Ok. so for any crime you can be held for 24 hours in police custody (this "timer" begins when you enter a police station, not from when they actually arrest you).

A Superintendent or officer of a higher rank can then authorise a further detention of up to 12 hours.

Police can then apply to a magistrates court for up to a further 36 hours, and then they can re-apply for another 36 hours.

so in total they have the ability to hold him for 4 days before charging him.

MSM in the DM now suggesting that WC may have been followed by undercover armed officers for some time in the run up to his arrest. Also suggesting that he may have been allowed to continue working to avoid spooking him.

As per my post in the previous thread I believe that the Met have played a blinder here. They’ve clearly had him as a POI for a significant time but have waited to give them the best chance of recovering SE alive or deceased and also to ensure that they can pursue proper charges relating to Murder etc.

I wasn’t being abrasive with you at all, when I was trying to see what angle you were coming from!

We live in a highly sexualised society these days (I grew up in the 80’s / 90’s and still had several experiences myself I was flashed at on the beach, with my friend by a lone guy sexually assaulted in a night club and sexually assaulted by someone I knew in my own flat luckily he got spooked before talking it any further) Luckily these experiences weren’t as serious as many other women’s but were bad enough! So these things still happened randomly ...

I’m not attacking your post but just feel strongly that any insinuation of men being driven to commit offences is just a lack of accountability!

But I guess you just meant does this drive more people who are of that mindset to commit offences!

What set me off, was the DM site (DailyMail)
A big article about this SE story, with pictures of her and one of WC
... below that an MP suggesting men should be banned from going outside after 6pm

... then surrounding these and spanning half of the rest of the page are 'bikini pictures of influencers"

This struck me as quite odd and spurred me asking the question of whether the mixed messaging could affect some people.

My belief is that the basal instinct of sex is the primary driver of most of these sad crimes.... with mental illness or drugs being a stratifier....

The more we can understand any factors that cause people like WC to do this, the better chance we have of reducing occurrences (without resorting to locking up all men after 6pm etc).
As you note, such occurences are nothing new sadly!

Basically if it's on (SM) social media on an unverified/non (MSM) main stream media account then it's off limits. Anything relating to friends/family of the victims or (POI) persons of interest is off limits. You can not quote Facebook comments or rumours as fact.

You can add your own theories but you must highlight that by (IMO) in my opinion or (MOO) my own opinion and not state them as fact.

Edited to add :- I know it's frustrating but these are the rules here and if we stick by them it makes the threads run a lot smoother We all want to see this put away for a long time and get justice for Sarah

wow... never really used strava before, but looking at it seems crazy that you can just view someones routes/runs publicly. You can clearly tell where she lived and a common run that she did. Not saying that WC has done this but should all be private in my opinion and just visible to followers

You can select from 'everyone' 'followers only, and 'private' and when you first set up you are prompted to choose one of these as your default setting.

Mine is private, which I often change to followers only, but it'll be everyone for a big race or a spot of parkrun tourism.

We do not know why Sarah chose to have the runs we can see on 'everyone' We cannot know what proportion of her activity it is. And we cannot tell if she used privacy zones on those that are public

I'm surprised people are still theorising that this might have been the result of an RTA.

As someone who lives in the area I can guarantee the likelihood of this happening is nil, just from the perspective of general traffic/residential property. Couple this with what appears to be a thorough evidential cover-up by WC and for me it's a complete non-starter.

I did some GIS/criminal geographic data processing and it turns out the centre-point of five currently missing young women (I included SE for data) is a location protected by WC's unit. It's Chequers.


Red points are last seen locations of missing girls. Green points are locations protected by WC's unit.

Am trying to get this to the police, though I'd be surprised if they're not doing similar analysis.

Do we know the PM would be up at chequers and that WC would potentially get sent up there?
What is the timesframe for these disappearances?

Reason I ask is that do we know the PM (prime minister) would be at chequers at the moment due to lockdown or whether it is a) armed guarded 24/7 regardless (so WC could still be going up there) or do these mispers cover a longer timeframe when we know the PM was there, even if it’s only guarded when he is around.

The site is always guarded by armed officers, regardless of whether the PM is resident. Then the PM arrives with his own more specialist protection.

Same here - I always want to disprove a theory like this. But I'd rather put myself through the intellectual challenge so I can be happy with whatever outcome.
