@rehtnap Thanks for the following reveal. After re cheking the information, I do not believe that I need to make any changes to my Blog, which I am happy to do so if anything is brought to my attention that is factually incorrect. CL could have had PR fit a new engine in her vehicle. I was making the point that if it was a local Garage then the one I stated was likelly to be the most suitable for an engine change, given that her Dad would not want this size of repair to be undertaken by some "Back Street Garage" This is what you said:

Please see attached the quote that I have just obtained for a named vehicle from my named garage and like most garages then and now they are manufacturer agnostic when it comes to repairs.
I also checked their website and I have attached a screenshot of the garages Home Page-it does not have any manufacturer branding showing. Im amused at how you believe that it is a specialist for Citroen and Peugeot Vehicles?

i looked at the "home page" did u fail to notice its full of stock photos that some are german and one I believe American and none are their workshop..the web site photos are junk its a bulled up web site......but that aside all I was saying is that round there there are numerous garages that could have done the work..what would be more interesting is if any were linked to pr in any way..

major..in ur time line u say about the cctv sighting @ 3.05...Now when we asked the Cold Case team at Cleveland and North Yorkshire about this camera, it appears that it was footage from a private house directly oposite Claudias house....but the police earlier stated Claudia is captured at 15:05 a private CCTV camera that sights her at the junction of Heworth Road and East Parade...the two cctv cant be the same...yes agree the sighting @ 3.05 was around east parade but not from a cctv opposite her house...somewhere ur info has got confused

Not my timeline. If you look at image below from my Blog you will see that this is the Police Time Line and their description of the camera location.

In my Blog it says:

I am making it clear as above in red here that initially police advised us that the Private Camera was at JCT. Of Eat Parade and Heworth Road. The Police corrected themselves when challenged re the "Private House cctv system"

@rahtnap, you have picked two areas of my Blog. You have not read either correctly as my private CCTV recording shows that the Police-"Corrected" themselves. I show this. I still believe that this is the only Garage of substance in the area and so I still stand by this-Of course I also make it clear that other garages in York could do this repair. I was just providing an example of one very close by that was better set up to do this.

so the police quoted the wrong camera?????@ 3.05 she is,by their account, captured at east parade..but then when questioned they said it wasn't east parade but from opposite her house is that how I should read it?...you see what im getting at..they are talking about 2 different locations..so what time was she captured on the cctv opposite her house?

She text her on evening of 19th to joke about being stood up.

Suzy Cooper walks to the Nags Head for her Pre arranged meeting that evening. Walking from her home in the Tang Hall area, Suzy would not pass Claudias House.

Claudia does not turn up for a Pre-arranged evening with Suzy Cooper. Suzy sends her the following text and gets no reply:

“Oh, thanks a lot for standing me up!”

Suzy was known to not bother Claudia on occasions when she did not respond to texts and so this was quite normal. Suzy had thought that Claudia has just fallen asleep after an early start as she had done on previous occasions.

Thursday 20th March 2009

When Claudia failed to respond to further texts the following morning, Suzy became concerned. Suzy asks George Foreman, Landlord of The Nags Head to pop around to Claudias and check if she is in-There is no answer.

Suzy rings Claudias Father, Peter (67) as he had a spare set of keys. He calls Claudia’s workplace and when they advise she did not report for work on 19th or this day he goes with George, landlord at Nags Head to check out the house and no one is found there.

They are talking about ONE cctv camera.
In their timeline they mention East Parade but when questioned they reveal it is actually in a private house opposite to Claudias.

Did they want to reveal the existence of this camera??

I do not know why they mentioned East Parade in their timeline.

I can only assume that they did not want to reveal the private cameras existence and a new officr in cold case team may well have let this slip when asked.
As you can imagine, Police may now have to explain why they have never previously mentioned the existence of this footage or camera location and what could well be seen if further footage was examined.

Im not a day ahead of myself but just a genuine error. Details are important, thats why I always offer to make any amendments if brought to my attention. Lets face it having gone over many of the MSM journalism there are hundreds of not only date errors but factual errors because they have Cut or Copy / Past from other journalists.

this was from suzy in an interview.."the next morning, when I tried calling her, I got a message saying her phone was out of service," so in the morning when she rang she got "out of service".pretty specific she doesn't say went to answer service..maybe cl didn't have answer service switched on but it strikes me that the network couldn't connect to the phone rather than connect and it ring till no answer.. she says next morning yet the phone wasn't switched off till 12.10 so do we deduce that the phone was at the time of her call/s in such a location it couldn't log onto the network?????

when her manager called cl on the 19th the phone connected to a mast next to the university and he left a voice mail so I guess she did have it operational so why did suzy get out of service???
