I almost always cry for the babies, and not so much for the adults. But, this... this horrific tragedy that has befallen the Myers family.. this is just so damned wrong. My tears just won't stop.

I wish that I could find the words of comfort and solace that this family needs right now--but there are just no words that can ever take away the pain that this has inflicted upon them. All I can say is that my thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with Cody's family, friends and loved ones.

Rest in peace, Cody.

O man. I am just feeling so stunned. I just cannot put myself in Codys parents shoes for more than 30 seconds, the pain they must feel. Wow. I am so so sorry for Cody and his family freinds. I have had to tell my kids when they have had freinds die, 2 freinds this spring as well and it was not easy. I always say that sometimes people are taken young so we know what good is, because we don't really know it till its gone. Godspeed honey. Too tragic and absolutely senseless.

I had a meeting tonight, so I missed the press conference. I too feel such deep sadness at the loss of this wonderful young man. I will never in my life understand the senselessness of what happens. However, since joining I want you to know how amazed I am at the wonderful, thoughtful, talented, and giving people here. I know that there is still more goodness than bad in the world.

This is a thread for the man who went missing after his wife, Leslie, was killed. His son and girlfriend are the suspects, who are also being charged in the slaying of Cody Myers from Oregon.

Unfortunately, I really don't think David will be found alive, but I believe in miracles, so I'll hold out hope.

There's a ton of trees to the north and some farming type areas to the south. Philomath is the last major stop before you hit the coast. It's about a 45 minute drive to the coast from there.

I think that is a great idea! I'm in! Not corny at all. I think it's the right thing to do. I think Cody captured our hearts and maybe we can help make someone's day a little better - most likely something Cody would do. Thank you for that great idea!

I am hoping the son's girlfriend turns on him and tells everything she knows. Hoping he is found alive but with the devastation that these two have caused, it doesn't look good at all. These poor families, I cannot even begin to imagine the pain. My prayers are with them.

Did the news say how Cody was found? Wondering if these two suspects helped in any way...also hope that the female does not try the usual "he made me do it" we so often hear...this is just a hideous crime (spree).
