The jury has only deliberated for a little over 13 hours, including the hour last Friday. Most of us who followed the FCA case, which only deliberated for 10 hours, thought they didn't view the evidence, were so ready to be out of there, and didn't take their job seriously. I agree.

It may seem like years for us, but in reality it's only 13 hours. The testimony started in January.

I'll have faith until the verdict is read. On edge, but faith. I have an appointment at 1 p.m. tomorrow, so expect a verdict then.

You never know but I don't expect a decision until late Thurs evening or Friday. There is an Engineer on this jury. (Add-on: Do y'all remember when a juror asked if the pins in the shelves were round on both ends?).

Who here had to see it for yourself? The interrogation videos? The defense side? again, maybe sometimes again? (after 3 glasses of wine, maybe a third time?) If I was a juror, I would want to see or hear the first week again, and definitely want to hear the series of events per the defense again! That's why Juan brought up priceline. Just so the jury could request day 19 or whatever that day was, because he knows they will see it all, as clear as day. It is GOOD, they are taking the time to review, because the more you look at the case the more you see the "litany of lies". You did all of this review, because you need to connect the dots. They not only want to connect the dots but want to make a necklace of Death with it. Who are the people involved, are they credible? They are deliberating not only murder 1 but DP. Have a little faith! They were in the front row! Jodi told so many lies, the jury needs to verify! It takes some time because she is all lies. They will see it!

Travis, they will not disappoint!

I agree that the State won't try her again for another $1.6 or whatever million when they never offered any type of plea deal. There was a post earlier saying they'd take a hung jury before a lesser included. My thought was that, in this case, they're the same thing. jmo

Someone falling for damsel in distress, wronged by a half in half out boyfriend, courting other women, and she was pushed to the brink ?

And let's not forget THE sex tape. Especially if one or two jurors are a litte, ahem, "old-fashioned" to use Juan's term. They might not be able to separate the reality from the fantasy. I think this is what Nurmi and JW were trying to go for the whole trial - that one or two who might not have ever even heard anything like that before. They might think that's the REAL Travis talking, and not be able to get that it's just things he said in the moment, in a fantasy moment.

Is there anything on this list yet that makes you think, if I didn't know that, I would be struggling to make a decision? Not yet for me but it has made me see a lot of the JA history does influence my perception of her....

Hey there Frayed :seeya: We are at the hospital for his 2nd round of chemo. Last night was rough on him. He just sat in the bed and cried. I feel so hopeless....not knowing what to say to him. Thank you Frayed, it really means a lot!

Not going to jump down your throat. But I have anxiety disorder, along with shi**t self esteem, and this is the first book my therapist recommended. I'm a terrible patient and only read about half, but what I read was pretty good.

Yeah they are different. Wayne Dyer looks completely different now too...wow. He has a kind of similar philosophy though.

It's really not a bad book at all. These early self-improvement books are actually quite helpful. Positive thinking is good. Creating healthy boundaries is good. Learning how to be assertive (at times) is good. Everyone agrees with that.

Of course then came The Secret. They take a statement such as 'thoughts are powerful' and turn it into a scary, extreme belief that 'thoughts are the most powerful things in the universe'. Tell that to a victim of abuse or a cancer survivor! What BS! Also, the Secret basically exalts materialism and narcissism.

Call me crazy but I like moderation in all things. The Secret? Not so much. :what:
