Ron has mentioned something about Amy saying that she wanted to watch the cruise ship dock in Curacao. The ship was docking in the new cruise terminal instead of docking next to the streets in Otrobanda.

There is absoutely no way to prove this and it is just a theory, but I wonder if she had said something to Alister Douglas about watching the cruiseliner dock. I have wondered if Douglas told her that she could get a great vantage point from the open disco area in the upper deck. Is this why Amy was seen on that elevator at 5:45? Was she going up to the upper deck to watch the ship dock? To me, the timing would be exact. I wonder if Douglas was anticipating her arrival and the kidnapping plan was already set into motion. I really have to wonder if Amy just wanted to drink her morning coffee and watch a huge cruise ship dock in a terminal. She obviously wasn't planning to be gone very long, because she didn't even have her shoes. She was sitting on the balcony, so she would have known when to go to the upper deck to watch the docking procedure.

This is just a thought.

Yes you are correct that a person named Paul did answer the phone for Alexis when he was extremely ill. Actually near death on two occassions.

However absolutely nothing would be farther from the truth that Paul Baxter ever worked for Alexis. To be succinct they are avowed enemies. The fact is that Alexis objected strongly to Paul Baxter starting a better web site and destination. So it is Alexis that deserves the credit for the strong aversion.

So I restate that if you are an existing guest of either company please book your vacation with that company. If you are a new client then make a choice the result will be the same.

For guests of either company I do my best to make them feel comfortable. And that includes sometimes long esoteric discussions with very interesting guests. Every guest is very unique and I really do enjoy the conversations.

YES! I have had this exact same thought! A part of me feels like this whole thing hinges on info Amy innocently provided to Douglas.

She wouldn't have shared anything with the waiters b/c they gave her the skeeves. But, what did she innocently share with Douglas that set the wheels in motion?

FA, if you're not at liberty to share, just say the word -- since Brad was with Amy in the disco, did he happen to say what he heard Douglas and Amy talk about? Or did Douglas just sidle up to Amy on the dance floor and start dancing with her with no invitation/conversation?

This makes total sense to me. And it could explain why Amy didn't bother going to bed, but instead remained out on the deck after her brother went to sleep? If she already knew she was going to be watching the ship dock, and that it would be very early, why bother going to sleep?

I also keep coming back to how the pictures of Amy vanished. To me this above all suggests that the abduction was organised - as opposed to just being a 'crime of opportunity'.

I suppose it's also possible that the pictures were removed so that once her family knew Amy had been taken, there would be a delay in their being able to show her photograph around Curacao - they wouldn't be able to simply get the pics taken on the ship as the 'best recent photo', as the pics had been removed.


Somebody queried 'why' Amy might be 'dancing that way' with Alister Douglas? I don't think it's relevant. She was a young woman, on holiday, she knew her brother was also at the disco so she probably felt safe enough to relax and have a good time dancing. She may also have felt flattered at the attention - which is just human nature.

Today we lay bare the shocking secrets of the five-star Hibiscus Hotel that has cheating British husbands packing their clubs, deserting their golf-widow wives and jetting to the Caribbean to play a round in the sun.

And within moments of checking in, the truth was out.

Ex-pit manager Baxter admitted to our undercover team that he's now in an even muckier business. "This place is about five-star sex, sex, sex!" he bragged.

With a wicked grin he then paraded his harem of 15 stunning vice girls in front of new guests and declared: "Take your pick. She's yours 24 hours a day!"

After long transatlantic flights, most of the weary golfers perked up and thought they'd landed on the fairway to heaven—and not a bit of rough in sight.

When our men said they fancied playing a few holes on the course, Baxter offered FOUR girls to accompany them as caddies.

One leggy blonde purred as she removed her skimpy bikini then tried a little stroke play on another girl up against the buggy.

As he ogled the action Baxter (right) schmoozed: "How many hotels can give you this sort of service? Lads tell the wife they're on a golf break with their mates and it's the perfect cover. You're hardly going to think your hubby's cheating on you when he takes his clubs away with him.

"And we have very discreet ways of making sure no one is embarrassed. Everything appears to be completely above board on all the credit card slips.

"Guys can play 18 holes with their pals and then sleep with the most beautiful women in the world.

"It's the ultimate lads' holiday—just as long as the wife doesn't find out!"

Back at the hotel the guests were taking full advantage of the steamy extras on offer.

Married businessman Richard, 46, was strutting around with a slender breathtaking blonde in a barely-there bikini.

He told us: "My wife would have my business if she knew." Richard's hands were wandering everywhere as he waltzed his new buddy off for an afternoon session in bed and chirped: "This place is amazing!"

Another guest called Steve, 55, flicked thinning white locks from his eyes to check out his 26-year-old girl, named Eimar.

"Tasty," murmured the tubby estate agent as he greedily eyed up every inch of the fake-boobed blonde.

"This place brings a whole new meaning to the term all-inclusive."

Clients are free to swap escorts for a different model any time and extra girls can be rented for £133 a day.

Baxter told our men: "Stay with one girl then hire another one and get them in the same room working on each other.

"You can take pictures if you want andyou can even put them on the internet. You could make money out of it—just give the girls 10 per cent!"

Baxter then revealed how his 28-year-old Venezuelan wife, Anna, was his main recruiter of the hotel's crackers from Caracas.

"She finds the girls on the mainland," he said. "They're basically beautiful hookers who'd otherwise be working on the streets.

"Here they get treated well. They have the same accommodation, food and drinks as the customers.

"And the men have respect for them, which is more than you can say for the average local guy."

Pointing to a 6ft 4in muscle-bound Austrian, Baxter added: "But we've got Gunther here to make sure there are no problems."

Gunther has ambitions to run his own place but for now is the ideal enforcer. "You wouldn't argue with him, would you!" laughed Baxter.

Most of his girls speak no English —although they are completly fluent in body language.

Translators ars laid on to help guests communicate but most manage simply by using their hands. Until 2003 the Hibiscus had traded for 11 years as a standard resort catering for families in search of sun, sea and sand.

Then boss Baxter bought the place and added the fourth ‘s' — sex. Now he lures punters on his lust-packed holidays through a company called Total Satisfaction on the internet.

"Everything is possible at your tropical paradise," teases the advertising message.

An office in Durham handles his bookings.

"I've got 76 booked in for next month already," boasted Baxter. "And 80 per cent of them will be back within a year, guaranteed."

He bragged the operation is so successful that rival enterprises are springing up.

"We have two main rivals but they're not a patch on us," he insisted. This is the gold-plated version. Put it this way, it's not like going off and finding a hooker in Paddington."

No, but then it's not the sort of golf experience that will get you on the leaderboard in Augusta today either!

Apart from sports did Amy belong to a sorority? Also did she belong to Princeps or Chi?
 
During the party, Amy and I went to the 4th deck to look at the photos that had been taken after dinner that evening. ALL of Amy&#8217;s photos were missing! We asked the person in charge of the gallery where Amy&#8217;s pictures would be posted. He said he remembered placing them with the other photos taken at the same time, but acknowledged he couldn&#8217;t find them either. I asked him if he could have them redeveloped and he agreed, claiming they would be available the next day. In my possession, I still have the ticket for the redevelopment of those photos.

Looked through Vanished again.

1. Although Tim B. did well to uncover the fraudulent investigator (though shouldn't it have been possible from the family to do background on him from the U.S.? ) I cannot emphasize enough how counterproductive it is to go swaggering through the streets of Curacao asking in English at a lad relaxing on the street saying "have you seen this person". Not everybody will believe he is a private investigator he could be anything from their point of view.

Look I understand her Mom's passionate hope and I see she is impressed that Tim B. can supposedly drop down on Curacao and say in English "ok where is the criminal element?" but that is the opposite of the right method IMO.

For a small amount of money say 50,00 a year max. they could have got someone who say is learning Papiementu (or knows it and is doing some other kind of research) to live there for a year or two, rent a room or live in a guesthouse go to bars (important people drink and tongues relax) someone who can move between the different communities there. It is important to be able to talk to people in Papiementu! Side-trips to Barbados (need English) , Venezuela (need Spanish of course) and Aruba easy to do from there though flights inter-Caribbean not cheap.

Not too late. If money by now is an issue if you can find someone already there on that basis you might be able to persuade them to do it for free or close to free.

2. I take note of Amy's disinclination to go on the trip and in one photo at the beginning of the trip she looks troubled and unhappy IMO. Is it really only because of the scary railings? She does look quite happy and untroubled in some of the later photos. (Forget the notion that any of us know everything in the hearts minds and lives of our children).

3. It is interesting that she did not sleep at all the father simply found her relaxing on the balcony was it common for her to go sleepless I assume she was planning to go into town that day?

4. I think it is necessary to depathologize the idea of alcohol and drugs I know I said this before but want to emphasize. I really think the video of the videographer needs to be looked at again and again including by people here on WS. What do you see?

5. Y's words to the brother in the morning. Yes, interesting but I do not think it likely that only security and the captain would have known about Amy's disappearance at that point. It is odd that he is not asking how he can help but he could already have been ordered to keep things quiet. Actually to say "sorry to hear about your sister" suggests that he thinks she is dead i.e. that he might have been told and believed the "over the rail" theory.

How many young people were on this cruise?
Was it random or planned?
Why would Amy Bradley be singled out?

Oh and BTW someone mentioned not asking questions?

I suggested one possible reason on the previous page :)
 
It's baffling to me that people still bring up the "overboard" thing ...

It's obvious and evident that this is a missing persons case , with verified sightings , photographic evidence , and a connection to "shady" buisnessmen in a "shady" buisness.

If Amy went overboard , the FBI would not have an active ongoing investigation complete with suspect sketches / photographs .

There is apparently things the public doesn't know , but it is beyond evident given what we know that this young girl was kidnapped.

Discussing an "overboard coverup" makes NO SENSE when you factor in missing photographs from the cruise ship , the verified sightings , the connections , and ... actuall photographs of the person.

If someone fell overboard , and died ... I don't think aged pictures of the person in a a disturbing fashion , alive , on a bed -- would be possible if the person died years earlier.

The overboard theories are just taking away from what needs to be looked into.

Amy Lynn Bradley did not fall over the railings of the ship.
