A man has been charged today (Wednesday, February 27) in connection with the disappearance of Joy Morgan, a 21 year old University of Hertfordshire student, who is missing from Hatfield.
Ajibola Shogbamimu, age 40 of Fordwych Road, London, has been charged with murder. He will appear at Hatfield Remand Court tomorrow (Thursday, February 28).
Joy, a midwifery student was last seen in Ilford on December 26, 2018. She was reported missing to police on Thursday, February 7.
Joy has links to Ilford, Battersea, Cricklewood, Stevenage and Luton.

A perfunctory search of the suspect's name shows his recent directorship of a company that sold meanswear? Wonder if it was alternative clothing for a younger generation for the purposes of church as the name - Naughy Cathedral - suggests some connection. Or it doesn't at all. Man, this sucks.

It is so very sad - Rest in Peace Joy - She looked so happy in the video that has been used on MSN where she is dancing during the hanauka celebrations on 26 Dec

The murder charge is terrible news. They must have strong evidence of death, maybe a confession, maybe something found in Joy's flat or in that car?

Joy looked like a lovely girl, and she'd chosen a wonderful profession to study...wanting to help new life into this world, only to lose her own life to a murderer before she had a chance to really life her life
