That’s very random when they could have had it all paid for, or at least a massive chunk. If you earn too much ( and it’s a massive amount you can earn) and are assessed as needing it you still only pay a small percentage (that may have been the go fund me need) as the disabled children are under 18. I’m going to take the brothers statement as the truth but with a pinch of salt. Lucky them if someone purchased both cars for them- very jealous!

Hi Helenvic - just a heads up. It cost me £10 to park for just under 4 hours - Cambridge is very expensive to park - they prefer people to use park and ride sites. I was questioned three times about who I was and why I wanted to go in Court 1 before they let me in - probably for security. I’m going on Friday and hopefully Monday with a colleague who knew Bea. Scott is scheduled to be up today maybe tomorrow. Yesterday they err unsure whether Sarah would take the stand or whether the prosecution would call any other witnesses. Good luck if you do decide to go.

If she happened to be one of the workshy people, desperate for any loophole to avoid working, that she'd have kids to avoid it, then I don't think she would not have chosen to be employed.

I think a more compelling argument would be that if she was truly taking care of all of the children how they should be cared for, then how would she have time to have a job?
News reports show that she was working as a carer. And Bernadettes messages to her mother show that abuse happened while Sarah was at work.
Scott was the stay at home parent.

I'm not familiar with how mothers of 10 function and whether they should be able to manage tiktok and Facebook accounts.
But in this day and age, why not. It's the new way of socialising.

There is a requirement for one person to work 16 hours a week in order to be entitled to certain benefits so it would be in her interest to only work part time. We do not know how many hours she was working or do we? or for how long she had a carers job. IMO she would not have still been working after the first lockdown in March 2020 as she was 6/7 months pregnant by then and would have been a very unsafe environment to work in.I believe pregnant women were advised to shield? Running a household with 10 kids even with 2 parents at home would be a massive amount of hard work,think laundry, cleaning, shopping , cooking for twelve people ,washing up, baths ,bedtime, homework. home schooling due to lock down. Doubt there would have been much 'me ' time for either of them. But she also found time to meet a new man and have a relationship!
 
Maybe after they went to the newspapers with the fund for a child's wheelchair. A generous donor came forward and they didn't say no.

She's not charged with murder now, but she was charged with it in September. I think police have a view on this and the downgrading of the charges would have been a CPS decision/review and I don't think it makes sense. I think it even undermines their case that she did what she did after finding out Bee was dead a few seconds earlier, and hadn't been instrumental in the plan.

Let's see if the jury will believe her that she thought Bee was alive when she started lying about her running away. Because if they agree with the charges that she knew Bee was dead, my opinion is that she would not have been acting to cover up a murder by Scott acting on his own. I think she was the boss in their relationship. She had already thought through changing Bee's accounts, when she wouldn't even have known Bee was going to run off, and also makes no sense if Bee was alive to go and turn up at any of her friends' doors.

Just had one post deleted by Admins and rightly so. Apologies for my inappropriate reply to another post that has also been deleted. We are not allowed to name family members as they are classed as victims, even if they are mentioned in court.

It is interesting that SaW did take some of her children with her to the boyfriends house so the family was being divided between them at least on an occasional basis. Does that indicate ScW wasn't completely trusted to look after all of them whilst she was away? Seems ScW was left with the lads after BW 'ran away'.
 
It seems that she didn't want Scott to be looking after children of a particular gender.

If you don't mind a half hour walk from your car I can recommend a free spot.

There is not a limitless pot of government cash for home adaptations, wheelchairs, cars and other disability aids that parents or disabled people can just call on at any time and these things will magically appear for free overnight.

Assessments are done on a county council level, and even if they agree that you need x adaptation, the money isn’t necessarily available for it, or with some councils they only agree to part fund it. The assessor may not agree that the house is suitable for the adaptations needed, in which case you face an incredibly long wait for an already adapted house to become available. This is why so many people turn to fundraisers or to pay for the work needed.

It’s also not true that being assessed for home disability funding triggers SS involvement. I’m disabled, I’ve got a very minimal amount of adaptations funded by the council, and no SS involvement whatsoever.

No. Only after George Michael died did all the stories come out about how generous he had been to causes with his own money and never sought credit for any of them. I'm not talking about Live Aid or Do they know it's Christmas. The point is, there are many people who make gifts to causes on condition of anonymity. That a donor gave them two cars and remains unknown is entirely plausible. It doesn't make SaW and ScW necessarily ungrateful because they never publicly acknowledged the donor.

Will you let me know when you intend to go so we don’t end up going on the same days? They might not let us all in and it’s a long way to go and then be turned away. I’m definitely going Friday and most likely Monday. Thanks.
 
Lots of people don’t realise how benefits and grants etc work. Sarah walker definitely would have gotten grants for the work on their house. She fundraised for these works and pocketed the money. Kids with complex needs will attend occupational therapy, physio etc. The OT is who recommends adaptations. If it’s social housing it’s done quicker than private owned. She loved attention. Between the million tik toks, old Twitter accounts and newspaper articles for the kids etc. She def doesn’t add up to me. Ten kids and a new boyfriend. How she had the time or energy! The whole situation between her, Scott and the boyfriend is just wierd. I do not know how the two of them conspired to murder Bernadette as someone said earlier there’s something linking them together.
