I'm with you on that Suzy. Which bounces off my previous post about the opportunistic 'phone dump' in the back of the lorry and NOT the bin.
I'm struggling to come up with a scenario that meets the criteria of Corrie meeting a person outside of the vehicle, parting with his phone, phone ending up in the bin lorry and the driver/Corrie departing the scene. I feel certain this is the case though. Needs discussion.

QUESTION TO THE FORUM:
Under what circumstances would Corrie be alleviated of his mobile phone (and possibly his wallet/keys) in the 'Horseshoe' AND outside of a vehicle?

At this stage we are not sure if he was with or without his personal belongings.

Suggested environmental facts are;
No struggle.
No noise.
No witnesses.
Moderate local footfall.
No CCTV.
Darkened area.
Possibly phone into the bin lorry?
Possibly the phone stays in the car and follows bin lorry?

Discuss.

Remember this started with three teens not coming forward. They were told you won't be in trouble so eventually they came foward. Maybe they found Cs phone then chucked it in bin or lorry when they found it was old/locked. Maybe they gave the info about the bin lorry being there to police. Maybe police then decided to check the bins and lorry to make sure C wasn't in it meantime C had left sharpish on foot or by vehicle just after 3.25 explaining why noone seems to have seen him. JMO

Just a few comments on the overnight posts as it appears some have not played catch up.

Location broadcast is a prerequisite of tinder and POF, when you open the app you start broadcasting.

Recyclables and general waste are not collected together. General waste is sorted as per N's description, but it was not general waste that was collected.

There are no MSM reports stating that F12 was forensically searched. Only "searched". They are a private residence and would require a warrant which without evidence is unobtainable. F12 have said nobody was residing at Brentgovel location but that doesn't mean that they had zero residents at other sites.

The phone doesn't have to have been in the bin to end up in the bin lorry.

'Phone dump theory':
The only instances I can think of where you would part with or be parted from a mobile phone is a throwing away into the bin LORRY of the phone by the perp, OR throwing away into the bin LORRY by Corrie. To do this by the perp, would suggest to me an intention to distance himself from Corrie's direct emergency communication. In other words to prevent Corrie asking for help via his mobile phone. To do this by Corrie suggests a last minute decision to me? A frustrated moment that no one has replied to his messages or his calls. The latter I don't buy. I know of no one in their right mind who would intentionally bin their phone containing Apps, contacts and all the information under the sun on AND with at least 4 hours battery life left AND with no other way to make good a lift home. Doesn't make sense to me. Binning it by the perp does tho.

'Car theory':
Alternate theory is both Corrie and the Perp sitting in a car for nearly an hour getting jiggly and being disturbed by the bin lorry and the bin lorry driver manually moving the bins. Then both of them putting a temporary halt on the nights jiggly proceedings, waiting for the bin lorry to leave and then inadvertently following it towards BM/Mil area with the phone either still in Corrie's pocket (likely) OR dropped out of his pocket whilst seated, into the car (possible but unlikely).

I see it as being really that simple.

Pilgrim, remember the conversation we had about shift start times? What did we go firm on?

For contextual purposes it's important to note the 55 minute window.
What scenarios could have occured inside the HS within 55 minutes which resulted in the phone moving?

Nothing....except sitting in a car hiding in plain view. Then moving to meet the phone ping exit of BSE at 0420/30.

Or entering a building, incident occurring, perp disposes of phone etc upon hearing bin wagon.

I thought we proposed 0300 or 0330?

I have to disagree with the drugs thing. Not saying it is common in the military but it happens, and certainly more than most people would think. That's not to suggest Corrie was but it can't be discounted.

I have socialised with RAF for 15 years and never witnessed or heard of any form of drug taking apart from one incident. This incident was deliberate as the lad wished to be discharged rather than signing off and waiting a year.

Except not all methods of being visible to someone on the internet require location.

And I'd still like to know how anybody other than Corrie could know the settings on his own phone. It's a fair question?

Do they have a "night porter" on that "residence" ?

Trying to think of "who knows when a bin lorry comes and which bin it empties" ?

I'm trying to think of any reason you would place your phone on top of a bin to have a pee. Surely you'd just leave it in your pocket?

A great point about the settings and how would anybody know, but again I think it is N's confusion. If he had location turned on it would not make his movements easier to find unless the phone could be remotely accessed. If this was the case then they must be able to see more information on his movements than they are letting on.

James- Night porter not required if nobody was officially residing there

I do believe in q&a N stated it was actually her phone, registered to her and C used it, I think she would be quite familiar with it.
