Why work when you can get away with being a money from the baby's piggy bank thief, not to mention forger, embezzler, larcenist, grand theft or whatever you call someone who gets away with stealing the family blind - right in your/their own home? One of many transgressions we have listened to.

Don't forget GA has told LE - ICA hadn't worked in over two years, (best he could tell) he just couldn't convince the high priestess CA - that their daughter was a liar, liar pants on fire - until things had gone way past simple mistruths about her lack of employment. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I would like to see an interview with the Sports Authority manager who "took George back and showed him all the employees' names." That never rang true with me. I think that was a lie as well. They knew she was not working. I just need to figure out why George keeps insisting he had suspicions but Cindy would not hear him out, for fear he would upset Casey. That doesn't make sense to me. None of their earlier assertions match up and when they finally get their stories together, it sounds even worse.

- Greta welcomed CA and then CA warned Greta to be gentle with her and then CA spoke nonstop up to the four minute mark.

- CA can't elaborate on any question because she hasn't had any sleep

- The babysitter was to watch Caylee for four hours. Greta asks 'have you ever seen the bs? CA replies, 'I've never seen God but I know he's there.'

- CA offers that she doesn't think the nanny is fabricated to cover this up. :waitasec:

- CA wants everyone to know - she's going to clear this up - KC did not say that Caylee was missing until AFTER she called 911. KC was so grateful that she didn't have to call 911 herself. :waitasec:

- CA was very gracious to Greta for having her on her show. CA demonstrated this by saying things like 'before you ask me a stupid question, Greta I'm not in your head, I don't know what you mean, and if you want sensationalism you're about to get it because I'm about to collapse on your stage.'

- Greta asks CA if she ever asked KC where Caylee was. CA replied she only had about 35 minutes (I guess that means no).

Baffling indeed. You could not make this stuff up if you tried.

Reading this I sense how defensive CA is even before they begin. Remember when CA said to KC 'Well you're not telling them the truth' and KC said 'You don't know what my role in this is?' The tone CA has in this interview is the same. CA is the queen of throwing it back in your face. She may respect KC (NOT!) but she shows no respect to Greta (what did she do?). Also there's a lot of projected anger going on from CA.

Excellent! I believe this interview set the tone for many of us who were worried about Caylee. I think we knew just what tragic end had befallen that precious baby.
I also can imagine CA twisting the "she thanked me" bit. I'll bet it was more like, "OH! THANKS A FREAKIN' LOT, MOM!!!

That still astounds me. She looked her own Father in his face while he was pleading for answers as to where Caylee might be and how to find her--

and she insidiously, slyly with direct eye contact told him---Dad, she's close. (my interpretation of her actions)

Thank you for summing up this interview. It is soooo obvious how completely absurd Cindy's behavior was. When I saw this interview, I Googled Casey Anthony and ended up here. I continue to be baffled by almost everything any Anthony says.

In one of the early jail visits with just George alone, he alludes to something in his past, that he had to deal with, and Casey acknowledges this, and it is dropped.
I wonder what that was all about ~

Wait till the trial when LDB and JA bring out the relationship between
CA and KC. CA's "Love Story" is going to come to a breaking halt.

It did get answered, only because LDB pulled out the FBI interview where CA said she put the odor together with the fact that Caylee was missing. Before that she was saying she doesn't know if she connected the two when KC admitted Caylee was missing. After reading the transcript she said if I said it I said it or something like that.

Though I don't doubt that George probably did go to Sports Authority, I don't believe that the manager, or, anyone else in a management position would take George, a total stranger to him, into some back room and show him the employee's names list.

Not for a minute.
All the person had to do was tell George that Casey didn't work there, never had, that's it.

There was no reason to have "Prove" it to George.
He already was suspect about, and the guy confirmed it.

I agree. By the way he described the lock laying inside the shed, he knew. So now I just have to ponder why the police report, coz his story does not ring true for me, although I have no idea how to reconcile the facts given by him with the hinky feeling about that day.

I would imagine it was like reporting the car stolen. IMO, they were trying to control a bad situation (aka Casey)...regardless of what they say about how everything was hunky dory...it wasn't. They saw Casey as "out of control" at that point and hoped to rein her in. As we know, they (the police reports) were idle threats...not the best way to deal with "a Casey", but in fairness to Cindy and George, IMO they just didn't know what to do...or at least the right things to do.

I agree, but if you play back his segment very slowly (frame-by-frame) you can catch Baez pulling on some near-invisible fishing line attached to Dr. Lee's lips. It's quite good puppetry I must admit......but puppetry all the same!! :crazy:

You'd think I would remember better which tape it was because of all the appauling things KC has said this one got me the most! Will continue to look!
