Hopefully the police have tried to trace the two people in the still at 21:45 walking towards King Ave. from the direction of Clarence Ave. (junction) one appears to be walking a light coloured mid/large sized dog and the other looks to be carrying a white carrier bag or something. They might have come from an area near Clarence Ave or Poynders Parade near to 9:30pm and could have seen something.

Also someone at 21:55.

A bit earlier than the timeframe we're looking at for Sarah, but if looking for suspicious activity... I noticed these 2 images are the same. Both say 21:10 timestamp on the image. Presumably one is from 21:06 and the other from 21:12 judging by the file names.

Must be some sort of glitch?

I have also noticed that on some of the other cameras further down the road. Some of the images are the same for 6-12 minutes as if the cameras have frozen or glitched.

This is the 50 service’s route:
50 bus route

EDIT: click Map View when in there - looks like it goes almost the exact route SE is thought to have taken from around the A205 South Circular and Cavendish Road junction (up to the B221 at least, then peels south).
Brill, thanks! If this dash cam hasn’t picked her up you have to assume whatever happened, happened pretty much as soon as she finished her phone call... or she’s cut in somewhere between Cavendish and Clarence?

what’s Agnes Riley Park like? Is it a type or park that attracts dodgy people after dark?

I’ve been hoping for an update on AR Gardens for a while - it looks gated/fenced and shrubbed against the A205 so could easily be out of sight quickly. Also, I think there is a body of water in there. I’ve had an uneasy feeling about it for a while.

Edit to add: it’s also on the side of the A205 that one could walk towards Tulse Hill if trying to ‘stay away’ from the Clapham Park Estate. I think Suunday and ElizaKate also suggested the private doorcam that picked SE up could have been on this side of the A205. Ergo, a perp wouldn’t have needed to get SE across a main-ish road to get her into ARG.

To me it looks like the small kind of London park where local people would go - to walk their dog, give their kids a run out. So with that in mind I feel if there was something to find in there the police would have found it by now? Not a huge area to search.

Having said that, there were 24 hrs(?) before any searching started where someone could’ve gone back to move something?

"due to its "complex nature and concerns for Sarah's welfare", the Met's Specialist Crime Command had now taken the lead.
The spokesman said it would allow those in charge of the investigation to draw on a large pool of resources for what was a major investigation"
Sarah Everard: Police investigation into missing marketing executive is dramatically scaled up

Specialist Crime Directorate (Metropolitan Police)

Does anyone here have any knowledge of this crime unit/ Policing and is it normal for this unit to get involved in a missing persons case only after a few days?

Presuming one reason is so LE can draw on extra resources?

Described as a complex case, but from where we're sitting it doesn't look that way ATM.
Something tells me there's a lot more going on here.

Just had a thought when I saw the park.. I need to pee quite often when I drink wine, I know it wouldn’t be a good move but what if she was absolutely busting and she nipped into the park.. I mean I think I would rather pee myself than do that but I’m scared of the dark in my own house, maybe she’s not the type to fear things like that.
Probably a total stupid thought but I’m just going by how often I need, even if I had gone before I left my friends, the wine, the cold and the walk would prob make me need again.

Thanks for this - I agree, the longer the search goes on without results, the more I’m considering she was exited out of that road by car (either with someone she knows, or an abduction). Or possibly via waste disposal (ie if she was placed inside a large bin)? Presumably the police would be trying to check that avenue too.

I don’t know but assume as you indicate it’s partly a technical reason for them to be able to upscale the costs/resources involved.

I live on Cavendish Road - about 200 yds from the junction with Poynders. AR gardens was searched this afternoon. It’s a large patch of grass, kids playground, 2 all weather sports pitches, two small ponds which were searched today. It is meant to be locked at dusk - however I drove past just before 7 this evening and the gates were still open - there are gates either end - one on poynders road and one on Atkins road. My garden has been searched and they asked for doorbell footage this morning - mine doesn’t reach the pavement.

Horrible thought.
Do any locals know the day waste is collected in the area?

Fair idea - 50 min walk in the cold after some wine could strain the bladder. Come to that, I think suunday posted a pic of what looks like some public toilets nearer towards Kings Ave. Could she have disturbed some shady types near there who took an opportunity to mug/assault/worse?

Well, yes. Or no. So many people have been abducted/killed by being put into a van/car by one person. Most of them on this website are one person jobs!

All it takes is a bash over the back of the head, or chloroform to the mouth, or someone putting their hand over her mouth and dragging her off. A few seconds and it's done. In the dark, easier.

do people actually use chloroform? or is that just in the movies?

I wonder what they mean by "complex nature"?

I may be reading too much into the words but I can't help but think that the content of the phone call might be indicating something to the police that they aren't making public yet.

I know that the absence of any word from the partner might not be significant (as in Libby Squire's case) but it's quite unusual IMO

Not suggesting this makes any sense but there's someone walking alone at 23:10 just south of the McDonalds near the junction of Christchurch Road and Brixton Hill.
