Is it possible that CL and RL found BL dead on the 13th when they searched for 4 hours for him and left him there hoping that the search team would find him, but when the search was called off without finding him they decided to go to the place they knew he was deceased?
I think this kind of makes sense... but then what would the point of it be to leave him there? If he's dead he's dead... cant imagine a family just leaving a body behind if they cared... but maybe they just didn't want to be the ones who found him officially

Yes, yes, yes to this, sometimes it takes throwing yourself in front of a horse or another horrible thing to happen to change the world, i think her parents are determined to help just one person in gabbys name and it’s already helped my daughter I’ve already had words with my daughter about a safe word, she wants a van like me and her step dad, but now her and I have a secret word that she can text me if she’s ever in danger and able. RIP gabby you have changed the world. Someone beautifully put it to me before as the ‘gabby effect’ MOO
JMO, As horrific as this crime has been, many cases will likely be solved. There's the person that was found off the outlook, and I think at least one person was found in the National Park in Wyoming. Plus, a fugitive was captured from the reserve.

Or, they saw him the 13th and/or 14th around that spot alive.

The point is why would he bring a laptop that needs charging with him? Not a phone... there's no internet there... again all of that requires power and power is only in areas with people.

Why would he strangle GP?
Why did BLs parents find his belongings?
Why did LE in Utah let him off the hook so easily?
Why did nppd not have a surveillance on him?
Why did the parents not return phone calls?

Just MOO!

Oh, sorry; I was just kind of saving it for the information indicating that the Laundries made their intention to search to LE last night. In all the hub bub, I had missed that and was just saving the information. I’m kind of out of it.
Thank you for the link, some of us just got here and no harm done to anyone who had already read it.

I have the same thought as many. If CL and RL were to have had BL turn himself in, they would still have their child. He would likely get a 10-15 year sentence (at most)(IF they could prove him guilty), and he would be alive. Now, IF this turns out to be BL, they can wrestle with their demons for the rest of their lives. It boggles my mind that LE and the FBI spent thousands and thousands of dollars searching and they went right to him. This just is the cherry on top of a horrible horrible case in which there are people IMVHO who should feel shame.

Yeah, it doesn't quite add up still. If they told the FBI Monday 9/13 BL was gone, why would the FBI come to them weeks later asking if they were sure Tuesday 9/14 was the day he went missing, causing the Laundries to change their date through SB? And it sounds like SB made no effort to correct the public perception and offers a bizarre story about "ok fine we'll file a missing persons" on 9/17 because of FBI search...

Someone should check the record of 911 calls and see if there's one logged for 9/13 from the Laundries. I don't know where those records were published but it is one way to disprove or prove what he's saying.

If SB is telling the truth I'm going to have serious questions about LE knowing the potentially suicidal boyfriend of a missing woman was missing in a public park and they just let people walk through that park like nothing was going on. From a public safety perspective that seems crazy?

I am pleased that some items belonging to Brian have been found, and I would venture to say the partial human remains found are his. My sleuthing skills failed for sure, but I’m anxious to hear if BL is deceased, was it by suicide or other causes? I understand because of the flooding it was challenging to find anything or anyone earlier, but this morning still seems a little too convenient for my comfort. JMHO. How did a bag, or whatever it was, end up so dry? Has it not rained for awhile there? Everything seemed to unfold so quickly and easily this morning. MOO …

But parents supposedly spent 4 hours looking for him on the 14th...so it would have been just as dry as it was the 13th, and yet they didn't see anything, but after briefly looking today, BINGO! ??? jmo
You say they looked briefly today. Do you know how long they searched before finding the bag? Thanks.

I believe it's possible that BL often grabbed Gabby by the face and the neck. There were probably other occasions where he pretended to strangle her. To me, it's just so abnormal to grab someone by the face or neck and from a woman's POV it would carry an extra layer of threat. I find it so hard to imagine what Gabby was going through with her boyfriend and how in a panic she must have eventually been on this van life trip. Her whole relationship was tanking and she was very, very far from home. And she was with a guy that thought nothing of grabbing her face (and maybe throat) to "calm her down".

I've had plenty of arguments with boyfriends back when I was single ... not one of them ever grabbed my face in the jaw/throat area. I think it's incredibly unusual. Why would any woman put up with that?

We also need to keep in mind that we don't know if these remains are BL! They could be someone else, or something else.
Other thread article posts have said they found the remains close to BL's belongings. IMO - I think it's him.

“it’s just happenstance that Chris Laundrie stumbled upon Brian’s items.”

“it was quite near the entrance where they told the FBI to go”

Over a month almost an entire police force / sniffing dogs / and the FBI could not find what CL found in 45 min today.

The morning after the Reserve is open to the public …

I have no words.

(MOO)

It does sound like of crazy and coincidental, but people do sometimes "get a feeling" and "follow their gut". I've done it. Sometimes it works to follow your intuition. After all, this is a case where psychics have been weighing in, and even talked about today on live TV during coverage by JB!

IMO

There's no call or reports in the NPPD records for 9/12 or 9/13.
