This is all that we have found. There was a reference to a George Zaglanitis having a phone somewhere in Ontario. The man is a phantom because I believe he uses a variety of names.

New York arrivals

Name: Vasilios Zaglanitis
Departure: Piraeus, Greece
Arrival: 29 May 1921 - New York, New York

Name: Antonios Zaglanitis
Birth: abt 1867
Departure: Naples, Italy
Arrival: 11 Oct 1906 - New York, New York
Residence: Lirigo

I don't know who she is.

1. The woman in red is dressed very differently than other passengers, she dances quite differently than other passengers and looks quite different ethnically (Mediterranean in the broadest sense of that word from North Africa, Levant etc.) she is dancing very close to Amy and what caught my eye is something 'unnatural' in her demeanour.

2. The elevator sequence: I am not as sure as others that Amy is ok at this point of the video. She seems to crash into the non-button side of the elevator (?) gropes to press it several times (?) stumbles (?) Tough to see though. If so there could have been an earlier attempt to drug her and she didn't drink enough or as an athlete she was too strong.

3. Find Amy I assume you think the reason the abduction was so late is that they were waiting till they were close to the port? If they wanted her so badly though it seems a bit dangerous to wait until this point.

4. The sightings in the Caribbean are very strange it would be much 'safer' to take her to South America proper not the holiday parts. IMO if she spent considerable time in the Caribbean it is VERY likely there is local knowledge of this.

5. I am wondering if local authorities in Curacao have not been alienated by the attitude of North Americans. I don't think Curacao has more of a role in human trafficking than many European countries or the US or Canada. If she was really in the Caribbean for months or years I think a gentler more truly local approach would work much better than the confrontational approach that law enforcement is corrupt there etc. (and yet that we shouldn't broach that of US authorities, as a possibility).

I will go out on a limb and say that if Amy is alive this has been the biggest obstacle to solving the case. You would need to recruit Caribbean people to do the spying and hear the gossip any DEA type approach simply will not work though people will appear to cooperate with you. But you will get nothing.

6. As for Mr. Z that is a very uncommon name it doesn't appear at all in Canada 411 though there does seem to be at least one family with that name around Toronto.

7. If Y is really hours away from helping to kidnap Amy during the dancing why "wine" with her he is the only one doing so - why recklessly draw attention to himself? Why dance with her at all? Possibility that Y may be absolutely innocent after all he didn't fail the lie detector test and I assume he agreed to take it BUT yes may know something.

8. I would try to find out something about the woman in red and her friend though I realize it may be impossible at this point.

This is probably not news, but Baxter's company is listed here along with Caribbean Sex Vacation AAV. The latter has the photo of Lexxxy toward the lower right side of the page. Clicking on it takes you to Alexis Club.

I found it while reading a warning about fake escort photos on this site.

Thank you for some great ideas.

Chris Fenwick's video was selective for a group of people. Chris is not a Royal Caribbean employee. He was on the cruise to create a special video for a specific group of passengers. Various people in the video may appear to be acting unusual because they knew their videographer was filming them. Chris was not filming Amy that night in the disco. She just happened to be in the disco while he was filming others from the group and she showed up on his tape. The unnatural demeanors were likely because of this.

Well, that photo is at least ten years old.

The film begins with a close-up of a man with a woman to his left camera right and the camera zooms out we see the dance floor and Amy dancing with Y.

I am interested in the woman dancing close to Amy in red looks like floral pattern full length red dress: the man in the zoom shot seems now to be watching woman in red and she seems to make eye contact with Y. when the shot freezes she is looking right at Y and Amy.

In the elevator shots woman in red is not present nor in the pool video.

In the later dancing scene not too many people are dancing but woman in red is dancing again with what seems to be the man in the first zoom shot.

Not sure how far apart the two sequences are in real time but in both Y and Amy are dancing adjacent to woman in red and the man from the zoom shot if it is him.

I have a question as to who she is and if it is not friend or family if she is watching Amy.

Missed this post earlier, but meant to ask the same thing- it jumped at me the way the woman appeared to look at A and yellow, dancing -of course it could have been someone taking note of a member of the band on the dance floor, but under the circumstances, perhaps something of note.

Was just reading a forum about identifying fake escort photos and four posters mentioned this site as being excellent. It's a reverse image search. Has this been tried yet?

TinEye is a reverse image search engine. You can submit an image to TinEye to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions.

TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks. It is free to use for non-commercial searching.

In the very last sequence as the woman in red is twirled around by her partner she comes within an inch of Amy and may touch her, say something to Amy or point to something - Amy with her partner Y behind her wining looks up to her right. Obscured by another couple but I would like to know what other people here see.

Again, she doesn't look quite right to me tough to see but her reflexes seem off compared to middle age women on the dance floor as an athlete how could that be?

I don't see why it is offensive to broach the possibility that she is drugged or drunk a bit especially if it might have been someone (already) slipping her something.

Is there more film from this videographer?

Alexisz has reported that he taught Hotel Management at B.C.I.T. in British Columbia, during the 1970s. Do any of the Canadians have access to any information? We did get some nice links a week or so ago, but we couldn't get anything about this reported professor.

The video was made for a select group of passengers. Maybe the woman was performing for the camera and Amy was in the way. Amy was not part of the group the video was being filmed for. Amy's appearance in that video was purely accidental. There is no more film. That video was prepared for a special group on the cruise.

I think TinEye is a great tool and have been using it a lot to search, but so far it hasn't returned anything useful. I think that the more time goes by, the more pages TinEye will have a chance to index. It's crazy the number of images it has already indexed though, but I've yet to find a match on anything we've been searching for regarding Amy.

Google Goggles (if you have a smart phone) is an app that I've also used to try to help identify pictures.

I have a stupid question. I know this has been answered, and I apologize for asking for clarification, but I just can't seem to find the answer in the thread.

What is the connection between Paul & Ana and Alexis & Zaglanitis?

Thanks!

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

Paul Baxter was the manager and later, a part owner of Affordable Adult Vacations on Margarita Island. Amy's photograph appeared on the website of this escort resort. He is from Leeds, England. His second wife is Ana, from Venezuela. Ana was in charge of finding the escorts. Paul and Ana have several children together.

Alexis is Zaglanitis. His full name is Georgios Alexandros Zaglanitis. He is Greek and a Canadian citizen. He goes by alexis and alexisz in the escort business. Alexisz was the owner of Affordable Adult Vacations when Amy's photograph appeared on their website. He reportedly has numerous families. The most current wife/mistress is/was Lexxxy, a Caribbean stripper. She runs the escort business since Alexisz had a heart attack. They have three sons together. Her photo is in the thread for documents. I covered the objectionable parts.

It would be better if someone would watch the video again the last sequence. She is not in anyone's way.

Sorry, am not sure why it is important that Amy was not part of the group the video was being filmed for. It is evidence of the night before her disappearance and precious, especially as we are lacking the surveillance video from the boat.

I guess the overall thing I am broaching is the possibility that Royal Caribbean were simply covering things over rather than involved in the disappearance. Ditto the band. If she was seen leaping from the deck I am sure they would have covered that up too. Y did not fail the lie detector test I think that is important.

IMO the timeline of her being taken this drink and hustled off the ship in just in the few minutes Dad dozes off is highly highly unlikely I mean what kind of plan is that? - if they have so many people in on it and they have the luxury of a timed cruise surely they can come up with a better plan.

Again if they are planning to kidnap Amy in Aruba why go to her parents to ask for her whereabouts how would that help? Why act so sleazy that Amy is turned off - we have multiple actors supposedly acting inappropriately and they are all in on the kidnapping?

I think the possibility needs to be broached that something else is at play and some of these sightings, suspicions, photos, are intended to muddy the waters.

(If the lady in red is part of the video group it would be interested to know if she talked to Amy and since she was dancing so close to her if she noticed anything then or later). And surely those passengers can be contacted to ask for photos or personal video since the videographer knows who they are. They may have witnessed something or have photos that are relevant. Have they been asked to provide whatever evidence they have?

I am getting interested in who this 'special group' was. I would have thought it was just a wedding or something.

Also no offence intended but a. the video seems very amateurish for a pro or semi-pro terrible angles etc. b. I am assuming that the video would have picked up other people besides Amy who were not part of the special group so is valuable. I have no idea who the special group is so cannot look at it in that light.

If someone was ask me to say what the effect of the video is I would have to say to provide evidence that Y was close to Amy before her disappearance. Because as is pointed out the purpose was not to film Amy so she could have danced with any number of people that night.

We have no way of knowing how this video has been edited, what was on it, what has been removed. It is possible that the film serves to make Y a suspect even though it is just a small bit of Amy's night.

Paul Baxter knows exactly where Affordable Adult Vacations got Amy's photograph.

Who is/was the webmaster for the site that had Amy's photos? You're right, FindAmy, Paul Baxter (on one of those ) knows where the photo came from. It didn't just magically appear on their site.

(snipped for space)

BBM: I have wondered if she wasn't drugged too - before her possible search for coffee the morning she went missing. I believe Amy had a bf back home, and her whole life lined up for when she returned, why would she be dancing with AD in that manner? It just didn't appear to be dancing with someone you just met...to me anyway. I'm not bashing Amy here. I know she's the victim and that is never my intention.

Thanks fo your help and your perceptions. I don't know who the woman in the red dress is. I do know that Amy's brother, Brad, was also in the disco with her.

I don't know who or what the group was. I do know that they weren't part of the group the Bradleys were with.

Both Baxter and Zaglanitis were posting information on the resort's website.

Amy was with her brother, Brad, the entire time she was in the disco. When Amy and Brad returned to the room, the two of them sat on the balcony and talked for a period of time. There wasn't any indication that Amy had been drugged. There wasn't any indication that she was drunk. Brad eventually went to bed.

We do believe that Amy was probably drugged in the coke or coffee Alister Douglas gave her the next morning at about 6:00 AM.
