Good catch, RKnowley--very strange. Would anyone run away in their pajamas and not take even a single pair of shoes? That soooooo sets off my hinky meter.

Are you kidding me! Girls run around the mall these days in their pj's.
Not to unusual in these troubled times.

My guess is those teens who run around malls that way could always go home and put on more clothing if desired. If someone were planning on running away I'd think they'd at least put on a pair of shoes.

I agree, RKnowley. Even someone who planned poorly and spontaneously would likely not have left in pajamas with no shoes.

IMO I don't think Jessie or Lindsay are Princess Lavender. Princess Lavender was found wearing $25 jeans. I highly doubt Jessie & Lindsay would wear that type of jeans from what I have read. Also, as I've said, Jessie has caps on her teeth and I believe they would be able to tell if Princess Lavender had caps on her teeth by just a brief look at her teeth. If I had to guess I'll bet Lindsay has had work on her teeth too..that's just a hunch though.

While I tend to agree with you that this is most likely not Jessica or Lindsay, and that neither of them would choose to wear $25 jeans. They were both reported missing quite some time before P.Lav was found. There is no telling what there situation was, and if they were being held captive, they may not have had a choice as to clothing preference.

There is some information posted in Jessie's thread about Peter Todd having possible ties in both Houston, TX and also in The Colony, TX. From what I understand, Houston is not far from Kilgore. This was discussed on other possibles for P.Lav.

Yes, but don't you think that Jessie can be ruled out because of her dentals? Jessie had caps on some of her teeth and from what I understand Princess Lavender did not.

Oh! I thought that we still were not sure if P.Lav's were her real teeth, although I tend to believe that they are, because the UID reports seem to bank on that information in identifying her. As I said, I tend to agree that it's probably not Jessie or Lindsey. I just am not ready to rule it out completely, especially with Peter Todd's possible ties to Texas.

Lots of girls run around without shoes anymore. There is another UID listed in this forum that says the girl didnt have shoes on here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58974 and just yesterday when I picked up my child from school and we were on our way home - we saw a teenage girl walking down the street with a jacket on and jeans and she was barefoot even though it was a bit chilly to be barefoot. I see them barefoot around here all the time anymore and like lookout said above i see them also in pajamas in stores even.

Were those girls running away??

The girl I saw yesterday was a neighborhood teen, I've seen her before so I didnt think that when I saw her - I just wondered why all these girls are running around barefoot in the wintertime. I live in the south where thats common (seeing teens and kids barefoot) but its still weird to see it in the winter months because its still chilly here too.

I wear no shoes, outdoors, in the rain, and if it is cold out (20 degrees) to run and get something from my truck or some other little yard errand. I would never run away without shoes, though. I think the chances of anyone running away without taking a pair of shoes is very, very slim.

Would anyone here be able to do an overlay of a picture I found with the bust of Princess Lavender? Or perhaps tell me how to? I came across a MySpace profile of a 22 year old female, location listed as Kilgore, last login was Feb. 9, 2006. What got my attention was her smile... her teeth appear to be perfectly straight. I'll try to find out if there's another profile for this girl, in case the one I found was merely abandoned and a new one created (not uncommon). If you would like a link, let me know, but I'm going to hold off on posting it to the forum in case there is no connection between Princess Lavender and the girl I found.

Can you post the MySpace link here?

Any news on the DNA testing for P.Lav and Jessie Foster???

Let's just say that the DNA swabs taken from Jessie's mom have not even been sent to Texas yet because LE has not taken a sample from Jessie's father yet. You would think they would have sent her mom's out without waiting on the other...

Possible Break in Case of Missing North Las Vegas Woman

Updated:Feb 7, 2008 06:44 PM MST

A family's long search for answers may have finally ended. The burned remains of a body found in Texas may be a North Las Vegas woman who has been missing for almost two years.

It's a sad case, but the family of 21-year-old Jessie Foster may finally get some closure. The ordeal started when for some reason the straight-a student turned to prostitution. Lured by the lights and fast life of Las Vegas, she fell into the wrong crowd, became a high-priced escort and may have eventually fallen victim to a human trafficking ring.

The beautiful blue-eyed blonde disappeared in March of 2006, just months after moving from her family's home in Canada to North Las Vegas to be with her wealthy boyfriend, Peter Todd, the man police say was the last person to see her.

Retired New York policeman Frank Mahoney heads up the non-profit Nevada Center for Missing Loved Ones -- which assists local investigators in missing persons cases. He says the Nevada Attorney General's Office forwarded him the Foster case after it received information suggesting Foster fell victim to a human trafficking ring.

About the same time, the burned body of a woman surfaced in Kilgore, Texas. Using the skeletal remains, forensic artists reconstructed the face of the unidentified woman and aired it's likeness on America's Most Wanted just last month -- an episode Mahoney just happened to be watching at home.

"It blew my mind, just blew my mind. I jumped out of bed and e-mailed her mother right away," he said.

I agree, I would think they would just get started with what they have now. Do you happen to know what the holdup is with getting the DNA sample from Jessie's dad?

Good morning everyone!
I don't know what the hold-up is w/ obtaining the sample from Jessie's father, but I CAN tell you that the more familial samples submitted, the better for the Lab results when they are making comparisons such as this. There is a tiered system by which the lab prefers to make comparisons, and full profiles from the mother and father are high on that list, of course. Yes, they will make attempts at matches with a whole lot less than that, but if they know they have that option avail. (of using both parents as opposed to just one), it is preferred and MORE ACCURATE. Familial reference samples are processed robotically, so it is very likely both the mother and the father's samples will be in the same "batch," anyway. The results are much quicker when comparing fam. refrnc. samples to UID DNA profiles already in existence, than is the process for obtaining the original profile from the remains, which IS done by hand.

But I certainly understnd the frustratn of waiting...it's not like it is on TV!

Hope this helps, sloane
