I was just thinking something similar to this. My friend just went through an ordeal where she met someone online and it became intimate. She just happen to look over as he left the room and his camera was on. He had been videotaping. I told her she should worry about what he is going to do with it. She said he erased it. I don’t believe him. Anyhow, I think this man goes around doing this and then profits from it. Maybe I just think the worst about this stuff. So, I can see how AA could be doing something similar.

Video taping and uploading live his crimes on TorBrowser could explain a cash flow that underpinned his daily expenses...renting a room out for $4o.00 a night in his house seems nothing more than a means to an end--a way to share voyeuristic video tape of unwitting guests with his deep web audience.

Every time I've been off the thread for more than 6 hours something new and even more disturbing pops up about AA and his online activities. I have zero doubt in my mind that more charges, probably federal ones, are coming for this . Is there any possibility of deportation back to Nigeria, even if symbolic?

Forgive me for my ignorance of this site but I came across something the other day that was buried unfathomably deep and inevitably led me to discover a name and online data for the subjects brother which has opened a monumentally large pool of data. I want to respect the site rules in totality so do not want to post it directly since it has names on it of others. Do I screenshot, edit out the other names or am I allowed to just post the data to be scoured through?

Note: This data was of course already sent to the PD (and feds) several days back.

Please advise proper site action.
Please PM a mod. MOO

Am I the only person that asks my screen when this happens, is did the interviewer ask her have you spoken to the police about this?

As a reader, that is what I want to know each and every time!

No it sure doesn’t add up. He had some other source of income. I bet his digital trail is leading LE to all kinds of things.

Was it ever reported that LE took possession of computer equipment? I assume they did.

i wonder if credit card debt will play into his financial records. lots of millennials are in credit card debt and i dont want to get off topic as there are some who are in debt for understandable reasons (general life expenses increasing like school) but also people who are comfortable with debt / use it as a way to obtain (or appear to obtain) a certain lifestyle...im in between AJ and Mackenzie's age and have been shocked by some financial choices friends/acquaintances have made. obviously he has a dark and sick twist to the lifestyle he was obtaining but nonetheless could acquire some credit, at least for awhile.

however, credit cards would only get him so far so i also agree well learn some other weird stuff.

And this is so disturbing! I just had a conversation with someone about this as we were staying in an expensive hotel. He suggested AirBnB, and went on and on about how wonderful it was. I'm sure most of the situations are perfectly fine, but my first thought was about concealed cameras!
And it is not only AirBnB rentals that are bugged by nefarious landlords...hotel employees have been known to rig up bathrooms in hotel rooms for clandestine viewing. Now, when I check into a hotel it is not just looking for the bed bugs...it is also checking for camera bugs in ceiling light fixtures, wall sockets, tv remotes, and whatever else can conceal an unwanted probing eye...

IMO, No. He's going to stand trial (unless there is a plea deal, of course) for Kenzie's murder and spend the rest of his life in a cage where he belongs. MOO

there are still folks who can't really come to terms with the idea that she knew him, despite all evidence. to believe this you have to assume that she would get into a car with a COMPLETE stranger at 3a without going home first. let's think for a second. you don't know anybody "online". the first meeting from online to real life usually is designed with "safety" in mind. I don't believe the meeting was to buy drugs.

as to why she is hanging out with an older man, the evidence suggests she was interested in older men, either for SD/SB or recreational purposes.

I just can't fathom that she had never met him in person b/f and went to meet him at 3am in a park. I believe they had some sort of relationship, whether it was business, an arrangement, etc. She had to have some sort of incentive to go to that park at 3am after her Grandmother's funeral. I think the Police know exactly why she met him that night. It would be in their texts back and forth that evening.

All I know is that when I was a 21 year old sorority girl, if anyone in my peer group was hanging out with or associated with a skeezy, old 35 year old dude, it was to buy drugs, back then just pot. And we know that her friends were acquaintances with AA also, and that $ had been exchanged from his Venmo public account payments.

A guy like AA would not have had access to hang out with all these young, beautiful college sorority girls if he didn't have something to offer.....and I don't think it was $$$ (Sugar Daddy theory). He drove an old Kia and lived in a tiny, modest house.

Not to get off topic, but your friend may wish to report that to LE. I believe this is a criminal offense. In any case it's a breach of trust and common decency.

And I'm sure LE is uncovering a lot of trails left by AA.

since we've learned AJ has been working on obtaining his college degree through his 20s (rather than the traditional 18-22 age range), i also think its possible AJ hung around and knew a younger crowd leading him and Mackenzie to meet under circumstances not even related to SD/SB. 31 is old but not that old -imo, its def weird to be hanging out with college students but all things considered, on its own, its not the craziest social dynamic.

With the details released so far, I have to disagree with your view.

In the future, with more evidence, it will change.

That's perfectly okay of course. No one here has to agree with anyone.

However, my opinion still stands.

I do agree with one point you have made here in your post.

Yes, as more evidence comes forward it will change.

It will be far worse for AA than it is even now.

More, and more is going to be exposed about this brutal murderer, and none of it will be good nor help him in any way. None of it, imo.

i agree. not unusual at all. it's not out of the ordinary at all. he probably rents his room to younger women and tries to make friends with them and infiltrate their social circles. he was essentially an online marketer of himself.

"In front of them was a big picture of Lueck in a yellow swimsuit — bathing in the sun like she liked to do. And as the setting sun shone down on those mourning, they promised to honor her the best they could."

So much for eye makeup today.
Hopefully, something life transforming and good will come out of Mackenzie losing her life. The fact that so many people treasured her friendship and company, along with the massive amount of people who didn't know personally but found her very likeable, and care about her--shows that one person can make a profound difference--changing aspects about society that need drastic improvement. I would like to see an ongoing dialog about the inherent danger of social media...how predators use it to their advantage, and how young people especially can protect themselves from becoming a victim. Perhaps new laws are needed, safeguard software put into phones, computers, and digital cameras, etc...

Utah State University banned the man who is accused of killing Mackenzie Lueck
[...]

The campus police reports also describe Ajayi, a Nigerian immigrant, as overstaying his visa and perhaps being homeless. When USU police booked Ajayi into the Cache County jail in 2012 on suspicion of misdemeanor theft, officers notified both Immigration and Customs Enforcement and a Nigerian consulate.

“This letter is to inform you that if you feel you need to visit our campus,” wrote Eric R. Olsen, the associate vice president for student services to Ajayi on Aug. 2, 2012, “you must first contact the Utah State University Police Department and have them escort you on and off campus. If you violate this mandate you will be cited for trespassing and will face additional legal consequences.”

While Ajayi was booked into jail on suspicion of theft, a search of Utah court records gives no indication he was charged.

[...]
It would be interesting to see the ICE report. As to why he was not deported.

That is the big question for me. How does an IT tech support specialist afford that house and all the renovations? He had to have another source of income. From what I can find employees in this industry in Utah make $30k-50k per year. Doesn’t add up.

His IT tech support specialist position is most likely an entry level position that pays minimum wage or a little above. I highly doubt it requires a certification or degree. He probably worked in a call center taking very basic calls and escalating the calls that required more than a simple fix.
IMO he has money coming from Nigeria or he's making money somewhere else.

Yes - a change I'd like to see is a change in attitude about online activities. Just because a young person is internet savvy and knows how to deftly navigate online and live life digitally doesn't mean that person is actually savvy.
