Are there any speech pathologists on this board? I have a question about JP's speech idosyncracies. You can hear him say "wiff" instead of "with" and "expecially" instead of "especially" etc. Is this is speech impediment, or an accent sort of thing? It's obviously got nothing to do with literacy/intelligence...so what is that? It's been driving me crazy not to know (hope this isn't too OT..if so, go ahead and kill it)

I was noticing the "wiff"..like he can't say his THs. I wonder if it's a dialect. I think it's cute.:blushing:

Some of it may very well be a midwestern thing. I say exspecially, and I was born and raised in the midwest.

Also, to clarify - the attorneys on truTv stated that JP approved 300 hours for in-state investigators and 100 hours for those out-of-state.

Only one other time that I know of. KC wrote about it in the letters, IIRC. I believe it was when they were in the midst of their media campaign.

Man, the camera operator has to be one of us. They just showed KC walking in from the knees down, the chains dragging and the sounds of clinking. They just had the camera focused on her ankles under the table.

I've never seen that before.

Just wanted to say I LOVED the look on JP's face when Baez finished counting and declared 19 in camera experts. LMAO!!

For the most part though, JB seems prepared and more professional than I have ever seen him. Some nerves in the beginning I think but he is doing ok , in my opinion.

I like his natural style and delivery. It's really a shame the way some people find it appropriate to constantly mock his pronunciation, etc. I'm always shocked when I see that here. He is a bilingual person, he's Latino, get over it, you know? The attorney I find hard to listen to is LD, she has a very nice voice and is obviously very, very good, but it's the register and mellow tone of her voice and the halting, emphatic way she speaks, emphasizing every word, she makes me start yawning immediately.

Actually, after thinking more about this, if he did lie to Nancy, his testimony would be worthless now, wouldn't it? Who would believe anything he said?
