Good morning.

I shy away from trying to put my own interpretational spin on what Fitzgerald really meant or didnt really mean or how he reacted or didnt react.

Maybe I do this because for years I have seen body language experts be totally off and completely wrong in their assessments.

I take what he says at face value just like other LE department heads who hold interviews.

Imo just because he said no comment on Jayme having a 19 year old doesnt mean she has one. He is just not in the business of quashing rumors. If this guy truly existed it wouldnt continue to be a unsubstatiated rumor a month later.

His name would be out there by now with the media camping outside his door for an interview.

It is obvious rumors are swirling just like in any case. Of course he would know if a couple was missing all of a sudden so that is also nothing more than a rumor imo. Of course he isn't aware because it is just another rumor and isn't true.

Just like we heard the blood of Laci Peterson had been found on a mop inside her home and it turned out to be completely false.

LE in her case were asked this same question over and over for months by the media and they refused to comment even though they knew all along it was false.

Imo the 19 year old doesnt exist except in the minds of those who run with gossip and rumors.. even more so in a small community.

There is no way he wouldnt be known by name now. It wouldnt be hard at all for the media to find him. That's what they do best....snooping into someone else's life.

And if anyone was a boyfriend of Jayme's of any age that would have long ago become known too.

If they believed a boyfriend of Jayme's was involved the FBI profile would be detailed and specific instead of being vague.

Which still makes me believe they aren't finding any POI with any familiar link with any of the three victims.

If they had even a inkling as to who may have done this the profile of the murderer and abductor would be honed in and tightened specifically on anyone they think may have been involved.

Yet..imo.. the FBI analysis is going to be more generalized encompassing many types of offenders who could have done something like this.

Jmo though

I agree with you OBE. Even though he said "no comment" in the Dryden interview, Fitzgerald also said this recently (BBM):

"There was nothing out of the ordinary, no boyfriends, nothing on there that points us in any direction," he said.

I think the simplest explanation for the "no comment" is that he wasn't going to address a rumor. He has since made it clear they have no evidence of any boyfriend. I believe the boyfriend angle is completely made up by social media theorists. JMO.

NZ man 'flew to US to attack teen girl'

A New Zealand man flew to the US state of Virginia and was shot after trying to break into the home of a teenage girl whom he met online, police say.

Troy George Skinner, 25, was shot in the neck by the girl's mother after smashing his way through a glass door.

Goochland County Sheriff James Agnew said the man was also armed with a knife, duct tape and pepper spray.

He travelled over 8,500 miles (13,500km) after the girl stopped speaking to him online, police say.

Now that it absolutely terrifying. Geez.

Trying to look at this case with a fresh set of eyes, starting with the known physical evidence removed from the house by LE . Here's what I have so far:

1. Glass storm door (intact)
2. Main front door (extensive damage)
3. Wooden dining room or kitchen chair (extensive damage)
4. 3 cell phones belonging to the victims
5. 1 mattress (possibly 2 ? )
6. a nightstand
7. several boxes
8. bullet casings

Did I miss anything, or state anything that isn't correct ?

9. The bodies of Denise and James

Agree to disagree. ;)
The child trafficking yeah I can see where this would be the wrong theory and you would disagree. But this not being planned is highly unlikely. If the killer's main target was Jayme he made the plan of kidnapping her and most likely had a plan to eliminate any confrontation that would happen. As for knowing them, he/she had to know the family or have met them once before.

Extremely frightening and adds yet another possibility to this case, however unlikely it seems. His motive would seemingly be to either harm or abduct the girl, and good on the girl's mother for shooting the perp in the neck. In the Closs family case we simply do not know the motive, we have the means (gun) and the opportunity (isolated area at night) but unknown motive.

Wow! Yeah I guess it goes to show that we can't rule anything out, no matter how farfetched it may seem. I mean, I agree that this scenario might be unlikely in this case—but I'm sure it would've also seemed just as unlikely and farfetched to that poor family in Virginia!

I think each profession adopts certain key words that become a natural part of speech. Especially in LE and court settings where choice of words are important and can become a legal nightmare. When I trained PO's to conduct and write Pre-sentence investigations one of the first things (of many) I learned and taught was the use of these words "it appears the defendant.......". Those words can be followed by just about anything but can never be used on appeal to say there was misinformation given the court for sentencing. I don't see the sheriffs words as anything other then I am not answering for whatever reason.

Yes very scary, it opened my eyes in seeing what lengths an obsessed/mentally unstable person might resort to.

I'm not suggesting this is what happened here, but what if a truly innocent friendship either online or IRL on Jayme's part turned horribly wrong?

That has been my theory since day one. However, as time goes on I'm starting to move away from that idea.

Going back in time. Does anyone remember the tip that was given on Barron Sheriffs FB about a possible vehicle that matched one of the 2 descriptions and was seen at the Ramblers inn? (the post was allowed btw). I guess I am sifting through things that have been dismissed but throwing it out there anyway. Has anyone checked the sex offender registry addresses against the address? Also the Radar story about A&W. Is that near the Ramblers inn? My head is going in many directions.

Naming a supplier directly leaves that supplier vulnerable to recalls (lost sales) and lawsuits. It’s also a political football as the USDA is being asked why (until 11/15/18) suppliers have not been identified until now.

When I first heard some time back that there was some bad turkey floating around, I figured that the ones with the most to lose (if a source was identified) was the manufacturer/processor.

If the government knew (or at least had a good idea) where the bad turkey was coming from and did nothing, then perhaps it's the government (or specific government employees) who had the most to lose.

Could James (and/or Denise) have known something, and threatened to go to the media?
