^ Interesting; question though -- wasn't there blood (drops) recovered from the pillow on her bed? I thought I heard/read that. I'm new to this case so I apologize if I'm off-base. If so, that makes me wonder if the blow to the head was delivered as she slept.

The source and the amount of blood on JonBenet's pillow is not known. The only official reference to it is in one of the interviews where Patsy was questioned about it. I tried to get clarification on it from Kolar in his AMA. Here is my question and his answer:

Q: Because of a line of questioning in one of Patsy Ramsey’s police interviews, there is speculation about blood on JonBenet’s pillow. Is this just a small smear (like from wiping her nose), or is there an actual blood stain as might be expected from some type of injury?

A: My apologies, but in some instances it has been years since I reviewed information about specific topics or evidence and my memory is a little vague in some areas. With that qualifier, it is my recollection that any blood observed on her pillow was minimal and not attributable to an ‘injury.’ For sake of clarification, the only bleeding sustained from an injury was due to the vaginal intrusion. The blow to JBR’s head did not break the scalp and there was no exterior bleeding from that wound. Further, the coroner made no mention of an injury to her nose, or nasal bleeding. Draw your own conclusions.

Just a thought I had a few minutes ago.

Has anyone wondered if BR was maybe subconsciously jealous of JBR because of her name? I mean, as the male child, the "heir apparent," Burke would have been the obvious "Junior," but JonBenet got both her father's first and middle names combined into one name. It's a strange name to start with, and even stranger to have given her father's names to his daughter. Kind of reminds me of Barack Obama's mother's name, Stanley Ann Dunham.

I wonder how many times people asked and had that name explained to them, and maybe by age 9, Burke even had to explain it to teachers, etc.

Interesting. Doug Stine actually looks like he's about 30 years of age, unlike Burke, who still looks like a young adolescent, as though he's stuck at about age 11 or 12.

A search warrant was obtained and executed for Earthlink in Georgia. According to Earthlink's records, the account holder that has been accessing the becknerbpd@hotmail.com e-mail account is Susan B. Stine, 5760 Long Grove Drive, Atlanta, Georgia. Susan Stine is known as a close friend of John and Patsy Ramsey and has been interviewed as a witness in reference to the Ramsey investigation.

Yes, and both Glen and Susan quit their jobs at UofC to move to Atlanta. Glen went to work at John's newly formed business venture (which didn't last long and which he no longer includes on his resume). Susan went to work at (I think) GSU. (Last time I looked, the two had separate addresses.)
