I think it more likely that Hannah left and got into a car with the man in the video with his arm around her. Explains why the bloodhound picked up her scent in a parking garage.

Also someone who is accustomed to walking, could conceivably become lost fairly easily in a car, which had plenty of time to be near the vicinity of 14th and Wertland at 1:20 am.
do you have a link to the video you referred to (the one with the man with his arm around her)?

You see, I have always thought that these groups use guys like Randy Allen Taylor as part of the set up to get these girls away to a place where they can then overpower the girl. The ones that fight back end up dead and others end up captive and being moved from city to city and cheap motel to cheap motel. I believe, this happened to MH, to AM and now to HG.

I know I am in the minority here but I live in a large urban area and have close relations to Richmond, VA and this is happening up and down I95 and interstates from east to west as well.

Question for the ladies: Do you find it odd that Hannah is not carrying a purse of any kind?

One thing that really strikes me is IF Hannah was lost....looking for someone.....or attempting to meet up with friends.......wouldn't she be on her cell phone? In all the videos to date we never see her use her phone once. She's just walking, walking, running, walking. I watch these videos and I just keep yelling at the screen...."Hannah.....get...on...the...phone."

Another thought: The text message....'Lost at 14th & Wertland".........could this be a response text from someone who found Hannah's phone at that location after the abductor tossed it from his car?

Several different articles this morning are saying that the black guy she was talking to is NOT on the videos that were released, so I think all this looking we're doing is probably moot.

No, I don't find it odd that she isn't carrying much of anything for a night of partying. All you'd want is your phone, your key to get back into your apartment, and maybe a credit card or cash if you think you might wind up at a place where you had to pay -- but at a house party, I might not even take that. I might not take ID. Well, adult me would, now, but when I was her age, I didn't. She doesn't look like the kind of girly girl who would want to redo her makeup.

Yep. Not buying it. You notice she may be in trouble, then allow another guy to escort her away without question? Not consistent.

Definitely not consistent. Doesn't make any sense. Standing around looking for a young woman who might need help? Sketchy.

Where is her ID, cash, debit card? I can see stuffing some cash in her bra, but all of her clothes are form fitting. I don't see anyplace to carry these items.

Was recently asked if odd that she did not have a purse on her, I do not think it's odd. I'm in my late 20's and was recently in college. Oftentimes do not carry a purse especially if going to big parties. You can get an ID/debit card/phone all in your back pocket or tucked in your bra to avoid needing a purse.

I want to mention that I do believe at one point in college I was ruffied. I am a big fan of a certain Chicago baseball team. Had gone to a World Series game a few years ago. Came back to school in Ohio to watch a later game in the series. Was out with friends and had 1 tall beer (not enough to get barely buzzed). Went to other side of restaurant, to get a bar seat, came back to get my stuff where I left it and drank the last 2 oz of my beer. Sat at the bar and continued to get angry, while barely drinking anymore. My team was winning and my friends were asking if I was excited, I was angry, and mean to them. I told them I wanted to leave, not watch the end of the game, and they walked me back to my room. I don't remember ANY of this. Woke up the next day, fully clothed, in my room with lights on, no clue how/when I got home. Luckily I had friends with me. It's possible this is the type of inebriated Hannah was. Not drunk, per say, but totally not herself and not aware of what was happening.

^^THIS. I was about to post the same thing. That was my understanding as well?

"Human trafficking is an emerging public safety threat across our nation, including here in Virginia. Trafficked victims don't come from any one place. They come from large cities, small towns, different socioeconomic situations and diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. As Attorney General, combating human trafficking will be a priority in my office and I will work with the General Assembly, law enforcement and prosecutors to eradicate it in Virginia." -Attorney General Mark R. I don't find it too odd about the lack of the purse. Been over 20 years since I was in college but we always just tucked ID and a key in our pocket ... no purse. And nowadays I think their ID can serve as a key (for on campus housing anyway ... like a hotel key).

What does concern me is if the ID she had on her is really hers. A fake ID has been mentioned before on this site and I would at least consider that she could have only had a fake ID in her possession and nothing that has her real name on it.

I had hope maybe she had just gotten lost and was sleeping it off, recovering somewhere. After seeing these videos, I now fear the worst. She may be intoxicated by alcohol and other drugs, knowingly or unknowingly but I do not believe it could be "rufies" or GHB. Usually with GHB people complain of a paralysis and perhaps mild memories of something bad happening and being unable to move or respond followed by more amnesia. She is still walking pretty well and some distance from the party even if she is distressed and/or intoxicated.

I don't think it is odd at all. When I was in college all I carried was my student ID and the key to my room/apt. At that time, I kept mine on a lanyard.

Now when I go out to a party/bar. I will physically take my DL, credit or debit card and a little cash and usually put it in the right front side of my pants if I don't have pockets. (However, more recently I have seen young college age girls use their bras). I usually don't even take my cell in. Oh and I leave the keys with the hubby.

There is no way this was sorority related. Just wanted to throw that out there. For one thing sorority's are under constant scrutiny from their national charters and the schools for any kind of activity they deem hazing-includes things way more benign than this. There is absolutely no way they made her run around town by herself at night. I can't imagine even a hardcore sorority with lax rules would put their girls in that kind of stupid danger. There would have been more girls doing it too. Besides, was she even pledging? These days pledging sorority means getting a bunch of gifts from your big sister etc anyways. Trust me I know sororities. I am still involved on the alumni side of mine. We used to do some "hazing" but it was all fun, nothing degrading and dangerous. Now with the worries about lawsuits they won't even allow pledges to have interview talks with sisters or keep a pledge book.

Again I know for sure this wasn't about her sorority, not only does it make no sense, but the police would have released that info by now or someone would have leaked that info.

I hate to say this but Hannah is most likely deceased. I do hope they find her quickly for the families sake and so they can gather more evidence. It is very bothersome to me that Samantha and Alexis's bodies were never found, and Morgan's wasn't for some time. How can you hide a body like that? It is so hard to think that there isn't at least 1 connection here. Charlottesville isn't a huge place. I know Randy Allen Taylor is in jail and he most likely killed Samantha too, but this is making me question that as well. The evidence was definetely there for them to convict him of Alexis, but still it is awfully coincidental.

I feel in my heart there is at least a connection with Morgan.

FYI-my cousin lives in Rocky Mount and I asked her about Heather Hodges (listed on the map as missing). They are fairly sure that her boyfriend killed her, but don't have enough evidence for a conviction. He was the last one with her and also had a history of domestic violence with her and had attacked her mother too. I would probably take her off the list b/c the chances he killed her are very high.

BBM This is what I've been trying to say. Thank you for clarifying it better than I could.

I think the videos and the people in them with her are the focus and will lead to her being found. The image of her running has just affected me. Can anyone tell me if in that video from the gas station where she is running, is that a cement knee wall with a bank going up a hill? Wooded? Or just a a wall?

I am so worried about this young woman. I know the chances are high that she is deceased, but I'm still praying that she is found alive. Just the mama in me. :)

My 17-year-old daughter never carries a purse. If she carries anything it would be a larger case for her phone where she could put her license and some money. It looks to me on the video that she's carrying her phone in her hand, and I think this is what most girls her age do.
