What is the court hearing at Rawalpindi High Court about? Is this for the alleged harassment by the Pakistani police? (As this is what Beinash Batool has claimed is her main concern) Typically court hearings are public (i.e., journalists are allowed to view from public gallery). Will this be the case for their Hearing? Closed Hearings are granted in very specific cases. I don't think this classifies...

As a side, and my own opinion - I find it shocking that Beinash refers to Sara's horrific death as "an incident" and yet is concerned that the Pakistani Police will torture and kill her, her husband, brother-in-law AND the kids! According to Surrey Police, Sara' death is referred to as a murder.

When LE in Britain can finally talk to Sara's brother and he feels safe, I believe he will be able to tell the whole story of what happened to Sara over many months. He is in the position to be the most truthful IF he feels safe. MOO MOO MOO

If what Sara's birth mother says is correct - and I have no reason to believe it isn't, despite how cold and lacking empathy the stepmother comes across on that video, I do wonder if she may have come across that way because she herself was being forced to speak by that coward of a man... resented being made to do it maybe?

Isn't it strange that a father and the head of the family did NOT speak??

But I guess,
a woman speaking was the trick to pull at heartstrings.

In these criminals' opinion - that is.

My concern is that if Sara’s father and Step Mother were involved in her murder (and I believe they were) then I worry that they will have no issues with ensuring that her brother is never in a position to give evidence. How do we even know that he is still alive?

He quite possibly witnessed the murder of his sister and was then taken to Pakistan - why would that have been voluntary on his part?

I also thought it was odd that he didn't do the talking in that video, and I couldn't get my head around his body language - slumped back, looking relaxed and almost bored... I wonder if they're both cruel but he is the more aggressive/dominant force of the two...

And I somehow got the feeling he was tense, but pretending to seem relaxed.
Something in his face expression seemed off.

But it is only my opinion/imagination

From "Uwaga" Programme

Why was Sara's mother taken away from her children?

-'Sara showed her bum to 15-year-old boys. She got spanked.
Then she told her daddy that her mother spanked her and he called social services' – recalls Ms Olga.

The court then ordered the children to live with their father.
'I was supposed to have visits and normal rights to the children,'
says Sara's mother.

'In the beginning, the contact was normal.
I used to visit children and they were always waiting for me.
Finally, their stepmother wrote to me not to come because the children did not want to see me.

It is not normal that one day the children were happy and snatched the phone, who would talk to their mother, and suddenly the children did not want to talk to me on the phone and called me the worst' – emphasizes the woman.

Ms. Olga contacted the social services to help her.

'They said the kids didn't want to see me and there was nothing they could do about it.
And that I can only wait'
she recalls.

'We all suspected that the children were manipulated by father.
Olga then broke down terribly, she even wanted to commit suicide.
It was terrible for all of us'
– recalls Sara's grandmother."

Sarah and her mother were failed by the UK government so spanking a child is worse than the abuse the father put her through.

I believe that the step mother is the main culprit here. I believe she beat Sara over a period of many months, forced her into caring for the younger children. I believe that she snapped and provided the final, fatal beating. They all left GB in a panic and the father felt enough grief or responsibility when he got to Pakistan that he called authorities. I believe that if LE can get the 13 y.o. brother back to Britain and safety he will tell the story. The other adults will have other motives for their stories. MOO MOO MOO MOO

I think violence is a part of both adults.
How he treated Olga is simply appaling.
Abusive treatment seems normal to these 2 people.
After all, he got away with his treatment of Polish wife.

And Sara meant nothing for the stepmother.
She was the daughter of her rival.

What these criminals never predicted in their stupidity, is that a child might die.

Then they panicked and fled.

But the "ground is burning" beneath their feet.
Good!

I agree! Especially in a patriarchal society in Pakistan, it is very odd that he sat there quiet whilst she spoke.

It could be that Beinash's english is better than his? Did she grew up in UK? Anyone detect a British (Luton?) accent?
IMOO

Also, what role has the uncle played in all this? His behaviour certainly is very suspicious! He could have given the money for the flight and deny all knowledge as to why they needed it. Why did he flee with them? Where did he work? If he was still a student where did he study? He had a lot more money than his brother as he paid for the last minute tickets to Pakistan (flights cost half a grand approx. per adult).
IMO

This uncle is a very mysterious figure.
It was reported he denied speaking to women.
Why did he live with them?
3 adults and 6 kids with not enough living space.

If they were that afraid of the police there, why would they flee there?

With this new information, that Sara (aged around 6 or less) showed her naked bum to a 15 year old boy; I find it interesting that Sara complained to an aggressive and abusive father that her mother had spanked her as punishment, so Sara knew that father would be angry at the punishment (he called social services) but not at the showing of her naked bum to a teenage boy? What sort of situation had already developed in this family at that point?

Detectives investigating the murder of Sara Sharif have revealed their appeal has been translated into Urdu in a bid to reach Pakistani nationals living in the area.

The 10-year-old was found dead at her home on Hammond Road in Horsell near Woking in Surrey on 10 August.

Four weeks on, police say they are continuing to distribute leaflets in the area, appealing for information about Sara, or her family, which could help to progress the investigation.

Posters have also been displayed in and around Woking train station and taxi ranks around the town.

Officers fluent in Urdu working for the force are also supporting the investigation team - helping to translate information given by members of the public.

Specialist teams and forensic experts remain at two addresses linked to Sara and her family - properties in Eden Grove Road in Byfleet, and their most recent home address in Hammond Road, Horsell.

Detective Superintendent Mark Chapman, from the Surrey Police and Sussex Police Major Crime Team, said: “We are working hard to progress the investigation into Sara’s murder and a key part of this is piecing together information about her life from anyone who knew her or her family.

“We are grateful to everyone who has come forward with information, and I would like to stress that any information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, could be of use in developing our understanding of her lifestyle.
