Hi dave. I'm formally nominating you Mod of the Month for all your work to make the forum run the way it should. Since we don't have a Mod of the Month award at WS (that I know of), you'll just have to settle for this:
:tyou::cupcake::Banane35::goldstar::yourock::yourock::yourock::smooch:

spoiler alert: I am not a mod, shhh.

I didn't mean to quote that Dave, but when I tried to thank a post (my first time) the Thanks button disappeared. When I tried to reply to let you know, the only option I had was Reply with quote. I chose that and it made me log in again before I could post.

I'm on an iPad. I had already gone to settings and cleared my history and cookies.

Thanks!

PS. I was trying to thank the "Mod" of the Month post. You deserve it!

Thanks.

I am aware of the "thanks button" issue and am hoping to get more into that soon.

Not sure how to check this box on a tablet but when the Thanks button disappears on me, it is because I neglected to check the box to keep me logged in.
There's always so much to read (sounds better than I read so slowly) by the time I get to the bottom of a thread, the login has expired.

I also think I got diverted to a *advertiser censored* site today from WS, but I'm not positive. (It happened in the past several times last year). I may have landed (in error) there from a Google search instead, but I thought it was clicking on Google search results for the WS site. I closed the tab, didn't notice the site name or details, but it was around the same time I got redirected to that other (non-*advertiser censored*) site.
It just happened to me Boodles- for about the 5th time in the last several months. I am mainly on the Jodi Arias thread and have wondered if there is a connection?

Just to clarify, it had to have happened before I posted it was solved. I have rechecked and for now it is still clean.

It is not associated with any specific thread or forum. It is a forum wide issue.

Hi Dave,
Just a heads up. I got a warning notice from avast when I clicked on websleuths.
Thanks for all you do.

Sorry, but when I tried to enter Websleuths, a pornosite attached itself.
I'm on a Mac and at the time was using Firefox.

Here's the site:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, problem is taken care of.

On the right hand side of the first post in a thread, I have a big advertisement. And it's only the very first post. It's showing Alpha Wars. This is a first for me.
