So they're also working at farmland approximately 7 miles away from Ibstock where she was found? Wonder what is/was found there [emoji20]

^^ People trying to make sense of the senseless murder of a young girl. What you see as innocent images of a party boy having a good time, others see as creepy.

sar2them1984's, What is your theory on the how and why of this horror story?
How and why? I don't know. Facts we know:
Kayleigh disappeared after meeting someone off Facebook
LH and SB have been arrested.

So presumably she met LH. Other than that at the minute we jnow little else and so any thoughts would be speculation..

Perhaps he tried it on with her and she resisted, maybe it was a whole repeat of Jamie Reynolds. Who know atm

Well the two properties that were being searched were 5 & 7 George Ave.. So im presuming 7 is LH's property as they were the two arrested & they didn't live together. The houses & the numbers were shown in an article I read. SB's house was the house with the cctv in operation sticker on the front door window. X

I know SB's address is shown on his business site, but I must have missed how LH's address is known.
We don't know that No 7 is LHs. SB is no 5 and the other rproprty searched the other day was 7. I'm guessing people have assumed it's LH. His last known address was in whitwick but if as the neighbour said he'd only been living there about 2 months then that could explain why he's not showing up as living at George avenue

Kayleigh Haywood: Body removed from scene

A sombre scene was observed in Ibstock this afternoon as police carried away the body of a young girl believed to be that of Kayleigh Haywood.

For the last 24 hours, police have been concentrating their attention on a small wooded area next to a field outside Ibstock where the remains were uncovered yesterday evening.

Detectives investigating the disappearance have said they believe it is the missing youngster - who was last seen on Friday night just a mile from where the body was found.

At about 1pm today, it was brought out of a wooded area close to a farm off Melbourne Road and carried across half-a-mile of open land.

Surrounded by a team of police officers, dressed in full black uniforms, the covered orange stretcher which carried the body was carefully placed into the back of a waiting mortuary van.

The plain black vehicle then drove the short way along the track leading away from the farm and back down to the main road.

Accompanied by an unmarked police car, it turn right towards Ravenstone, away from the TV crews, photographers and waiting journalists, and was on its way to be formally identified.

:tears: :(

That is even stranger. Suggests somebody without access to a car because no way would you want the body so near your own home.

Actually that makes me wonder if she did die in a house. Perhaps she was attacked/assaulted in the park, bearing in mind her Phone was also found there. Then possibly used the van to put evidence elsewhere in the hope it would make police look elsewhere. I wonder if it will be announced she was at the edge of the pond? ALL MOO & THOUGHTS

Or buried

Think that's a possibility sar, or in water. Why did the murderers not tell police where she was FGS. I can only surmise it was because they thought she was well hidden and if they didn't tell she wouldn't be discovered..

Her poor family, all that time hoping.

BBM I know it is probably just the way this has been worded, but it makes it sound as though there was a formal escort for Kayleigh's body, across the open stretch of land to the van. Giving back to her the dignity that had been taken from her in life.
It reminded me of Becky and the way the mortuary removed her body in a coffin from Barton Court, showing respect for her.

Ah thanks, so I haven't missed it then. It's just people drawing inferences, not an established fact.

Rest In Peace, sweet precious baby. All my thoughts are with the family...

I never really get why once they are arrested they don't cough up. I mean really..do they honestly think they'll get away with it

Yes that coudl be the case. That for some reason they were in the woods and she died there and was just left where she was. Though it's taken an awful long time to find her if she really was only 5 minutes walk from the house they've been searching.

Yes, it was written very well to describe a very respectful and dignified scene. Bless all those involved.

Just makes me cry for Kayleigh's family though :(

This is only my own opinion of course - but I think that he/they admitted to meeting Kayleigh on Friday/Saturday, but then

probably said she'd left alive and well.

It explains a bit why police needed sightings after Saturday till they were arrested Monday a.m.

Spreading the phone and clothing in so many different areas was done in the hope of backing up their alibi. Just my thoughts.
