I am truly grateful to you for making the call OC. I’m not married to the idea that this little boy and Sean are one and the same but, I agree, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Also, this may spur authorities to locate Sean.

Yes, Amen to your prayers. I spent hours scrolling through and checking posters of (the almost 3,000) missing and unidentified children listed on NCMEC last night. It was a truly saddening experience. God Bless them all and keep them safe until they are found or reunited with their loved ones.
 
Yeah, I’m not married to the idea that it’s Sean, either. But at the very least, he can be ruled out if it isn’t.

I still can’t help but wonder if he’s a victim of one of the hurricanes. Galveston has a lot of cruise ship tourism, too. Wonder if all that’s back online after the hurricane.

What a beautiful little boy. I pray they find out his name soon, and if his death is a homicide, which I think is most likely, I hope they find the one or ones who has harmed this precious little boy.

Even if he is a victim of homicide by one or both of his parents surely he has other family members who love and care about him. Those who will recognize who he is from the composite drawing and will call police ASAP! The sketch is very detailed right down to his very beautiful brown eyes.

They still are not listing any clothes he was wearing so I think he was found without any clothing. That could have been purposefully done to make his ID even more difficult. :(

The sketch of the deceased child is very similar to the photograph of Isaiah, Lyssav. I can see why people called LE as a possible match.

I would’ve have thought same If I had seen his missing poster on NCMEC.

The only discernible difference is that ‘Isaiah has a birth mark on the back of his left forearm.’

That info was released in the press conference, LE said it is very possible that if he came from the ocean that he could have lost his clothes in rough currents.

The child was found without clothing and LE are investigating his death as a homicide:

‘The boy's body did not appear to have sustained trauma, and was found unclothed – not unusual in drowning cases, in which a few minutes in the surf can remove clothing from a person, Schirard said.

But it is not clear if the child washed up on the surf or if the body was planted in the area. Police have not ruled out human trafficking, and contacted agencies in surrounding counties, federal agencies and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children for any records matching the case. Nothing turned up.

Authorities are treating the case as a homicide [...]’

‘Police [...] said the body was not severely decomposed and "fairly intact" with no missing limbs.

Glad to hear he wasn't severely decomposed or missing limbs. Hopefully that helps make it easier to identify him.

I think this keeps coming up. It is not uncommon for people in rivers or oceans to end up without clothing on. It just happens with the tumbling, pulling, currents, weight and stretching of clothing.

What does surprise me is that he was recovered from the ocean. Usually bodies sink in the ocean. Initially at first due to osmosis. In a way it is a blessing he was found, especially if it is homicide so people can be brought to justice.

I just hope he wasn't a hurricane victim from the Caribbean and mom or dad is also missing. Perhaps a sunken life raft or boat trying to flee. It might be hard to find his name that way.
 
Marcos Macedo missing from Longview since May 31st thought to be in Mexico - only 2years old but similar size and features. No confirmation that he is still missing.
