I do agree that I do not think there is any way Sam will come out of this alive. "Jesus made me do it" was bad, but you cannot viciously murder a preacher, a professor, and two teen girls in Virginia and ever expect to live. There is just no way. I don't know how he can really get a "fair" trial here. This crime has shaken everybody up really bad and people around here are screaming for his head. I would think there must have to be a change on venue to another part of the state.

He is going down. One thing I saw is that his Lawyers firm partner went to Hampden Sydney College. Check where that college is.

I think the whole story of Shrim's mom makes too much sense (the names, dates, location etc) for it not to be him. Wow, def. an amazing new twist. As if this story couldn't get any more addicting!

It is interesting to me that Shrim would be so fascinated by horrible things when his own mom died a violent death. Then, when this murder happens, he seemed so offended and upset by it. You think he would have been sympathetic to people who died that way as he suffered loss first hand from it. Just odd I think, but again I have no idea how I would react if I grew up w/out my mom and knew she died like that. Mabye he blamed her for it b/c someone said it was meth related? Gosh, I didn't even know they had meth 20 years ago.

Didn't someone say that they thought Emma and Shrim had hooked up at the concert? I could def. see that happening. She was a young and beautiful groupie really and he was the main event at the show. (Those pictures of those young girls w/ SKR/Stitchmouth written on them upset me-they look about 14. I have a daughter-ugh I shudder to think!!!) Emma worshipped SKR. I remember someone hypothesizing that Razekal got mad and told Sam to kill her. However, I do think this is unlikely b/c Sam had his own issues w/ Emma (I am convinced that she and Melanie prob were sick of him and made him feel uncomfortable on the ride home and while he was in Farmville). Which leads him to feel like an outcast again...something makes him snap...well I'm rambling but I think all the time as to what made him finally pick up that hammer...

I do think Shrim and Razekel should have gotten a lawyer right away, but I doubt they have. Lawyers are expensive, and I hate to say it but neither of them seems like the brightest star in the sky. I am really wondering if they will play at all into the trial, if they have evidence etc. or will find some that shows they knew somthing/were involved.

And the only other rumor I have heard from my cousin who is a cop where I live, who knows a cop in Farmville is that yes, there were Satanic things in the house. I don't know if that means symbols on walls/bodies etc. but the first responders are all apparently in therapy.

Also, I do hate to say this, but the Farmville Police Dept. has never had a very good reputation. And they do seemed like the dropped the ball a few times on this case, or they at least didn't come out looking too good. At least when I was in school there, there was major friction between the students and the cops, b/c they started arresting students (who were over 21 mind you) who were walking somewhere-not driving, or even acting drunk, for drunk in publics. They finally had to cut it out b/c the parents/school were so sick of it, I mean if you are over 21 and you wnat to go to another party, isn't it better to walk? Parents were threatening to sue the town etc. b/c it was so ridiculous. I was arrested one night for one such instance and spent the night in the Piedmont Jail where Sam now lives, and paid a $50 fine. NOT a nice place! Anyways, not too relavent but there you go

"She's a very strong woman," Shirm said of her older sister, who has also survived a bout with cancer two years ago and the heartbreak of the unsolved killing of their younger sister, Jennifer Lynn Shirm, in 1985.

The 22-year-old mother of an infant son was found bludgeoned to death under brush off East Central Avenue.

The case went unsolved for 15 years until 2000, when a revitalized investigation by the Albuquerque police Cold Case Unit led to the arrest of convicted methamphetamine dealer Alex Eugene Murray.

The case collapsed, however, when DNA evidence could not conclusively link Murray to the killing. Murder charges were later dropped.

Shirm said Webb and other members of their family have worked for many years at the grocery store. Their mother, Mary Louise Shirm, worked there for 20 years, she said.

The tips gave variations of a similar story: Murray was Shirm's ex-boyfriend and had killed the 22-year-old woman because he believed she stole about $3,000 worth of methamphetamines.

Jennifer Lynn had been a beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed girl whose life was derailed by a childhood molestation.

At 22, she was the mother of a 1-year-old son and trying to get her life back on track. Before she could, however, she was beaten in the head with a blunt object and her body tossed under brush on Monte Largo Drive Northeast off Central Avenue.

She was a 22-year-old blond beauty whose life had been blown off course when she could not escape the pain and publicity of being molested as a child by Bernalillo County sheriff's Deputy Frank Turkal, a man she sent to prison with her brave testimony.

She had fallen into a world of drugs and danger and a man named Murray. But her family says the birth of a son gave her new meaning, new dreams, another chance.

Shirm never fulfilled that chance. Her battered body was found tossed under brush on Monte Largo Drive off Central Avenue Northeast.

Well a number of people were concerned about her continued posting here while she was embroiled in a child custody dispute including me. I guess maybe that scared her off...
