I'm so curious about how he moved to the States. How was that financed? Does he have family still in Nigeria? Is there money there? Perhaps another wife? and mostly, how did he support himself? Because it sure wasn't on his Dell Tech Support wages or his vague and spotty work history. I think his work history is 99.95% BS anyway. I suspect his financials will reveal either some kind of fraud or something shady that involves his "hobbies".

Just an observation, but doesn't it look like he's gained quite a bit of weight when looking at his most recent pics and his mug shot? Medication of some sort? Trying to bulk up for his "modelling" career and steroids? He seems doughy compared to earlier pics.

Utah woman says she had uncomfortable date with murder suspect

(Video interview at link)

SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah woman who went on a date with Ayool Ajayi, the man accused of killing University of Utah student Mackenzie Lueck, says she ended it after one uncomfortable date.

“I met him on Bumble, the online dating app,” said the woman speaking with Fox 13 News on the condition of anonymity.

There have been several people on social media commenting that they met him or knew him at some point in the past. Most of them found him odd or creepy. After seeing these comments I’m thinking that this really was the first time ML had ever met him in person. It’s likely they had some kind of ongoing online relationship and she thought she “knew” him and trusted him. But in real life he turned out to be a monster.

Online relationships can be pretty intense and there are people that view them as very, very real. Look at all the people that have been taken advantage of by “romance scammers”. ML was a sweet, caring, and trusting person and AA convinced her that he was in love with her. She could have romanticized the relationship and let her guard down. He took advantage of her kind soul. :(

I just can't fathom that she had never met him in person b/f and went to meet him at 3am in a park. I believe they had some sort of relationship, whether it was business, an arrangement, etc. She had to have some sort of incentive to go to that park at 3am after her Grandmother's funeral. I think the Police know exactly why she met him that night. It would be in their texts back and forth that evening.

All I know is that when I was a 21 year old sorority girl, if anyone in my peer group was hanging out with or associated with a skeezy, old 35 year old dude, it was to buy drugs, back then just pot. And we know that her friends were acquaintances with AA also, and that $ had been exchanged from his Venmo public account payments.

A guy like AA would not have had access to hang out with all these young, beautiful college sorority girls if he didn't have something to offer.....and I don't think it was $$$ (Sugar Daddy theory). He drove an old Kia and lived in a tiny, modest house.

Reports: MacKenzie Lueck's alleged killer was banned from USU campus, accused of rape
SABBM:

According to records from Utah State University, Ajayi was banned from the campusin 2012 after a theft investigation.

He also appeared to be living in a janitor's closet and at various buildings around campus.

At one point, campus officials notified Ajayi that his visa had lapsed and that he was no longer eligible to take classes, the report states.

Documents from police about a 2014 investigation in North Logan showed Ajayi was accused of raping a woman.

IMO - there are others. And what did he actually do for a living?

IMO, a good defense lawyer will argue it is not premediated (edit - they must also show that KL OD'd or something similar)

If DA cites his sexual interest, the defense can cite his depression -(any reason they can think of or because he couldn't become a serviceman or a successful model)

Also, his burning of KL belongings can be argued as not premediated. It all depends on his lawyer and also on the evidence. This involves a 100K+ lawyer work. So a good lawyer will find something, IMO.

I understand what you are saying even though I respectfully disagree.

It doesn't matter if AA has a public defender or a million dollar attorney.

There is already way too much evidence against him already known showing this was a very organized well thoughtout premediatated murder plan. And the evidence is only going to get worse in the ongoing investigation.

Imo, frankly his jury won't give a flying flip about his depression. Millions suffer from depression, yet the vast majority dont harm anyone, and they certainly dont brutally murder a defenseless victim, and destroying her body where only tissue was left to identify her. The same goes for countless others who didnt pass muster unable to join the military. There are always a percentage that doesn't make the cut. They dont do what AA has done though.

It's not about him burning her personal belongings trying to get rid of the evidence that totally links him to her murder. What will matter most to the jury, IMO, is how he diabolically murdered her then burned her body up right in his own yard.

Sure the defense will come up with something. They always do no matter how ridiculous it is.

Imo no matter what rabbit they pull out of their hat this time will not work. It will defy all logic, and the evidence presented to the jury.

AA will be exposed for the monster he truly is.

Imo

We don’t know how he came to the states, but there is speculation that he was sponsored by the LDS community and came into the country on a student visa. He came to the US in July 2009 and was baptized Mormon in October 2009. It sounds like his “marriage” in 2011 was arranged so he could get his green card.

Big question about how he earned extra income. It sure looks like he was spending at a higher level than his tech support job.

I noticed the weight gain and puffiness and it could be related to alcoholism. IMO he was kind of cute when he was younger. Then a few years later the modeling pictures were a bit unsettling. Now he just looks all out creepy and all traces of attractiveness have disappeared. A progressive decline in his appearance. He also looks a lot older then 31.

Amazon removes novel written by Mackenzie Lueck murder suspect

Guess this means his riveting, and by riveting I mean, completely inarticulate, "novel" won't be making the NY Times Bestseller list any time soon.

Looks like all hopes of a Pulitzer Prize nomination for his literary masterpiece have been dashed, too.

Bummer.

I imagine this is just the tip of the iceberg!

That is the big question for me. How does an IT tech support specialist afford that house and all the renovations? He had to have another source of income. From what I can find employees in this industry in Utah make $30k-50k per year. Doesn’t add up.

It’s always “an accident.”

Juries typically don’t buy that.

No way will they buy that here. Not with likely evidence of premeditation, his efforts to deceive, and the horrific way he destroyed her body.
Yup. Aubrey Trail is saying they accidentally choked Sydney Loofe to death during erotic asphyxiation, then drained her blood, cut her into a dozen pieces, and tossed those pieces all over the county in garbage bags.

Some accident there!

He was baptized in October 2009, just three months after arriving in the US, which lends credence to the theory that he was sponsored by the LDC community.

Quite plausible. And per Occam's razor, it is the easiest explanation. And it is not CA, it is Utah where even coffee is considered a drug. And MJ is probably not that easy to obtain.

I think if a drug, it could have been something on the cusp of legality in CA and illegality in UT.

But it doesn't improve AA situation at all. A kidnapper and a killer vs a kidnapper, a killer and a drug dealer. In Utah...

- Rape Allegation
- Theft Investigation
- Clearly issues with military service as nobody can serve without BMT/Tech School
- Unknown large sources of income
- Stated education from UK school
- Removed from American campus due to VISA lapse
- Able to finance a woman and her four children for years

How the hell did this one slip through notice.

Friends of slain Utah student MacKenzie Lueck hold a vigil to remember how she loved tacos, yellow swimsuits and throwing parties for her cat
When MacKenzie Lueck threw a birthday party for her cat, she didn’t hold back.

“She even got champagne,” said her friend, KK.

“Oh my goodness. Do you remember the cake?” added KS. “She made it out of special cat food.”

All of Lueck’s closest friends were invited to celebrate Nova, a fluffy gray kitty whom she adored, as she turned another year older. They were asked to wear pointy party hats and throw confetti. And everyone sang off-key while Lueck unwrapped a new toy for the cat.

“Now, that’s one of my favorite memories of her,” KS added, trying to smile but wiping away tears as they carried mascara down her cheeks.

[...]

They shared stories of how Lueck loved to get tacos from street carts and always seemed to be raiding someone’s fridge for a snack. They talked about how she smiled so much after she got braces that it cut into her lips. They said she was bubbly and kind and always planning road trips to Lake Powell.

In front of them was a big picture of Lueck in a yellow swimsuit — bathing in the sun like she liked to do. And as the setting sun shone down on those mourning, they promised to honor her the best they could.

I see shades of Jesse Matthew's. Another heartless rapist turned murderer who wanted to become a serial killer.

I think we are going to see more, and more come out about AA.

Imo, his been dangerous for quite awhile.
