Sinix, Im not sure theres much left to be said about CCC. Its up to LE to vet them. We dont know if LE considers any of its members suspects or not. It doesnt matter. They screwed up this case.
I dont believe anyone was told to leave their phones behind. Theres no basis for the rumor.

As for CCC, I see they were discussed on numerous sites to death years ago so I have to believe that avenue had to be thoroughly exhausted one way or another. But you say nothings really come of it? Usually with groups that have a certain amount of members and pressure gets put on, someone spills the beans about something. If the stories with them were true and I guess thats a big if, it connects a lot of names connected to the lisk story, local law enforcement and provides a motive behind their epic incompetency on this case.

The CCC link always looked big to me. Connects a lot of big name long islanders connected to the case and the girls. CCC connects Hackett to Brewer and others right? Connects these guys to both Shannon and Amber.

This is a group of guys, high level professionals with access to the medical and law enforcement fields. They had involvement with prostitutes- finding them, using them, threatening them. Evidence of their misdeeds is forever left in forum posts they made long ago. They had a falling out with Hackett in which he was accused of being too weird even for them.

Curious why this group has been eliminated or not more frequently talked about. To me, a lot of the LISK screams multiple people with law enforcement and big money involved. Which brings me to my first question. How do you get an escort to go with a John without her possessions? Money, threats, familiarity. A powerful group of long islanders has the means for money and threats. Are there any others? Can anyone invent a situation where a pro would do this for not one of those motivations?

I agree with your theory. However, if the ex chief of police was connected to these murders nothing was followed through on and I would bet he was hoping that the case would die on the vine. No one counted on the divine intervention that pushed Chris Loeb into mption.. Spirits have an interesting way of of working with the living to communicate. It's heavily rumored Burke messed with prostitutes. If that is true, he was in the world which connects all parties. Burke could be connected to this case in a number of ways. LE disruption from a high local level in this case fits. Burke's shown a proclivity for covering up. He's had other officers in on at least one attempted cover up. He's into very perverted stuff but the idea of him partying and being a John are just allegation. But I think there's a very strong chance of there being truth to it.

It's possible he just partied with these guys and doesn't want that uncovered. Maybe all of this is true and they still have nothing to do with any murders. They are just a shady bunch they mess around with drugs and prostitutes. Maybe it was a rogue member of their group. Maybe it was a concerted effort between members. I would go with the rogue theory. But its obvious why LE cant investigate that or any other theory that involves Oak Beach.

If CCC were implicated, a rogue member might be the most likely explanation.

Think someone like Hackett who is weirder than the rest of them. Medical knowledge to cut bodies up. Apparently has a chip on his shoulder about being disrespected by that group.

As for GB4.... Which was the one that was basically luring the Johns in and robbing them? She had threats against her on utopiaguide which ccc was all over then she ends up a corpse at GB. Then you get Hackett messing around calling the Gilberts maybe trying to set up a story of innocence early. There's a lot of smoke there.

Hilarious idea! We could call in all the new stations too. At best, it would keep the investigation in the spotlight, so it picks up steam again by generating new leads. Also, it will be a good way to let LISK know we won't stop until he is locked up in a cage where he belongs.

IMO, that story was at least partly rumor. Iirc, a similar incident occurred, but NOT in OB as reported by a poster on another board. The woman was AA.

I don't remember the exact year. It's been a long time. Some time around 2010-12, I *think*. JMO. Take with a grain of salt, but I wouldn't post at all if I didn't trust my memory on the factoids I do recall.
