These people are clearly not good parents, but I'm not sure that specifically means anything. She could have been back home making a ton of phone calls.

I am not saying she was directly responsible for J's disappearance, I just am upset at her lack of concern for this child for years. Directly or indirectly these parents are responsible. imo

Please let this baby be found today. I know that it is likely to late to save her but I worry that her sisters will never recover if this doesn't end soon. The weight of the entire family seems to be resting on the shoulders of two young women that are far too young to have to bear it.

I'm still confused as to how many adults lived in the home. Actually, I can't figure out who is who in this household. Anyone know? Did the older adult sisters live there too, and now live elsewhere with the two younger kids who were taken away?

I have read both regarding the 2 Older Siblings. I tend to go with the Olders living away from the home. IIRC there is a 16 yr. old (who was away when this happened) a 12 yr. old. An 8 year old and Jenise.

Yes, I know one sister for sure lives a few hours away. Some news articles have erroneously reported the mother's older children lived at home.

Yeah, my head is swimming, spinning and now bald! Please let Jenise be found TODAY!!

There was a case about 6 mos ago or less, here on WS, with a missing child in a small trailer court similar to this. Many kids saw her playing that day but no one saw her getting snatched. The perp was a neighbor who actually was interviewed on tv and IIRC , he may have even called 911 and reported her missing. I sure do hope this story has a much different outcome.

Does anyone remember the name on this case? I keep hearing the little sesame street song " who are the people in your neighborhood'' and it seems these days no one really knows who their neighbors are. Unless they were seen being hauled off to jail after a brawl in the street, people seem to assume they're OK . :(

I've been on and off and didn't know y'all got the deal on his prev assault. I'm shocked sickened and knew in my gut that I was watching a guilty man...guilty of something .....I stand by my observations of his body language. I hope they are charged. She had to have known of his assault and his record, I mean his wife. I'm sickened to read back this morning. I mean, totally sick.

Reminds me of Aliahna Lemmon. Also in a mobile home park. The perp was a neighbor / "babysitter" who was even interviewed on TV. There were lots or sex offenders in that neighborhood.

We should be getting that presser in approx. half an hour correct?

NG was saying last night that Jenise was snatched from her bed; did I miss something? I don't see anything in the articles I've read that gives that info. I guess it could be correct though since no one has come forward to say they saw her outside playing or even awake and maybe watching tv on Sunday. I keeping hoping somebody would say yes, I did see her Sunday but as it stands now the last place she is known to have been was in her own home.

I know that the habit of this family to trust the safety of Jenise while she plays outside for hours seems so out there to most of us, but I don't think it necessarily means the family is involved. Her father and sisters seem genuinely concerned and saddened by Jenise's disappearance. She had been out playing so many times before that maybe they felt she was safe. All of us know how dangerous it is for children to be unattended but I hope more than anything that this family doesn't have to lose their little girl to learn that lesson.

Missing Girl's Dad: 'My Head Is Just Swimming'
James Wright consented to a police search of his home, but hasn't been named a person of interest in his daughter's disappearance

Is it just me or does he not even really seem sad at all? It might just be me and the way im looking at it. He says " im hoping she just went to spend the night at someone's house" almost like "oh well if they find her they find her". He just doesn't seem to worried about it to me.

Let it never be said that NG is guilty of checking her sources. Misinformation is just a variation of normal ...

They probably thought nothing has happened before, why would it now? But every time you drive the freeway without wrecking you are statistically closer to an accident, not farther away . :(

Idk ... Hearing about his history has made me look at him differently. He's a monster and any woman that marries a monster is no better but ... I think he may be trying to hard to hide his emotions. I wonder if he isn't afraid to express his love for Jenise out of fear that it will be read as something more. If you pretend you didn't really notice her or even much like her then you can't be accused of being overly invested in her, ya know? Defending him makes me feel dirty but I'm afraid we are way off base this time and the truth is going to be harder to accept.
