I've just come across the below video. I think its the house and yeast factory cctv.

Libby Squire trial CCTV

Great find! One thing I was thinking about the CCTV is when we see the lights flashing when he has returned to the car at 12.19 is it possible that he is still quite a way away from the car but unlocked it on his way? As we don't physically see him. My husband does this in tescos he will unlock the car from quite a distance a way as he walking over to it. I have no idea whether there is any info regarding the distance key fobs are able to unlock PR's particular type of car but I thought it might be worth mentioning as in theory it could add some time onto the end of the tight timescales.

he is driving away just seconds after the lights are flashed, shown by the next cctv phase.

I’m sorry I can’t see any figures, but your eyes may be better than mine for sure! At the time of these scenes though he (PR) was definitely not by the river bank as he was almost at his car and seconds from driving away.

MOO

Yep totally agree. I think I'm over analysing here. I think PR is such a dangerous individual I'm convinced of his guilt and it is that confirmation bias.
Hope I have not caused alarm of spoken out of turn.

I think if there was footage of him grabbing her like that they wouldnt release it to the public really either.

Dont worry about it, think we all look for things and maybe our minds play tricks on us.

Welcome by the way.

Excellent job finding the yeast factory/house footage. I can kinda make out a single figure in the screenshot joolz1975 shared. Unfortunately I can't see anything in either the actual moving footage or in hellofresh's screenshots (welcome!). I asked my husband, who helpfully tells me he can see four (!!) people in the moving footage though  [edited to add: I would assume the police have enhanced this to within an inch of its life, and found nothing they could use].

The problem I have with this is that it does seem that the yeast factory has a very clear view of the entire stretch of the riverbank where it's most likely Libby entered the water (ie close to/easily accessible from that main path). I know the camera moves, so it's always possible that sheer bad luck missed a crucial 30 seconds, but I would have expected *something* to show up on that camera, and to be easier to see too. There must have been a splash; if alive, Libby would have been moving/struggling in the water; even if the camera failed to pick up the actual moment of entry, I think it would have picked up Libby in the water a few seconds later? Of course she DID end up in the water, but this footage makes me think perhaps not here. Which means either elsewhere in the park (which creates further issues with timing) or elsewhere altogether, which seems highly unlikely.

Really think it most likely she went in near the boathouse...there was a slope ...its top left of pond where scream witness said he thought the screams came from and it would fit with entering the gate near where he parked ...unfortunately its just out of view

I'm wondering though ...they pick him up on other cctv in the moving car so not sure he could be that far away....also if he was on the fields would he want to open his car not knowing if anyone near the car in the lay-by

Having seen how clearly the yeast factory can see the most likely riverbank area, though, does anyone else find it strange that there *isn't* something to be seen? Not on this particularl found footage, I understand the timings don't work for that - but the police will have scoured all of the earlier footage too and obviously found nothing. I think if Libby entered the water along this stretch, which has always been the most likely stretch, *something* would show up, even if indistinct, even if it didn't capture the exact moment she went into the water, it would have caught her *in* the water, no?

Ah, missed this post. I might be confused with where was thought to be most likely then. Thank you for clarification.

I thought that initially until I saw the boathouse slope where a lot of the police activity was is obscured

They can tell where someone has been by the type of soil they have on their shoes, murders have been solved this way many times before.
When someone dies by drowning they can usually tell whereabouts they drowned by the species of diatoms in their lungs. They can even travel to bone marrow.
So if they’d found evidence of drowning they’d have known exactly where she drowned too.

Sorry yes that would have been helpful! Hope this helps. I have increased the brightness too which only increases my suspicion. My heart dropped into my stomach when I saw it. Please tell me if anyone else can see this?

I have tweaked your image slightly and I think I can see someone with bare legs slumped over and someone holding them up? Have I outlined the same thing you are seeing?

But I think it must be our eyes playing tricks on us because if that was the case the Prosecutor would have mentioned it.

Yes absolutely. Sure it is a trick of the mind, how could it not be? PR car is pulling onto Beverley Road a minute and ten seconds later. I have outlined what I can see. Sorry quality is poor on my phone.
