I don't see how it can be cutbacks as to the reason why Amy, Robyn and Natalee aren't on the FBI page anymore since others are still on there...adults who went missing prior to Amy.

For example: JANE MCDONALD-CRONE - November 14, 1993 She was 34 at the time she went missing and is still listed.

Could this be because they weren't on American soil when they went missing? At first I thought so until I saw DANA RISHPY who's on there. She's a dual citizen of Israel and Germany who went missing in Mexico.

The sketch, however, which I believe was from the San Francisco or Barbados sighting, is downright eerie.

Funny you say that because IMO the artist sketch of the mystery woman in Barbados looks pretty much almost identical to ''Jas'' But you are right, the sketch is so reminiscent of Amy it is bone chilling.

but did she have long hair years before she went missing?

Here is Amy with long hair.

Does anyone remember if we asked Carl from the IUD forum to weigh in on tge picture of Amy? I am ashamed to say I can't remember and it probably would have been me who asked him.

Yes wondergirl and he couldn't say with certainty (in his opinion) that jas was her. Sorry I don't have any quotes but I recently re-read all of the posts and remember that

Saw a re-run of the show Vanished about Amy Bradley.
Amy just turned 40 on May 12th, 2014.
I'd say-if she is still alive-she will be recruited to head and recruit other women as "escorts" and as 40 is considered "old" for being an escort by sex traffickers-she may be moved into other areas of the sex traffick trade.
We are praying she hasn't.."outlived her usefulness" to those who abducted her. Nothing at all has been seen or heard about Amy since 2005. A long time.!
She may be found on other type of sex traffick/escort sites..ie; women seeking women, etc;. Horrible to think this way-but one must.
It would be great if a "client" would come forward and said he saw her or had dealings with her, but of course, that is such a long shot as most would never admit to being "a client".
Why can't the FBI find her? If she were the daughter of some very important and wealthy offical-you'd bet she would be found!
Likely, she has not escaped because of constant monitering and intimidation, and threats of death. She likely now has the Stockholm Syndrome, where you do what your captors say-and even seem to be a part of them-just to suvive.!!
This is so incredibly sad, and so many people who spotted her and talked to her-didn't go that extra mile to help her and report immediately(and even follow where she and captors went), what they saw and what she said.
She likely-if alive, has given up hope.
Prayers every day for Amy and family.!

I'm not sure what the policy on posting links here is but if you go to the sub 'UnresolvedMysteries' or just search under Amy Bradley you should find the discussion.

Maybe AB was married off to a powerful man?
" Someone saw her, wanted her, and took her" to paraphrase a comment made by Mrs. Bradley.
Maybe A is completely controlled not just by a" husband," but, by a country where that is legal ?

Yes dotr, have speculated on this possibility myself. It's not impossible, imo.

Ooops - sorry. If you're new to reddit, it is composed of thousands of 'sub-reddits' which are online communities for any subject you can imagine. The UnresolvedMystery sub-reddit is where the Amy Bradley discussion is taking place.

Since the VI won't be posting here, that looks like the best place to go at the moment for information from him/her.

'FindAmy' has previously expressed his/her disappointment in the way Vanished had portrayed her story, FindAmy also said she/he was horrified when Judy talked about how a ''deal'' was going through in the Barbados sighting in 2005, that was apparently very classified information that was not supposed to be shown to the public. He/she also was upset with the whole sex slavery aspect. He/she claims Amy was NOT abducted for sex trafficking but however being trafficked in another extremely illegal profession. This gives me much more hope Amy is still out there, cause if she was just being used as a prostitute Amy would most likely outlived her ''usefulness'' to the traffickers or contracted HIV or a disease. If Amy is still alive i too feel she has since given up hope, she would most probably have Stockholm syndrome by now and have bonded with her captors and adjusted to the situation. After all in the 2005 encounter in Barbados, Amy only gave her first name. However with her mentioning she's from Virginia she obviously still remembers where she came from.

Yes, i also wonder if Amy could have been sold by now as a ''wife'' perhaps to a very wealthy man in another country. In fact this does happen, i remember on an episode of ''America's Next Top Model'' where a contestant Analeigh Tipton, (who is now a famous actress) confided to Tyra she was approached by a 'recruiter' in the United States that claimed she was representing a ''modeling agency'' and later got her to go out to dinner to meet all these men, there were also a prince there. She then began getting phone calls from the woman saying he wanted her to come Saudi Arabia with him to make her his wife. Thankfully she got out of it before the deal was finalized. Very scary. FindAmy also stated Amy has in fact been seen looking healthy and sometimes very well dressed. Could someone be taking care of her? And if she does have a husband she might also have a child. Which would of course make it even harder to leave.

This brought to mind what else was overheard by Judy in Barbados, Amy said something about going to see the children. So, could she have been speaking of her own children? As you say, if she has a family of her own, what better way to keep her from wanting to escape and return home.

the only quote i can find directly addressing the dinner pictures:

"During the party, Amy and I went to the 4th deck to look at the photos that had been taken after dinner that evening. ALL of Amy’s photos were missing! We asked the person in charge of the gallery where Amy’s pictures would be posted. He said he remembered placing them with the other photos taken at the same time, but acknowledged he couldn’t find them either. I asked him if he could have them redeveloped and he agreed, claiming they would be available the next day. In my possession, I still have the ticket for the redevelopment of those photos."

i still believe the scenario only looks weird in hindsight. the employee, during a busy party, couldn't immediately find her pictures but agreed to make copies. this was before amy went missing as amy was with her mother during this interaction. her mother never went back to get the reprints.

Its been awhile since I have read this thread.
I was wondering... when Amy went missing, immediately after Amy went missing.. did anyone contact the photographer about the missing prints?

i brought up falling or being pushed overboard as a way of starting over from scratch and working our way towards what happened without making assumptions. one big assumption we've made is that these sightings are definite proof of ab. maybe they are, but thousands of people see ufos and elvis every year so maybe it's worthing taking a second look at what witnesses saw and most importantly, to me, when they reported what they saw. someone reporting three years later, after seeing two or three show about her, doesn't stand up very strongly for me.

that said, starting at the beginning and asking questions about assumptions is the smart way to go. two of my first questions were a) how do we know how far off shore the ship was when she went missing? and b) how do we know she could have swam to shore in any case (height of ship, etc)?

those seem like two really huge assumptions that everyone has taken as fact. the "there's no evidence" is a weak argument - she's been missing for sixteen years and none of the supposed evidence has found her, so it's a choice to either continue to rehash the exact same arguments or try to look at things a different way. i'm going to try to look at things from a different angle.

BBM

This has always been a big question mark for me.

Witnesses saw Amy after 6:00 am with Yellow the band . So if she fell over it wasn't from her balcony. She was abducted for sure.

Yellow's turned in to a religious freak. Posts on FB about how to recover and be forgiven from a bad decision. Sounds like he has remorse. IMHO he knows more about what happened

It appears he has become a Christian (though one can never be sure of someone else's faith just from a Facebook page). Speaking as a born again Christian myself, it's my sincere hope that, if he's truly legit in his faith, that he does feel remorse over his involvement and will eventually become convicted enough to come forward.

On the other board. FA has stated that there have been sightings since 2005, but that s/he cannot disclose them publicly. Also, she feels there is enough information to make several arrests in this case, but the FBI do not agree.

I still wonder why Interpol have her photo up but not the FBI.

Ron says, "We have reason to believe that Amy was kidnapped and possibly sold into the sex slave market somewhere on one of the Islands. We have gotten thousands of leads since this happened. One of the best leads that we had came from David Carmichael."

http://www.amybradley.net/updates.htm#nov1705

It seems as if in 2005, Ron believed she had been sold into the sex industry
