Thanks for posting that fascinating report, lots to digest!
Lyle certainly seems to have traveled a great deal, interesting that he did not appear to be tanned, yet moved around in warm climates. Maybe a musician or a salesman.?
Apparently he has a genetic tie with someone in Grays H, and lived there for about a month prior to death, iirc.
Wondering if he had been visiting his family, a child, or a b.mother?

Not sure. The isotope origin map does not show those parts of Canada I don't think. I found this article about missing aboriginal men but can't find the database that it talks about. Can anyone help find it?

Thanks so much. Nice being able to see it for ourselves. I had asked what waters were used for John Clinton Doe because his came back with MI. I know that the waters extend to Canada from being in a MI missing group, bodies come down to MI from Canada, so if isotopes come back MI, why not Canada too? The email on the last page pretty much says the same thing.

I still feel like his name is Lyle Stevik.

I have not been able to dig through much of the report yet, but it appears that the general area of Lyle's travels in the 12 months prior to his death coincides roughly with where he could have spent his childhood according to the isotopes. I know that doesn't mean he spent his childhood in all of those places, but my brain came up with: maybe his family is very spread-out across the country and he made a farewell trip? And because they are so spread-out they might be used to not seeing eachother a lot and nobody realized he's missing? Or they did miss him, but didn't know where to start looking/reporting it (I'm thinking of Jason Callahan/Grateful Doe).

That's what I was saying, I belong to a missing in MI group, bodies come to MI from Canada because they share the Great Lakes so I would assume Canada would be included. If using city water it would not be Canada according to the original report

I think that Lyle Stevik probably is his name.

That said there is a someone Stevick from south carolina that looks so much like him, including the ears that if her was put on here I would swear it was a match. He has a, very much alive relative, who I think is a brother with a name very similar to Lyle.

There are also some people with that spelling from the Chicago area. If your theory is correct and it's just a misspelling of his actual name, then that might explain the accent too.

Maybe he was a young man who left home to travel, just like Jason Callahan, and he just got tired of the life and didn't go back home. Who knows. I wish we did!
