Perhaps they haven't continued to keep their silence. They had a police 'escort' when they left their house ... would the police be doing that if they were being entirely uncooperative?

Perhaps they have just decided not to say anything publicly. Which is their option. No matter what others think about their choices.

We can all speculate about what we would and wouldn't do in their situation. I hope that none of us ever needs to find out.

From articles that I read last night, they dont appear to be bad parents and were conducive to a decent family atmosphere for their family - often being seen on family bike rides together, for example. (Not only recently.)

(These comments are not aimed directly at your post, just jumping off your post :) )
Yes the police would still provide an escort even if they were being uncooperative

I found this slightly comforting at the bottom of the CNN report "Federal arrest warrant issued for Brian Laundrie for his 'use of unauthorized devices' after Gabby Petito's death, FBI says"
"A National Park Service ranger who also responded to the call spent about 90 minutes with Petito and warned her that her relationship with Laundrie had markings of a "toxic" one, the ranger told the Deseret News of Utah.
"I was imploring with her to reevaluate the relationship, asking her if she was happy in the relationship with him, and basically saying this was an opportunity for her to find another path, to make a change in her life," ranger Melissa Hulls told the Deseret News.
CNN has sought comment from Hulls."

A North Port law firm says it is offering a reward for information on the whereabouts of Brian Laundrie, who is a person of interest in the death of his fiancée Gabby Petito.

North Port law firm offers $20K reward for information on Brian Laundrie's whereabouts

The Boohoff Law Firm is offering a $20,000 reward to "the first person to supply information leading directly to the exact whereabouts" of Laundrie.

In a lot of credit card agreements, it is not permitted for someone else to use the card.
The indictment stated the debit card was from Capital One Bank. The below is from their website.

If you authorize someone else to use your 360 Checking/Overdraft Line of Credit/Free Savings Transfer account or Card, you‘re responsible for everything that person does with your 360 Checking/Overdraft Line of Credit/ Free Savings Transfer account, including any losses, charges or penalties incurred as a result.

FBI: Federal arrest warrant issued for Brian Laundrie out of Wyoming, wanted for bank fraud

I just ran out to run an errand and literally saw two Brian look-alikes. I was out for an hour. Just goes to show you how many people look like this guy. Needle in a haystack. He could be anywhere. MOO

I think the most distinctive thing about his face is his eyes. They droop down at the outside corners, which is unusual.

So if spotters focus on his eyes (and his nose is also kind of round and on the big side) that will identify him. Not his clothes or dirty feet or backpack.

MOO :)

Don't forget everyone - he tried to create an ALIBI - when he hiked into town on the 29th - He wanted to be SEEN - it's why he hitched a ride. Told the young girl that picked him up he was out camping alone and his girlfriend was back at the van working on the computer...then he offered her $200 for the ride. Why? so she would remember him because it was ODD to offer that. And guess what, she did.

But she also remembered he was too clean for someone out camping alone on a tarp and had no gear with him but a small backpack (again super weird for her). I believe this shows he is super calculating, but not very smart.

To those insisting Gabby was the aggressor:
1. The 911 caller stated “the gentlemen was slapping the girl”
2. Her best friend states BL was often jealous and controlling, citing specific examples of this
3. He appears to be a loner with no friends who still lives with his parents whereas she had many loved ones and didn’t seem to have any issues interacting with them
4. In the body cam video she is visibly upset and taking responsibility for the incident, also mentioning he doesn’t believe in her dreams, while he is making jokes and calling her crazy
5. In the restaurant incident he appears to be repeatedly bullying others despite how distraught it makes GP
6. She has been murdered and left in the dirt while he is in possession of her van and credit cards, not looking for her, not speaking to authorities or family, and now on the run.

Even if she was the aggressor, a male who is much bigger and stronger has a responsibility to walk away before he retaliates, knowing he is more likely to hurt her than vice versa. But that’s not what I see here anyway. I’ve been a psychologist for 25 years. In my experience and IMO this is an abusive man whose violence was escalating. Also IMO he is 100% responsible for her tragic death. MOO

Only one of those points were available to the LE during the stop and the witness who reported seeing him slap her didn't stick around to get interviewed. All 3 of the people who gave statements to the police didn't report seeing him hit her. With the known facts to hand, she was the aggressor in that situation and all 4 LE there, including the female park officer, agreed to that. Saying that doesn't mean I don't think she was a victim of previous or future DV nor that BL isn't responsible for her death.

BAM!!!!

I really wasn’t buying it initially. It’s the tattoo matching that has me hung up on this. I mean, there is clearly a tattoo on the same wrist as we see on Brian in the body can footage. The dates are all wrong though.

And also, IF he used Gabby’s card in Benton, IL, would this not suggest he did not take a direct route home?

Benton, Il is pretty direct. Depending on traffic, construction, etc... could have been the fasted. 22 min longer than going through Kansas.

From the warrant (ETA: Indictment not warrant), it mentions one debit card and two account numbers. Would this be like a checking and savings? Just curious.
Yes. Checking and/or savings. Could also be a brokerage account that comes with a card or checks, but I highly doubt she had a brokerage account or a lot of money (more than a few thousand). Remember, you can also transfer money between/with phones via venmo, paypal, zelle, apple pay, etc.

I have been away. For a whole half a day! I will never get caught up but will watch Tricia’s Live tonight. Please join me. twinmom2011. IMO

Quick thought. The witnesses (esp the 911 caller) will be so important if Gabby’s murder is brought to trial. Brian can easily say it was self-defense but with all these people coming forward with peeks into his crumbling ego, that will be debunked. Or maybe it was self-defense. IMO

Personally I hope it will never go to trial. Stop the search IMO

I stayed up all night to see Scott Peterson booked!
I hope the floated theory is right ..that the parents are working on turning him in with this new lawyer. Said person is such a lazy ,self centered, entitled raging 5 year old …I do not think he offed himself .

When he vanished from his parents' house, GP was missing but not yet found. His parents might have been willing to hide him for the time it took for attention to die down if she remained missing and never found. They might not have been all in on hiding him as a fugitive forever. It is possible that the parents are assisting LE now.
