WHAT Has Been Said & By WHOM... That Baffles You? (aka Oh No They Didn't!)

In this video at about the 1:50 mark, her Mom takes the phone and Casey says "Hi Mom." Then she starts to laugh and says, "Well I lasted a minute." And laughs more. She means, she lasted a minute without laughing. What else would she last a minute without doing? She sure wasn't crying after a minute. Or angry yet, that is. Why would she be laughing? How terrible. Pure EVIL, in human form. She is one cruel, vindictive troubled person. It is so unbelievable to actually watch Evil at it's best. How could they (her parents) let her get away with being a devil all her life? This is so insane to me.

I enjoyed this thread. Here's some other stuff I didn't see mentioned.

I don't know if this counts as something said but how about all the icons she had on her computer? Wow. They spoke volumes to me: She's beautiful, cruel, boy-crazy, liar who is destined for fame, capable of hurting children... and proud of it!

As for LA... One minute he's telling TL that his sister started lying in middle school and never stopped. The next he's claiming that he believes everything she tells him. Also, the speech he gave at Caylee's memorial was truly CREEPY. I felt like I shouldn't even be watching it, and I will not again. Unfortunately, it is burned into my brain. Kind of makes me want to throw up, even now.

Paraphrasing here but I remember GA telling LE something like "I'm asking you to tell me if you think my daughter had anything to do with this so I can tell my wife because this is going to kill her."

I now agree with those of you who think something changed between the time of the 911 calls CA made and the time the police got there. I think CA, desperate to find out what happened to Caylee, effectively called the mother-of-the-year's bluff when she dialed up the police, but before the police got there, some type of admission was made. Well, admission may not be the right word because I'm sure it was a pack of lies, but I think CA believed it. I think the purpose of the lie was to appease CA so that she didn't give away anything and everything she knew to LE - unfit mother stuff, the fight, her and Caylee never showing up at Universal Studios that day, etc.

Everything the A's have done since then was in an effort to keep ICA in their lives. They have all kissed her butt and are all more than willing to believe all of her lies. She doesn't even have to lie now, they'll make them up for her. And what has it gotten them? She doesn't care to see or talk to them. I bet she thinks they are so stupid, and is relieved to not have to deal with them any longer. But I bet it's comforting to know that she has them all lined up behind her, and if she finds herself needing anything, they'll be there, just begging for more of her mistreatment.

It makes me wonder, would things be different if they had put her through the ringer and not settled for her BS? What would have happened if they had embarrassed her on those jailhouse vids? Screamed at her, spit at the glass... walked out of there and made her feel cut off from the family and all alone in the world. Not brought her ironed and fresh clothes for court appearances or deposited money into her account. I bet she'd be singing a very different tune. If nothing else, it would've made her look bad and I think that would've just killed her.

It's like they have created this monster... and they're still feeding it.

BTW, why are we calling her ICA now?

I've always been surprised by the way that she replies to the drowning in the swimming pool ~ so cool and cold, "Surprise, surprise"....it's almost as though she is ADMITTING that's what happend, as in, "no duh", or "no kidding".

If Caylee had gotton into the pool on her own, without anyone knowing, perhaps for hours even, then, yes, someone would be in trouble for neglect.
Casey then panics, makes up the Zanny story and the rest is history.

"An "accident" that got overblown", or however George stated it to River C.

I thought it was really strange when I heard her say that also. I didn't give it too much thought at the time. But, now that you mention it, and put it that way, I think you are absolutely right on the money. It would be a remark that "Evil Witch" WOULD say.

Justice For Caylee!!!

I said that long ago..this isn't a normal reply but ICA is anything but normal. I thought this to be the truth into how Caylee came to her demise. The pool ladder was left by the pool and not neatly tucked away as it usually is. Did Caylee want to go swimming and mommy dearest was busy texting or on the phone? Did precious Caylee drag the ladder to the pool and go for a swim??? Her "surprise, surprise" remark brought my hinky meter to full blast. Wasn't Caylee found with a bathing suit??? Did the tests from the Tennesse lab show chlorine???

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News got details Friday of a working theory held by investigators that little Caylee may have drowned in the family swimming pool. A source close to the investigation revealed only to Channel 9 a working theory of the crime involving Caylee drowning and what may have happened next.

The source said some investigators believe a flurry of phone calls from Casey to her parents on June 16 could be an indication that whatever happened to Caylee happened that day. On that day, Casey and Caylee were last seen together by Caylee's grandfather George at the Anthony family home where they lived.

Caylee Marie Anthony loved the water and some investigators are considering whether that has something to do with her disappearance.

The theory is based on the following facts.

Fact #1: Casey Anthony's phone records show a flurry of unanswered phone calls to her parents on June 16.

Some believe that could be because that's when something happened to Caylee. A possibility being considered is Caylee could've gotten into the backyard pool on her own and was discovered too late.

Fact #2: Eyewitness News was told the Anthony family was careful to keep a ladder near the pool safe from Caylee, but that around the time of her disappearance the ladder was up.

"Boy, how she can just figure things out. We, of course, as every family would, we've had to childproof everything and she's smart enough to take it off," Lee Anthony said.

Fact #3: A neighbor says, right around the time Caylee disappeared, Casey had backed the car up to the garage, which the neighbor said was unusual, and borrowed a shovel for about an hour.

Fact #4: The car was later found abandoned at the Amscot at Goldenrod and Colonial and was towed. When Casey's parents found out and got it back weeks later, Caylee's disappearance began to unravel. Caylee's grandmother called 911 and made a frantic plea for help.

"There's something's wrong! I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car!" Cindy Anthony said in the call.

Fact #5: Investigators said they found evidence in the car that indicated Cindy Anthony's statement was true and the FBI is testing it to verify that.

"The first 24, 48 hours I had the 'what if, what if, what if.' I also went over all of it with the sheriff's department. Sgt. Allen can tell you that I sat down with him and talked about different things. He made me feel a lot better when they examined the pool, around the pool area, because, to me, that would be the riskiest place that something could have happened," Cindy Anthony said Friday afternoon in response to the theory.

This is not the only theory investigators are considering, it's only one of them. They're still hoping to find Caylee alive.

Channel 9 has also learned that new technology is being used to try to find out if in fact there was a dead body in Casey's car. A new lab test is being used on a sample from a stain found in the trunk of the car. A new device tests gases emitted from the stain to determine whether there's evidence of decomposition.

Here is what I think of Casey's reply. If you have ever listened to the Detectives interviewing Casey at Universal, she tries her usual bullchit and goes off in another direction but Allen brings her right back and says if you want us to help you, a good starting point would be to answer the question.

In the tape you reference, it is the first time Cindy has seen Casey and she says we forgive you for anything you have said OR DONE. I take this to mean we know you are responsible, but please give us the details. Please tell us what happened.

Casey knows what the mother is asking so she first pretends the sound is too loud and tries to evade the answer with getting that fixed, to no avail because Cindy is not going on to anything else and Casey answers I haven't said anything, don't worry - which has nothing at all to do with what Cindy is asking. And Cindy lets her off the hook by saying it is kind of loud and then lets the subject go.

Another time Cindy asks her about a picture of Caylee and what apartment it was taken in and ICA tries to evade that by answering very broadly saying yes there were drums in that apartment, but Cindy persists and Casey tries to evade again and if you watch her body language and her facial expressions - it is obvious she is trying to lie, but STILL to no avail, Cindy persists but she adds "because I know whose apartment it is" and so Casey says it is Ricardo's. BUT if she could have, she would have said it is Zanaida's. But Cindy let Casey know she already knew the answer.

Was this the time ICA said the apartments look alike? or have the same floor plan? I had the feeling ICA had told the A's this was Zany's apt, the place where she was leaving Caylee overnight while she "worked" - I wanted to wring CA's neck for not allowing ICA to finish answering the question when she cut her off with the "I already know." Had CA kept her mouth shut we would have heard from ICA's own mouth that Zany does not exist - because we knew whose place it was too...

CA - while madder than he77 at ICA, was already in protect mode. Had she only kept quiet - LE would have had ICA on tape again, proof positive all the lies were just that - CA knew too, as much as she wanted to choke it out of ICA - she wasn't giving LE any more ammo than they already had. :furious:

I had the feeling the "We forgive you" was from all the things CA just recently heard ICA had been saying about the family - more directly her mother - but GA's abuse, stroke, pending divorce, giving her the house and moving Amy in, CA and GA fighting so she stayed away and kept Caylee away, CA being a controlling b!tch etc etc etc...

I didn't feel CA had gotten to the place where she knew Caylee was gone and ICA was responsible. She feared this (in her heart she knew) but that first phone call home and the first visits - they (C&G) desperately hoped ICA was just being vindictive - over the money, possibly the fight and every other bad thing THEY had ever done or said to their very own princess of darkness - MOO

IIRC the bathing suit was a Padilla story - she had been wearing a pull up, her pink 'Little kid - BIG Trouble' t-shirt seen in the photo's from Tony's apt & the white/lightly striped shorts from the "weird Caylee/ICA video" with ICA on the floor like a in-human rocker with Caylee sitting on her knees.

There was some chlorine - or a derivative of it, but it could have come from cleaning solution, decomp(?) or other things besides the pool - IIRC.

I think if Caylee had drowned or any other accidental death, KC would have sang rather than gone down for murder 1 - the defense knows she is going down - how far down may depend on where JB tries to lead the jury. (too bad the drug deal story fell apart - that must have been the story "that would all make sense" at trial. Right?) Flipping loons all of them!

Why would she be laughing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3xJi0Lu_fc

I think she meant she lasted a minute without bursting into tears, or her version of bursting into tears, which is to wipe away a falsie with her fingertip and look at it.

I found it odd when George commented that he had never watched Caylee "alone". As if there was something wrong about him being "alone" with her.

Not sure if this was said (my phone is showing the threads all wrong) but what I took from KCs "surprise surprise" when CA said the new theory was that Caylee drowned was 'no that's not how it happened. If you watch her body language, she shakes her head no as cindy is saying it. Poor Caylee was murdered. Twas no accident.

On NBC's Today Show, August 13, 2010, Cindy said something along the lines, "she isn't sure that Caylee is dead. And that she has more questions that need answers before she will 100% believe that she is really dead." That was mind blowing to me, to say the least. Why would LE lie to her about the remains being Caylee? THAT doesn't make ANY sense. :waitasec:

It was so strange to me, when George wanted Casey to sign that paper, so that her driver's license could be renewed.:waitasec: Where and what is she going to be needing that for?

What baffles me is that it is 2 years after Caylee went missing and defense is still trying to form a defense with nothing valid, nothing. When they have Ms. Reference Source sitting in a jail cell dreaming up things she plans to do when she gets out because her attorney will somehow pull a "wabbit outa da hat" defense. I don't see the jury saying, "Now how did he do that??? or "Oh, now that makes sense." jmo

The gas cans...seems that GA stated one of the gas cans "stolen" contained gas while the other held the oil and gas mix for his weedeater. Can't use that in a gas tank.

Cindy's statement "don't fight with the Anthony's - you won't win". What kind of grandmother says this when their grandbaby is missing??

When Lee asked, while discussing Caylee being missing, "is this like the other time"?

And now we know that the bracelet is probably the black broken bracelet that MP wrote about and he apparently had repaired and wore it to the hearing. And now it's pretty obvious that he was talking to ICA when he said CMA.:croc:

It had to have been Casey that Lee was talking to. If he intended his remarks to be about Caylee, I think he would have spoken her name. Lee is as transparent as the rest of the family.

I will never ever, as long as I live, get over the fact that Casey initially admitted to the 31 days. I will never understand why she buried herself that way. Why on earth didn't she say "since yesterday".

Excellent point! I don't think this is something we've ever really looked into and questioned.

It would have been much less incriminating to have said, "she's been missing for a little more than 24 hours and I've been desperately trying to find her."

My take on Casey saying that Caylee had been missing for 31 days is that she was directing that statement directly at Cindy. She wanted Cindy to KNOW that what happened to Caylee was a direct result of the fight Casey and Cindy had on June 15th.

Why bother reporting the break in for two missing cans at ALL.. unless he DID know it was Casey and was pi**ed at her and wanted to use/hold it against her for reasons of his own.
wild

Cindy had been advised by a counselor to get custody of Caylee and kick Casey out. If that was the case, George and Cindy would need proof of wrong-doing on Casey's part to build a case for their seeking custody.

I've always wondered if reporting the break-in of the shed was part of building a case against Casey for George and Cindy getting custody?
