Oh, "that" source.

But, how about this source?

“Is it a random attack or a targeted attack? I don't know that answer," Fitzgerald told reporters. "That's why those leads are so important."“
I can tell you the same thing Tricia did about Radar. Radar does produce good content when it comes to true crime. Also, note that the way the FBI operates is different than a county sheriff. Information is leaked strategically quite often and the sources are purposeful, typically due to relationships they have with the reporter themselves.

There's another reason, of course. They wanted her but not because they thought they were saving or protecting her.
Yes I agree. Perp(s) wanted her, protecting may be the least common scenario. Closs family lives on the main road Hwy in and out of town. Think we can assume LE always has a presence down the road at the casino, and in the other direction in Barron city limits, near bars etc. If someone wanted a home invasion, why not choose a may out of the way spot, still with easy access to arteries. This is a main road, with neighbors somewhat close by.

It's up to each of us to define what we want to believe. I'll stick with LE not saying she was targeted. When it comes to things like that, I'll stick with Fitzgerald.

OK, my mistake, and I apologize.

In going back and reading, it appears that you copied not only the article but a " BBM" type comment from another poster.
Whoever posted it before you had bolded the part about Jayme being in the house at the time of her parents' murders.

It seems a little odd to bold that part out of everything, because she very likely was at home. I don't think that's ever been disputed.
BBM means "bold print by me" which I did to the words "not confirmed" cited in the news article. Please take note my post includes no such statement(s) from other posters, and article link is provided for verification.

I just saw that. Looks like restraints. MOO.

Could this crime get any more horrific.
The minute I saw that chair being carried out I thought restraints. Why would they mess with a chair that had a broken tie cushion? Perhaps Mom's wrists show she was restrained or Jamey.
This one is so puzzling. Such rage doesn't come from a Romeo coming for his Joliet. They usually come through a window in the dead of night.
One thing I'm pretty sure of is that Jayme was a target. Internet creep? I don't think that would bring such violence either. They are creeps but I don't think Killers.
I was thinking today that poor kid is out there somewhere and her two biggest protectors are dead.
Nobody to plead for her return or tell her they love her.
Murder sucks!

I still maintain a little Occam's razor goes a long ways with the analysis of this chair. The ties in the back look consistent with Windsor Chair cushions, almost always having two tag ends on the lower left and right back spindles:

The detail that warrants more scrutiny IMO is the damage to the front left or "splinters" as they've been referred to (others have speculated that it's possibly a LE ID tag). When you watch the video you'll note that the protrusions top and bottom are rigid and don't move the same way that the "cushion ties" do. Pure speculation on my part but appears to be impact damage of some sort (gun shot, swinging of an object etc.).

They have also been proven wrong on many of their crime stories.

It has not been verified by LE as to what type of gun it was so we don't know if they were shell casings or bullet casings that were left behind.

I thought the police said multiple bullet casings were found at the scene?

They wouldnt decribe them as bullet casings if they were actually shotgun shell casings I wouldnt think.

I have never seen the police say bullet casings when talking about shotgun shell casings. LE can be anal at times about using specific words about shell casings vs. bullet casings since they legally mean two different things in the criminal justice system.

Notice just posted on the Barron Sheriff's fb page: Barron Area School District
Edit/Correction: just posted to Sheriff Fitzgeralds twitter, linking to the Sheriff's Dept fb page.

Good. Glad to see there are more opportunities for the perp to slip up in public. The community needs it for healing, the LEOs can observe behaviors.

when did DC enter the bathroom in that 30 minute window, right after JC was shot? If that were the case, and she had her phone, why wouldnt she have dialed 911 sooner ?

I don't know the layout of the house, but it's possible she got hit and ran into the bathroom and locked the door. If that were the case, I imagine terror at hearing what's going on in the other room, perhaps trying to barricade the door, panic about your own injuries and trying to stop the bleeding, likely going into shock...any one of those things, and certainly a combination of those thing , could cause your mind to turn to jelly. We think 20 minutes is a long time, but under those conditions , I bet it seems like an instant.

In looking at home invasions and abductions, it's not as uncommon as you would think. In one recent case, the child was the target and the connection was that the perp had seen the mother and child in a grocery store (Thomas Evans, SC abducted a 4 year old girl in Feb 2018). In another case, the homeowners had a for sale sign on their front lawn and that drew in the perp. DC and JC may have stopped for gas on the way home, been followed by someone who took a liking to JC and he waited until midnight to grab her.
It absolutely does happen, but not in this way.

Predators use a myriad of methods to get what they want. What they don’t do with any regularity, is murder two parents in order to kidnap their victim.

This case has garnered so much attention in part, because it is so unusual.

Jayme Closs is alive, an FBI source has exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

That’s the new bombshell information Radar can reveal about the missing Wisconsin teen who was abducted from her home after her parents were killed. “We know 100 percent that Jayme is still alive,” the FBI insider told Radar

They haven’t. Moo.

Right?
No, there have been reports that the motive was 5he abduction.

They have also been proven wrong on many of their crime stories.
Many news sources give wrong information while reporting on crimes, including legitimate ones. I remember reading a lot during the JonBenet Ramsey case that was later proven to be untrue from major news sources.

If you don’t think the source is valuable, then I’d say take it up with Tricia or move on. That article has been quoted by other news sources at this time, so other journalists are taking it seriously.

This chair has to mean something. If it "only" had blood on it then surely they would not need to bring the whole chair in as evidence. For as gruesome as the le have made it sound, there could be blood all around and on furniture, appliances ect but you don't see them bringing out couches, beds, kitchen table, end tables ect. Something significant is with this sole chair imo.

It looks to me as though the front right of the chair seat could have had a bullet go through it. You can see the raw, light colored wood and splinters. I have no idea what this might mean, but that is what I see.
