So is Al tellign us that Casey did kill Caylee? I thought KC plead NOT GUILTY? - Am I wrong?

She faultered when she said it too. I think she realised to late how it sounded.

All this blablabla is pulling the horse before the cart, right? She hasnt been freakin' sentenced yet! So therefore its not the time to argue that the sentence is unconsitutional?

Where is AL going with this? I'm not seeing where this supports her argument too well, talking about studies between death-qualified and other juries.

IMO, her intent is to trumpet her cause, that she is very passionate about (whether I disagree about or not)-She has to take this opportunity now, because she may be looking at telling KC a plea is necessary-There are more and more rumblings about this, the media has asked AL directly about a plea and she has not directly ruled it out (though she did say she would not talk about it at all because it was inappropriate).

So in the end, AL has essentially stated her client is guilty but the DP charge should be set aside because there is no proof Caylee suffered. AND she is offended by the DP because jurors are predisposed to giving out the DP when presented it with an option.

Hmmmm-if a case qualifies for DP how do you remove that lens from the jury?

I agree with you, seems more like a shining moment in the spotlight than validly defending her client with meaningful facts linked directly to challenge the death penalty. She really seems to want to challenge the state's motives more than actual facts. IMO, her train is way off track.

I realize AL is doing her job, but this thesis should have been written not spoken for hours. Then the Judge could review and address in a more efficient manner, rather than hours of Court time.
