But this could mean murders remain formally unsolved because there is no conviction. Which is weird imo in such high-profile case.
Of course securing conviction most important.
Hopefully conviction/sentence upholds on appeal

Cannot imagine an appeal getting too far with this case...on what? Defense did not put up a case. Probably only thing would be that judge clearly did not like the defense or the defendant and his facial expressions made that clear. Influence the jury...doubt it they could see the case for themselves and they spoke with one loud voice.
