Oh, man... Amber Trudell is on now (Lifetime) -- another example of a wacky stalker murderer.

O/t I just looked up Amber and I think the the site said gets released in 2016. Apparently, she got 2nd degree murder charge.

So... hmm... Don't you think this case would have been just as provable without the photographs? Wouldn't have known about the murder foreplay, ie. sex. And the time frame would have been vaguer. But they still have the premeditation and palm print etc.

Yes, I do believe we would still be sitting here talking about this trial without the photos...but, it would have taken a bit longer. Jodi was the prime suspect from the very beginning, and it would have only been a matter of time to match the palm print with her. At that point, they would have been able to uncover all the premeditation evidence.

The only question I have is whether or not Jodi would have been able to bail and be on the run for some time. She might not have been arrested on that 1st day of interrogation, had Flores not had the photos. Might she have done an O.J. and flew the coop???

I pretty much said this earlier in this thread or the last thread. Great minds and all that ...:D

I also said that I think she brought her own camera. She had a big camera and a little p&s. She hid her camera and the gun someplace she can get it later (when she walks out a free woman ) and revel in her work.

I think she just thought she'd deleted all of the photos from Travis's camera and put it down so she could do her clean-up. When she pulled the bedding off to wash it, the camera was somehow entangled in the sheets.

I don't think she intended to wash the camera. She could have simply taken the camera with her since she took all of her belongings, the gun and probably cash from Travis. She probably wasted precious minutes looking for Travis' camera before she had to abandon the search and get out.
I too think in the panic, moo, she "lost" the camera and had no time left to find it.....or deleted and in a very uneistienian way, thought that would be good enough, moo.

I remember someone was saying it was mailed. Probably part of JA's plan, to mail it on a certain date to get there but not early enough to allow Travis to deposit it or whatever and then time to get back to Yreka.

Did LE find an envelope on Travis' desk that the check had been mailed in? I don't recall any photographs of such, just the check.

MOO

I think she washed the camera to remove DNA and fingerprints. Earlier Ithought about it getting wrapped up in the sheets but decided differently later. She might not have intended to take the memory card I agree, she might have stupidly believed the washer would destroy it along with the camera.

That sounds awfully low. Ten people in the US and Canada? I'll bet there are hundred Bobby Juarez'z in California alone, maybe in just Los Angeles. I think the white pages must just use land lines, which most Bobby Juarez'z would not have.

I just looked up Roberto Juarez:

233 people named Roberto Juarez in the US | WhitePages
names.whitepages.com/Roberto/JuarezFind Roberto Juarez on WhitePages. There are 233 people named Roberto Juarez in places like California; Texas; Illinois; Florida; Arizona.

Ha! I knew there were more than TEN Bobby Juarez's in the US.

Agree. She wouldn't have escaped the arterial spray and she never would have been able to get bloodstains out of the rental car in the time she had. And she couldn't risk leaving a bloody print in or on the car or on the doors she closed and locked.

She must have simply forgotten about the bloody print on the wall.

Unless deep down, this was all a part of her theatrics. She's so egocentric that I can't believe she wouldn't demand credit for her handiwork. The hunt, the bait and switch, the drama in the interrogation room.

Her manner of speaking in the interrogation tapes (and on 48Hrs & Inside Edition) is completely opposite of how she speaks now.

What if it was all a big game for her? Could she be that diabolical??

Cue "The Outer Limits" theme song! I'm not saying I disagree, but for me this is far too devious a plan even for lil miss Einstein.

Oy Vey! ALV's got no license?

From ALV's c.v. = she only has her Master's degree. She is not a Psychologist, Psychiatrist, M.D. or anything else like that.

What is insinuated by the link where she was a "psychologist's assistant" is that the Psychologist she worked under has had his license revoked. That could be for a variety of reasons.

Oy Vey! ALV's got no license?

True, but in her defense, that was from 1989. ' Shorely' she has done something to change that by now.

She has her MFCC so maybe that is all she needs now.

we know that Arias arrived at Travis home in cover of darkness...

I think she also probably waited til dark to leave his home - considering she had at least 2.5 hrs to clean up, etc & considering it's an addt'l 3.5 hrs to reach the Kingman AZ area where phone calls were made to Travis phone at 11:37pm (which was 6 hrs after the 5:33pm photo of the bloody baseboards) ---

so, I looked at historical data from weatherunderground and see that sunset on June 4, 2008 was at 8:02pm

http://www.wunderground.com/history...tml?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA

2.5 hrs from 5:33pm (the timestamp of the bloody baseboards pic) would be 8:03pm

I was just looking this up and an article said that 16 years is the max sentence for 2nd deg. murder in AZ. That seems awfully short.

Oy Vey! ALV's got no license?

IIRC...that's just the expiration/cancellation of her Psychological Assistant license, which was replaced by her Psychologist license (which is valid). I recall someone sorting this out here a while back. :twocents:

Well he does look pretty upset, and the judge seems disgusted with ALV.

I thought this was just a regular break; no idea it was a timeout, wow!

I don't understand what you guys are calling a time out?

Do you mean that 3 minute recess?

I interpreted this that something occurred at the sidebar, where the judge agreed with Juan that ALV *must* answer that question about whether the text revealed that TA was very scared of Jodi due to her stalking. . .

And that time was given to the Defense team to advise ALV how she better answer or she would be held in contempt or something.

Did I totally misunderstand that?

Why would a witness get a 'time out'? I mean, what would be the purpose? They don't really do this, right?
