NG: Who wanted the divorce, you or her? RON: We both agreed to it. NG: Who brought it up first? RON: I did. NG: Did she agree right away? RON: Not at first, but not that long after.
_____________

Jason Oceans: The only problem I see is she [Misty] didn't tell the story the same way every time.
NG: well I see a problem with that!
Jason O.: many witnesses fail to tell the story the same way each time.
NG: Ron, did Misty's story actually change?
Ron: Yes, ma'am it did.

Wake up Nancy Grace, Ron asked Misty to marry him, not the other way around. So in regards to thinking that spousal protection was thought to have come into play by Misty is ludicris. It was Ron who asked Misty to marry him, thus it was him, not Misty who thought that the other spouse could not testify against them. Nancy needs to come to grips on this case. She is making a fool out of herself.

In other words, Misty got an "offer she couldn't refuse". Right?

If Ron does not share his dirty laundry, it won't surprise me... he didn't when KP had Crystal on NG, trying to expose Ron as an abuser, and he didn't when Geraldo went off on him. Ron just tends to skate around all issues... in my eyes he has always done that.

Ron has always had the women folk in his life to answer questions like that. That is why he is skating around issues. Tonight is all about throwing Misty under the bus. He needed to do that before Misty spilled the beans. JMO.

What a waste of time!! Nancy, you are being played! I wonder if Ron and Misty concocted this separation to get the heat and attention off of them?

Either that or Ron is going to do away with Misty or already has. I guess we will see if she ever pops up again.

All I know if that when young uneducated people split up, they are angry. They will tell everything they can about the other. He is just too calm.

Eh, he is implying that it is amicable?

Something is seriously off about this "divorce"...

Caller asking RC if he's consulted a psychic to find Haleigh. He says yes, but nothing's led to Haleigh. A few came down to search.

Why would he need his lawyer ~ up until now Miss Nancy has been his friend! ;) MOO

The last couple of NG shows he had Shoemaker at his side and was basicaly muzzled and non-responsive, that's all. I'd think he would continue with that counsel at his side unless the money ran out?

I can't understand why Ron is sitting there smirking so much. What's so amusing? The divorce?

But it was interesting to see part of the Today show interview in which he seriously answered that Misty might be involved--surprising he said that.

Well, that's true. I do wonder what's really going on here. :waitasec:

.... or is arrested or confronted by LE on her lies, based on their new investigation.

Perhaps it's a PR move... to make it look like he doesn't need his lawyer (how much you want to bet he is off-camera). A lot of the general public tend to question someone's innocence when they show up with a lawyer by their side. What's the saying: "if they are innocent, why do they need a lawyer".

(Mind you, I don't see it that way, but the general public seems to, at times)

See the thing that makes me think something has gone down is b.c LE has spoken out how they dont like that a lot of crap has gone to the media. If something happened they might have made it tight lipped & that is why Ron's not talking.

Wonder why Ron does not have an attorney with him, unless he is sitting just off camera?
I'm sure you're right, I bet he's about 5 feet away.

ETA - BOTH his lawyers are there. Looks like the same room, from the background. And I could hear Ron's first lawyer comment in the backround when the camera was on Ron. ha ha

Oh now RC's lawyer is on.

JVM says Misty's mother, who's in jail, has the answer to what happened with her daughter that night. and the longer Mom's in jail, the sooner the truth will come out. She wants a way out of that cell.

Hey, there's Shoemaker!
