Actually looking at the map on the Telegraph article and I wonder if they are confusing George Street, Whitwick with George Avenue, Ibstock (which isn't yet on Google maps!).
Just tried it. When you search "George Avenue, Ibstock" Google brings up George Street, Whitwick.....
And this is the Telegraph.
It seems odd that the police on the one hand seem to have no leads on what happened between 6pm Friday and Sunday night, but on the other hand seem to have had some clue as to where to look to find Kayleigh. That was a pretty specific spot amongst miles and miles of open land they searched in the dark last night.
My guess is they followed the clothing trail and the storage outlet and used the helicopter to find the body ( thermal imaging )
eta - because I doubt the police got any help from their 2 suspects
I wonder when LH told his family about Kayleigh and her being 19?
Although Kayleigh doesn't look 19 to me and her facebook posts seemed child like, could her being dropped off at the college have been to make it look to LH that she was older than 15 and attending college?

Not really, because she was an ex-pupil there. 'College' doesn't necessarily mean it's for adult students.
I wonder what reason Kayleigh gave to her dad for asking to be dropped at the college. If she was carrying on the pretence of going to her friend's for a sleepover there may have been a cover story to dad that they were going out somewhere.
I know SB's address is shown on his business site, but I must have missed how LH's address is known.
I just find it hard to believe he thought she was 19, their is so many connections on FB between Kayleigh & LH, even her brother. I'm pretty sure LH knew Kayleigh wasn't around her brothers age, for starters there would be no photos of Kayleigh out socialising in bars, clubs etc. That is what the majority of 19 year olds do. I don't think he thought she was 19, JMO.
What bothers me is why he would speak to his parents about a 15 year old school girl in the first place. And that they'd been 'chatting for a while' makes it sound like it's ok. But it's NOT she's 15 and he is 27..a man! Or maybe their interview today was of them having spoken to LH while he is in custody & he has said this to them. Who knows. Seems strange Jmo.
A college disco or meeting an old college friend there?
I'm not saying I believe he definitely did think she was 19 but I do believe that he told his family that. They have no reason to lie.
But yes, like you, I was trying to work out why he'd even mention (to family) somebody who was just somebody he'd been messaging on facebook. Sounds like he may have thought there was more to it than just messages.
Police should have released details of what she was wearing at that time if they wanted the public's help. Was she dressed for a party/disco? Was she met there by LH or did she walk somewhere else after her dad had gone, etc.
I have to doubt that thermal imaging would be employed with a dead body though.
Yes, even if she did change her clothes later it's strange that they didn't release info about what she was wearing. Going with the Friday 13th theme I wondered if she'd been told there was a themed party or something.
Yeah I believe he told them that, like you just wondering why and when. Speaking to his parents about her as if it's some1 he could potentially date or they would maybe meet her in time, that's how it comes across. I don't know though,I really struggle to find how SB comes into all this, maybe his van & the storage facility.
Well they've not done their homework very well have they.. stephen Beadnell? ? Works for a gardening company??Childhood friends, first we've heard of that. Childhood friends and now apart adjacent neighbours, coincidence huh.
