If you can, please post what the Prosecutor's reasoning is for not seeking the death penalty.
This just makes me so mad! :furious:
I haven't seen their reasoning in any article yet.
Makes me mad too! :furious:

I heard someone on local news say basically it would be better they live the rest of their lives in prison as that would be more difficult (paraphrasing) for them. I wondered if that was GrandmaSheryl. I turned the news on right when that person was talking.
It's just sad no matter how you look at it.
The judge told the 19-year-old that he set her court date for November 3 to give her time to recover from giving birth.
Kimberly Trenor is pregnant and is scheduled to deliver in July.
Child Protective Services officials say theyll meet with Trenor then in order to discuss if relatives will be able to adopt the newborn....

I had forgotten that she was pregnant. :furious:

Well the good thing is Trenor's & Zeigler are in prison and won't be able to abuse this baby to death. My prayers to Riley.
NewMom, I can see how that can happen since there were no signs of pregnancy in any of her pictures and it was not always brought up when she appeared in Court.
I am all for the life in jail for her..............no way should she even get a chance to hold that baby after giving birth. You don't kill one and then get one to hold one later.
Sorry, I just get so when I think about what Riley Ann had to endure in her short life when she had such a loving family in another state.
I agree. I don't even think she should be allowed to hold her new baby.
I not only think she shouldn't hold the baby, I don't think should be allowed to see the baby either.
Agreed. There is nothing motherly about her. As far as I'm concerned she gave up all rights to any happiness when she participated in Riley's torture and murder.
The new baby will be better off not knowing anything about the woman that gave birth to her.
I know, but what if the baby is adopted by family member? It makes me sick to think baby might be given to one of her family members that will let her have contact with the baby
