Sorry for my ignorance. Certain that everyone has discussed this. But has LE come out to clear all sex offenders? There are THREE surrounding her house for crying out loud. All have offenses against minors around HD age besides the one whose victim was a four year old. And not to be paranoid, there was a certain post on a news site today that has me scratching my head on a SO potential in this situation.

Two offenders:

Map Attached as well.

Who just walks in and quits their job the day after Christmas and doesn't discuss
it with their mate first????

Sparky is with DPS.... Senior Trooper Sparky Dean of the Texas Department of Public Safety per this article

Like I said, spokesman for the Rangers.

BBM That's just it. Whatever information that they obtained that lead to their new hunch could also be the perfect reason that HD would be vulnerable to a predator. Predators search out kids from broken homes. So what I am saying is how can you rule out that she has been taken? Just because she could have run away doesn't mean she did. LE must have some more pertinent info that I can't figure out. Even if HD talked of running away, it doesn't rule out that she was abducted while running away.

MOO

I agree as there have been many cases with similar circumstances that I have read about.

This is not placing blame on the family at all either. I have a lot of respect for Billie from all I have seen. Kids are kids and anyone is prone to issues within their families but each person and case is different.

Interesting comments here by someone who's husband works where SA did, says there was no argument, he just walked in and quit......FWIW.

Thanks to lynnb who is keeping me caught up today, lol!
that's interesting, but like everything else, makes no sense. Why go there, & not a store, to get a soda? He could've talked to someone, & the witness didn't see it. maybe the witness saw him, after the coversation, confrontation, or whatever it was.

from the latest link

"According to Kampfer, the Texas Rangers are moving fast toward a definite direction for the investigation, and some of the leads being investigated are in the immediate proximity and some are out of state"

I just hope they are way closer to finding her!

Because LE passes on the information

Or the neighbors do. I've seen it on our news down here. They will say something like, "the neighbors report seeing a CPS agent at Susie's home...etc." Our news is big on dropping mentions of CPS into their stories. Sometimes they also say, "There is no history of CPS being involved."

Finally LEadmits no tunnel vision and is looking into the criminal part!!!

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Nothing in this case is ever clear and simple! Thanks for THAT link ....

Law enforcement expanding investigation

<snip>

"Law enforcement agencies are focusing on multimple directions," Kampfer said at the press conference. He also said that "some if not most (of the directions) might be on the criminal side."

more here ~

Kudos for Sweetwater and Big Spring LE for going to help with the tasks that have to be done daily. I know that is appreciated! I don't know what to surmise from the rest of the article.....

I think it is a possible abduction by someone she met on the internet and she was picked up in the motel parking lot. IMHO
That's my theory for today, very confusing case.

I agree 100% and have stated this all along. That person may be close by staying in a friend's house and keeping her hidden. Or maybe she was close by for a while, then with all of the publicity, left town.
