Apparently dreads from the video IS the guy and Mooney confirmed he was in both videos the second with his arm around Hannah as several of us contended.

Further, he was with Hannah at the Tempo and left with her in their opinion accordingly.

A neighbor at dreads apartment said he is a big guy (200 plus) with dreads and the same car as witnessed.

I just really wish I could understand what she was thinking going into a bar with him (presumably willingly)? Was she THAT drunk? or maybe quietly coerced?

It seems like it yet her friends said she never went there. Why on earth was she there? That is a big question. She certainly did not hang out there enough to know the regulars, unless she had a secret life.

charlottesville's pretty confusing, especially on foot. the street grid makes no sense sober, much less after a few beers. if she lived on the far end of campus first year, and was only a few weeks into living on campus, i can understand how she got so turned around.

I partied and "experimented" quite a bit in college. Lots of people did not know, but my college buddies? They knew. and I don't think many people, especially young females, go looking for drugs on their own, at that age in those circumstances, it really makes little sense to think she goes off on her own to party it up - which is normally quite a social event, not a one person hobby. IMHO.

From Coy Barefoot's Twitter:

In span of 48 hrs last wkend, Cville saw 2 sexual assaults blocks frm each other, 1 beaten and left for dead- AND #HannahGraham disappeared

... confirmed 3rd assault took place last wknd: young man nearly beaten to death 13th st. near the (cont'd)
UVA Corner and blocks from other 2 sexual assaults that took place same wknd- this man was beaten approx 130a same night Hannah dissapeared

Forgive me, I don't know where "UVA Corner" is, but was this 13th St NW, like a block from where Hannah said she was when she texted she was lost, and at around the same time on the same morning? I realize Hannah's text may not have been accurate, but the timing is interesting. Have details of that case been released?

Li-mom - the only issue I see with your theory is that the video shows that he notices her first. They are walking in opposite directions, he sees her, turns around and begins to follow behind her. If she was looking for him and he didn't know it that would be some crazy coincidence (unless they were in contact/texting, but I think not since LE stated they felt HG did not know him).

Unless she had prearranged to meet him somewhere and was heading there, but he started walking towards where he thought she would come from, caught her out of the corner of his eye, turned around and then jogged to catch up. In the clear video posted on the next page you can really see him booting it to get around that group of guys.

I cant keep up!! lol Ive spent pretty much all day reading the last few threads, finally up to the current one! I was just thinking surely by this time her alcohol would have worn off enough to know she isnt drunk and out of it? Unless its just me even if ive been drinking for hours, if i stop for a little while i already start to sober up. Especially if she is running outside in the fresh air and all around town for what seems like over a hour. its not like shes stopping to have another drink. She would have to have taken some sort of drug either willingly or against her will in a drink to still be "lost" and appearing drunk. God knows why she would agree to get into a car with some older guy she didnt know is beyond me. Surely she is smart enough to know not to. She would have to have at least been familiar with him. If they are buying take away alcohol then she would know she was going back to his place. its not like some stranger would be like sure i will buy you all this alcohol then drop you back at your party. Its just odd.

There are a lot of things we don't know, including the texts Hannah got from her friends, but we know she said she was going home, and she texted that she was lost.

I've been trying to make sense of the things we do know, and the video of Hannah walking all over seeming to be on a quest.

I have a theory that might fit what we know so far.

Hannah was dabbling in recreational drugs, but her friends did not know. Friendly Neighborhood Dreadlocks guy is a dealer. Hannah knows this, and may have bought from him in the past, so while she doesn't really know him, she kind of knows him.

Hannah leaves the party telling friends she's going home, but secretly wants to visit Friendly Neighborhood Druglocks guy first. She's a bit drunk, but knows his usual hang out spots. Thats's why she walks all over, she's looking for him. Maybe he hangs out at McGrady's Pub so she stops there. She looks on the patio but he's not there. She tries to go inside but is turned away because she's underage. She keeps on her quest, sobering up along the way. She realizes it's getting late and she has to get home so she appears a little frantic.

She heads to the mall, another hang out of Friendly Neighborhood Druglocks guy and begins to walk from one end to the other moving fast. Eventually she meets up with him, somewhere off camera. They enter Tempo, he has a drink, maybe she uses the bathroom. She tells him what she wants, and that she's been looking all over for him and has to get home, her friends are asking where she is. He tells her he doesn't keep it on him, so he can't get busted, but he has it in his car if she wants to walk over there with him. She thinks that sounds logical, so she goes with him. They walk to the car fast, because she's in a rush to get home. Maybe she tells him she told her friends she was lost to buy herself some time and an excuse as to where she was. Or maybe he suggests that she tell her friends that to use as an excuse for the time she was gone.

They get to the car and he seizes upon an opportunity. She has money, a phone and jewelry, and is young and attractive. Her friends think she's lost and might not expect her home soon. Maybe he cold *advertiser censored* her and puts her in the car and drives away. What happened after that I don't even want to think about.

I'm just speculating, trying to connect the dots. Maybe FND guy told her he was all out but had more at his house, if she wants he can take her there and then drive her home since she's in a hurry, so she got in the car with him.

I don't know, obviously, but it seems more believable than Hannah aimlessly wandering around (at a fast pace) and then leaving the mall with a complete stranger who has his arm on her waist or shoulder.

Totally agree with this post. Otherwise nothing about her behavior that night makes any sense whatsoever.

I really don't think it's that far fetched that this was the person she had been looking for in her trek around the town. I said this last night and I feel the same way today. It seems pretty clear, at least to me, that she was "on a mission". She was looking for something/someone. Then we are surprised when this guy comes up, puts his arm around her, they go into Tempo, and she leaves with him? Should not be surprised, IMO. The fact he was walking the opposite way at the courtyard, cuts over and catches up with her only solidifies it more in my mind that they were in contact (text?) and planned to meet up there. Just my opinion, of course.

Right but wouldn't there be some trail of communication between them? LE stated they felt he was not known to HG, so it made me think that he wasn't exactly a contact in her cell phone. I guess it's possible LE doesn't have the records or that they met earlier that night in person and he told her where to find him.

I so would love to know this guy's name so I could look up court records. Maybe social media will flush it out. I totally get why LE isn't releasing it of course.

Just had a thought. There was a girl who went missing in Mclean, VA last summer. Turned out she'd been partying with some guys and they all bought heroin. They shot her up and then she became unresponsive. Instead of taking her to the ER, they dumped her body in their backyard.
Wondering if something similar happened to HG. Could explain her connection to sketchy dreads dude. I hate to trash the victim but the events of that evening are so bizarre this would kind of make sense to me.

That dude is way younger than the POI, would have been arrested on the spot for his involvement w/ the Sage disappearance if they found him in the apartment today. It would seem it is not the right person, just another guy with dreads.

no, they were refering to another guy, name starts with 'f'
