I don't know who this Akoya person is, but I'm definitely taking their statements with a grain of salt.
I don't believe FLEK was identified last year (as this person claims) or else she would have been pulled of NamUs then...

Yes! Definitely a rabbit hole because we are assumption two major things to believe there is a connection...

1. Akoya's emails from Velling are real and unaltered

2. That the city and State are Hilo, Hawaii.

Where did the Hilo idea come from?

When Yahoo is answering the subpoena on the user information for Lori's email accounts, it shows the main account was created in 2004. The name is Lori Ruff, of course, but the address is Carrollton? ?? Just weird.

i heard back from a FB message to the Seattle times. Response : "We're on it -- I can let you know when it's ready."

I wrote back and asked them to let me know and if it will be today.

Where did the Hilo idea come from?

Hilo came from the FOIA request. It reported that TT lived in Hilo and possibly had a girlfriend and child residing there as well. It explained that they reached out the Hilo DMV for photos of said child and possible girlfriend.
