It's way upthread somewhere but I didnt see a link to a source for it. So I am unclear where it came from. Anyone know?Really???
I have never heard this info
We can speculate in the reasons for killing / harming the babies and professionals can give the opinions but the only way we'll know for sure why she acted this way is if she talks. Does anyone think she may do so in the future?
You don’t think his wife ever figured it out? He may even have come clean with her, out of guilt, or a desire to save his marriage? Just thinking out loud here.
I only know from copying over the daily updates that she wasn't there most days, so didn't hear all the evidence. She states: "I've spent ten months in the presence of Lucy Letby."
That is chilling. The reality of this has finally hit me. JMOYes, the morning after that text. Also when she texted she'd be watching those triplet boys 'like a hawk.' Which is exactly how she watched them. JMO
I can understand the media. But I know what facebook/Reddit/tattle can be like. I’m impressed no one leaked a thing!
Also I wouldn’t want causing a mistrial on my conscience even though I love sharing a good scoop!Nobody fancies being thrown into jail is my guess
Thanks , I just read it.Post number 952
It was not my link
There must be something in the works, surely?A 24 hrs in police custody on this would be utterly fascinating.
I’m not sure she would even be aware it would come across that way. It will be interesting to hear - if we do - about the dynamic her and her parents had growing up etc.I'm not sure if you can infantilise yourself but you make a good point and maybe its possible.
IMO it's because they can't dig up any dirt on her past so this is the best they, the media, can do.Indeed, the media are focusing in on the affair and doc, as if that's the only motive. I guess it makes a headline for them.
I wondered if they're keeping most back in case there is a retrial for the no-verdict charges.A small part of one has already been released.
I see it differently.IMO it's because they can't dig up any dirt on her past so this is the best they, the media, can do.
Looking at the attempted murder charges she was found guilty of -That's what I think. The insulin cases were generally considered the strongest. I'd say someone on the jury was a stickler for standards of evidence and everything lesser than the insulin cases didn't meet that standard for them.
I have no idea how it works in the UK but its a shame there was no way for some of these Attempted Murder cases to come down to assault, grievous bodily harm, or something else similar. I can understand those decisions, tbh. Sometimes she really might just have wanted to hurt them - that's not attempted murder. It should bloody well be a crime, and she's essentially gotten away with those because there was no alternative or lesser charge.
Oh well. At least she'll be going away for a long time - hopefully forever.
