so earlier this week (9/30/2021) lyssa chapman tweeted that all info is shared with LE.

Update: Yesterday was a good day. Today we will process evidence, and intelligence. (Sharing all of such with LE) The hunt continues… #staytuned #TheHuntForBrian

then yesterday (10/1/2021) supposedly Dog said he isn't giving LE any info,
"Dog told Newsmax on Thursday: “I guess we kind of do the same thing but I don’t pay too much attention like they don’t pay too much attention to me.

“After 45 years, I don’t call the police, they usually call on me – so I don’t know what they’re doing.

“I can’t call up and say ‘Hey G-Man what’s going where’s your leads? And they don’t call me and say ‘Hey Dog where are your leads?”

Dog HASN'T shared Brian tips with cops as he faces fury over 'publicity stunt'

be nice if those two could get the story straight. MOO.
also, has anyone read anything about BL putting peanut butter on his grilled steak? just curious. MOO.

I wonder if Dog states he doesn't turn things over to LE so that those who don't want any dealing with LE feel comfortable coming to him with tips. I do think if he had something important that he would likely work with LE as Lyssa is stating. MOO.

I took that to mean that they aren't collaborating, not that he isn't sharing relevant info with LE, but I see what you're saying completely. I hope he is sharing relevant tips with LE.

It doesn't bother me that Dog is on the prowl for BL, but seriously, could they stop with the clickbait, please. Capture imminent!!! etc. They are going to need a photo or see him themselves to even get close to capture and at that point it is time to let LE do their thing. jmo

LOL or yours or mine...his dogs are simply sniffing for humans!

Hahahahaha I didn't realize that, wow! Okay, but seriously, if BL is "missing" then wouldn't his parents have given DTBH something his dogs could sniff out in order to "find" him?

Do we have ironic irony here?

... and could this possibly have a connection thereafter to the Laundrie parents visiting Orlando?

They spent an inordinate amount of time in a library there, and apparently didn't touch a single book whilst there.

Very suspicious IMO.

They were at the library for 30 minutes, that really doesn't seem like an inordinate amount of time to me.

I just keep thinking how easy it would be just to find a homeless community in a large city to mix in with. I don't think people follow the news much there, do they?

No, they don't. Also, people under 40 watch way less news. As to the "lifestyle" in that community, it can really vary, especially if a person has a tent and camping gear. New homeless encampments are springing up in the Los Angeles area:

They are a lot like dispersed campgrounds. This doesn't strike me as BL's "style," but there are more youth-oriented (possibly scarier) places in SoCal. I don't know the situation in FL - the weather is so different. Many of the homeless in that video are from out of state (mostly East Coast, some from hurricane-impacted areas as well).

So maybe it’s possible that after Sep 14 when his parents reported him missing, he was never there? That’s not good…

No, it's not good. BL has a lot of options here. Although, part of me believes he died in that swamp. There was the empty gun case (I think) shown in the back of the Mustang.

It's the not knowing that's so hard. I am not optimistic that he'll be found any time soon and would love to be wrong.

I realize this backtracks a bit on where we are right now, but this article from The Sun includes some details I hadn't seen before (or forgot). It highlights the mood in Moab after the first couple is murdered and includes details from interviews with Gabby's family shortly after she was formally missing. Was worth re-visiting, for me.

This section (among others) caught my eye:
In a statement, Petito's family said: "Every day the search for Gabby continues the Schmidt and Petito family becomes more desperate. They are frantically searching for answers and information in their daughter’s disappearance while Brian sits in the comfort of his home.
"Brian claims he wants to sit in the background while we search for Gabby in the wilderness of the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks."

They called his silence "reprehensible" and begged him to "do the right thing and help us bring Gabby home."

"Brian, whatever happened in Wyoming, happened. The only thing you can control is what you do now. Tell us where Gabby is," they said.

Read the entire article here. It is long....but interesting to me. MOO
Gabby and Brian 'had HUGE row at store where a murder victim worked'

His parents called 911 on the Dog. Not likely that they relented and gave his gang sniffer material.!!! jmo

Brian's ego would never allow it. He's smarter than everyone else. He's the master of all things forest survival - in his head. His admitted hero, Christopher Thomas Knight excised all care, the road behind, the future, an audience called humanity, to live as he pleased as a hermit/burglar in the forest for 27 years before he was captured. Brian's big mistake was choosing Gabby for conversion to the iconoclastic, self-manufactured religion of Brian. He just couldn't break her of her love of the world and the souls who populate it. You mind as well try to teach a fish NOT to swim. That simmering incompatibility exploded on a dry creek bed. He finally blew his gaskets. Gabby was a mare who could not and would not be tamed or fully recruited into Brian's plan of the ages. She, not he, was innately liberated.
The next tool in his arsenal is to console himself with blowing off the past and getting down to the grand plan - the fully-realized Brian, alone, in charge, self-cutoff, living the dream.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
-------- Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám

I suspect Brian believes this very thought.
MOO

Love this post. Can't like enough.

This would be my thought, the easy way out. Hiding in the woods is hard, it cold, can't make a fire, covering a trail in the wild is hard.

Me....I take the sunny sky's of CA, where homeless are provided many comforts, food kitchens, hot showers and no one knows your name. I'd be a homeless old man, tends to gain more sympathy.

ETA...BL may want his claim to fame, as some have pointed out. Living years on the lam could be or so he thinks.
All Moo...

@branmuffin,
On the other hand, a DEAD person fifteen feet from the road in a heavily-traveled campground can (and has in other cases) has gone unnoticed for a long time. .

Snipped by me. I read that the place where her body was found was roughly 200 yards from the van. Another poster responded to my post with a map saying it was 275 yards away and across a river or creek. Where did you see 15 feet from the road?
