I grew up in VA and K was half-day (morning or afternoon) and it was for my nieces also. Is K now full-day?

I live less than 2 hours from Pulaski County and K is a full day 5 days a week here. Even Pre K through the school is the same.

Also, can someone clarify how far away the landfill is that they are searching? Very odd IMO for them to suddenly start searching the landfill while saying they have no leads to point them there. Seems like a waste of time if they are truly searching for a living Noah and truly have no reason to be there... PLUS from what was said it sounds like it's a bit away from the search area they have been focused on.

Wonder who has changed the story here...is it simply clarification on LE's part or has mom changed the story? If it's mom, that is a little suspicious IMO

Exactly .. I have no idea who but I'd bet not LE getting it mistaken. Thing is, it's a big time difference. If I were headed to work and saw random car/ person, it may not occur to me since it was reported mom saw him an hour and a half or so later. May have made a difference in issuing an amber alert or even just a suspect pool. JMO

My thoughts exactly...the time difference there is a big game changer. Between this and the parents' refusal to show their faces something seems way off here.

Does this area have garbage pickup or do people have to take their own trash to a dump?

Read the update at top ...

And in article :
The reporting of the timeline surrounding Noah Thomas' disappearance has changed since Sunday morning. Anthony Akers with Pulaski County confirmed Tuesday night that Noah was last seen Sunday morning in the seven o'clock hour. Noah's mother noticed he was missing around 10:30 a.m., and crews began the search at 11 a.m.

So story has changed.

LE confirmed he was last seen @7ish last night so not from this morning's presser? I definitely missed that.

Can you point me to a news article that says she fell asleep at 7:30? I didn't get that impression from the presser unless it came from the reporter's question I couldn't hear. TIA!

Yes, it came from the presser. Anthony Akers wanted to give a more succinct timeline. He first mentions the timeline at 7:10 then again during questions. See starting 10:30 on the video. Reporter asks second question (at 11:20), "... he was last currently seen at around 7:00am in the morning?" Mr. Akers replies, "Yes."

I updated my original post with more detail. Sorry I mentioned the wrong point at which he spoke about this

I really, really wish these parents would make a statement. Even if they don't want to go on camera they could have someone else read it, simply release it to the media or release it on the FB page that Noah's aunt is involved with. There are so many questions that only they can really answer.

Agreed

Do they not realize that when the public starts thinking that the parents are involved they stop looking for a live child? Nobody but the possible kidnapper benefits from the public looking towards the parents.

I agree, I would like to hear from the family but if media isn't allowed to ask questions or to submit some questions to the family (which I don't believe for a second it would be allowed) we probably wouldn't learn anything new. I cannot for the life of me even begin to understand how much grief they feeling now. Please help me pray for them.

I can't imagine how much grief they are feeling either but right now their grief isn't helping anyone, least of all Noah.

this is heartbreaking. Why aren't the parents making a plea on tv?

I don't understand the need for any timeline to change. You better believe if one of my children was missing I would be spilling my guts with any and all information that could help find them, including the exact time I saw the child last. I'm not sure where the discrepancy happened, either the parents or LE, but there should never have been a question or change about when Noah was last seen. I can't think of any valid reason for that to happen... and that makes me very nervous.

And now a search of a landfill ... I'm with you ... Makes me nervous. Something just isn't adding up. No pleas from parents .. Why?? Sure I'd be blubbering and crying my eyes out, but I'd do it regardless of people's opinions of me and napping.

If it was me, I wouldn't go on camera cuz I would a huge blubbering mess. But, they could at least release a family statement that LE would read for them. They may not be thinking about this and I hope someone is giving them good advice suggesting something similar.

Could you point me to where it is stated she didn't go to sleep until 9:30 or so? And where it is stated she went "back to bed"? We need to keep these things straight and I am digging, but not finding those mentioned anywhere to back them up as factual information.

The first time I read it, was the Aunt Kat who gave out that information beneath a news article.

The confusion may be as simple as she got the timeline wrong, and the mother may have originally said 7:30 but somehow the Aunt relayed it to the public incorrectly. She now runs the missing Noah facebook page.

I don't know that I would go on camera. Besides making money for media, it does no good whatsoever and there is always a large faction of people who say the parents look like they're lying.

I hope you're right! I hate to think the worst ... But my mind can be cynical at best sometimes. Guess I follow too many cases where the outcome is depressing!
