It's entirely possible for the dump and follow scenario, but also possible that the non lorry vehicle might just be stuck behind the lorry and they happen to be travelling roughly in the same direction.

Has it been discussed that if it was a conventional lorry which compacts the rubbish it collects, does at any point in its journey, can the driver use the compactor / scoop whilst in transit. If that happened it could coincide with the last ping from Corrie's phone, that's if of course the phone has been deposited in the lorry... That said if it was just a recycling lorry it might not compact at all...

This is a 'Compactor' vehicle. It is needed to lift 1100ltr bins. See Pilgrim's post in earlier threads.

The caretaker then.....
.....which means were in "Scooby Doo" territory !

"And I would have got away with it, had it not been for those pesky kids !"

...are you referring to the three teenagers behind the Cornwalk that the bin man saw? ;)

I am trying to find a link about this as I thought I had read the American was getting a taxi, so Corrie declined because he was meeting someone OR he was a bit short on ready cash and couldn't contribute to the cost of a fare?

I can't recall now if he was offered a lift or to share a taxi. If it's to share a taxi and he's got limited funds that could explain why, although if his personality is how his mother paints it then I can totally see him saying "I've got a £5er if that helps?" And coming to some sort of arrangement with the USAF man.

I'm trying to find the direct link to the info, I'm looking around in thread 2 but this could take a while lol

I'm pretty sure the lift he was offered was to a different base but struggling to find the link where I read it.

I'm just wondering.. we have 55 minutes unaccounted for from 3.24am.. but there's also a bit of a gap from when he wakes up at 3.08 and sends the text to 3.24 when he is picked up on the last CCTV entering the HS. It doesn't take 16 minutes to get from Hughes to the HS from what I can tell. It's a few seconds. So there's 16 min unaccounted for there too.

He could have just been sat there. But 16 mins is a long time for a millennial to sit in silence not using their phone at all. What was he doing?

Ah that'll explain why he didn't take it. Another dead end.

He was offered a lift apparently but the usaf man who offered it got a taxi with a female

All the businesses in the H/s have front entrances/exits as well as rear entrances/exits for deliveries and rubbish take out including F12 so C could have been taken into any of them and gone out a different way unseen. This vanishing stuff is just nonsense. He could also have gone up SB or Looms Lane unseen. The inside areas have not been searched as that would require search warrants which would require evidence and we know there isn't any. So all we have are the pongs and the vehicles whose drivers have been interviewed. Oh and the black now white people carrier that has NOT been torched and the Marham connection. JMO.

THIS !!! Yes, 100% agree with all of this x

Sorry to ask, has there been confirmation that the Focus 12 property has a front access away from the HS?

I've read on here that that was the only access!

Thanks Annie

I was pointing towards not seeing a link between Focus 12 clients and crimes. Yes, might not have been reported with patient confidentiality, but I still think the significance of no 26 is being somewhat overplayed.

Hope it's OK to post this link here? I thought it was interesting that in September 2016, the highest crimes committed in BSE were for violence & sexual offences, 3 crimes were in Brentgovel Street (not categorized) and 2 sex/violence crimes were nearby: http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...postcode/IP33%202QF+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

Why wouldn't the 'following' vehicle simply overtake the bin lorry when it reached the outskirts of BSE? Roads are wide enough and would have been relatively traffic free at that time of the day? Or is it more the case that it followed the same route, but wasn't necessarily physically in tandem with the bin lorry on the road?

Diamba85 - regarding time lost between doorway and horseshoe: this is important IMO. He might have been awake prior to the 3.08 message send too. But presumably it is all covered off in the (unseen) CCTV footage of him at Hughes doorway.

It could do exactly that. We have the speculative theory of a driver with car (I'm going with male(s)) travelling north west, leaving BSE at approx 0420/30 and entering BM mast area 28 minutes later (as stated by N but I'm not buying that at the moment after reviewing it again).

Hello, I am new here but have been following the case since it was first presented to me in the media. I have followed the Find Corrie page since it has first opened.

Over time I have jumped from conclusion to conclusion about Corries whereabouts. Up until yesterday I did wonder if foul play was the case but what if he had chosen to go AWOL? Was Corrie a bit of a lone sheep? It seems strange to me that he has been reported to basically be the life and soul of the party yet he choose to go out with no one on the night he went missing and then he slept in a doorway after he was drunk. He also spent a little time on his phone to his brother. Why would he do that if he was planning on having a socialised evening?

I have been reading this thread for several days now and I have to agree with many comments that have been posted on here about Corries missing phone and the location of it. How would anyone know when the bins where to be emptied? Was it a lucky guess, did they have information or was Corrie just following the bin lorry?

Corries family state there is no way that he went AWOL but how can they be 10001% sure unless they know something we dont? Could Corrie have money worries? We know his Mum payed for his car and phone which seems a little odd for someone who is 23 and has a "okay" paid job. It was also deemed that he was skint so where did he spend all his wages on?

Could Corrie have been bullied or felt outed by the servicemen serving at his base? Could this be a reason why he felt the need to show off all the time? Did he enjoy being the clown in front of everyone but people grew tired of him? Who knows but could this be reasons for Corrie to have gone Awol?

One thing that gets me in this case is his family. They seem very divided -Mum/Dads side however they both want one thing which is Corrie returning home. <modsnip>
They seem like a family at war to me and I can't help feeling sorry for Corries brothers in it all. I would personally hate to be in between 2 family wars. Maybe Corrie did to and this was another thing to make him go AWOL?

I am not 1000% saying he has gone AWOL but the whole situation which I have thought and thought about does not add up. If he was taken then how did the person know that no one would see Corrie? Know the times of the bin men? Know the CCTV camera set up? Know not to leave a inch of evidence.

I just hope this poor boy returns. I have been feeling sick thinking about where he is and where he could be or has ended up.

I don't find it strange at all. He's been in a relatively safe environment for quite awhile, he knows it and it still is relatively safe. He's surrounded on three sides in Hughes doorway by a wall, a door and a shop window. He's finished his food off there. He sends/receives a photo image at 0308 so he's compus mentus. He leaves at 0322 and jogs towards the 'Horseshoe' for his meet up at 0324 where he's caught on CCTV camera.
I really don't see why it's being complicated unless I'm missing something (and I've been with this case right from the beginning)?
