I'm sure dna samples are being collected as well from all the rsos. IIRC, this was done with surrounding RSOs in Jessica Ridgeway's case.
(wait, brainfart, why weren't they already in the system?)

Anyone know JW's full middle name?

eta: sorry, way behind here, double post

Also from this link:

"She stays in the neighborhood. She knows you don’t leave," said Almajero. "She knows you don’t go in people’s houses. You go and play with your friends, you come and check in."

They say people don’t understand what they don’t know.

"You’re not the one missing a sister or a daughter," Almajero said. "You don’t know how our family is. You don’t know our family."

The sisters say their focus is to keep their siblings safe and keep the kids' minds off the fact that their baby sister is missing."

The older sister says the Jenise knew not to go inside people houses. But didn't one of the neighbors say that she was known to just walk into peoples homes, as she was so outgoing and friendly? I am sure I read that upthread.

It's nice that the older sisters are being supportive of their family. But it is just magical, wishful thinking, to believe a 6 yr old is going to adhere to boundaries. They are too young to be expected to do so. That's why the cannot roam free, unsupervised.

No one said it was a rumor. Reader comments and FB posts are considered rumor.

Thank you! That's what I was trying to find the link for earlier! I read that too but couldn't remember where I saw it. I was starting to think I'd imagined it. For reasons I can't explain that comment grabbed me. Well, I do have a couple of thoughts but putting them aside until this case unfolds a bit more it just struck me as odd, especially when combined with neighbors' descriptions of Jenise being a fixture and often roaming the area alone. I've also read that she hung out with other kids but even then they tended to be older.

I guess what I'm saying is that Jenise didn't seem to have a regular gang her age that she ran with and was a bit of a loner, even seeking out the company of adults at times. To me that's a red flag on many levels. I'm sure she had playmates and all but still, I wonder...

I'm worried they don't think abduction at all ... Focusing maybe on home life ... :(

Why are "we" now saying they don't think abduction at all? Does anyone have a link for that? I've read it here a few times, but don't see a MSM link?

No background checks on visitors either! I am not following why LE thinks there has not been an abduction. Maybe they are referring to someone driving by and kidnapping her and driving away. If they feel someone has her in their home, or they have done her harm within the trailer park, that is not necessarily considered an "abduction". And then again, they may have a lot more evidence they are not letting the public know about and they think foul play which would not necessarily be an abduction. MOO

Did LE rule out abduction? Or did they say there is no evidence of abduction? Unless there is a broken window , strange foot prints, someone saw her pulled into a vehicle, etc. there could be no evidence of abduction but one still may have taken place. OH man, do I hate this case. Where are you honey ?

Jenise's family sure put a lot of faith in a six year old's ability to always do the right thing, and be able to discern an adult's motive or behavior.

I understand that she has always been allowed to roam around alone, but that's a lame excuse, and they should quit repeating it as if it's defensible.

Besides that, per their own protocol above; Jenise DID NOT "check in" with anyone Sunday, so how did that "usually" work? If it got close to dinner time and she failed to show up, send one of the siblings to go look for her and bring her home? Sighhhh ...

Great point. After the first failed checkin, why didn't someone go locate her? If she checks in every few hours and was gone all day on Sunday then her first check in should have been way before noon. So , if neighbors saw her after noon and she'd been located after that fist check in, she'd be home in her bed right now !!!!!! :(
