besides the loss of Caylee and being accused of her murder?

perhaps I could believe that if the tears arrived oh,,,,,a few years ago....

She certainly didn't cry when Caylee went missing, so she must be fake crying about being accused of murder.

:waitasec:
"she didn't cry when Caylee went missing" ---- TL says she was awake crying at night

"so she must be fake crying about being accused": ------- she wouldn't be worried about being accused/the death penalty, whether guilty or innocent? I'm not sure I get you here.

I'm coming in here late, but tru-tv is showing recaps of Casey while the attorneys are up doing a sidebar. Casey is really digging and poking at her eyes - looking at the tissue afterward. Please...just spare us! Her face is not red and there are no tears. She's faking it - again.

It's all about not messing up her makeup..

My Mother always said that a clear conscience was the best pillow.
I think that applies to Casey. A guilty conscience will wake you up at night..

My off topic comment here....she had nightmares/sweats over CAylee...I don't recall tears at all. Please lets not derail this thread.

Casey is being afforded the best defense lawyers (excluding Baez) and experts money can buy. The judges have been fair and ruled by the letter of the law. She will get her fair trial and there will be no reversals or grounds for appeal. IMO Justice will be served for Caylee in the end and hopefully the truth will prevail.

Can you quote where TL said she was crying at night over the loss of Caylee? I'd appreciate reading it, thank you lots.

ETA: don't quote it, send me a link, please, of him saying this. My PM box or visitor messages is fine, if it's not too much trouble.

I saw no wet tears, no red face. It didn't appear that she was crying IMO.

Caylee never went missing...she was murdered...she wasn't a missing child, she was a murdered child. I don't think the tears have anything to do with Caylee...KC cries for herself. jmo

IS it me or is anyone else severely underwhelmed by the power of A Lyons arguments? I thought that as a teacher she would be much more articulate and definitely not so whiny...:twocents:

No criticism of Judge Strickland of course, whom I liked very much also, but Judge Perry also seems great. I like his rapport with all the attorneys and he seems very fair.

Thank God little Caylee has Jeff Ashton at her side and fighting for her rights. He is a wonderful advocate for her and she needs it.

Who are all the extra women behind the defense table? Geez, everyday it's more.

The defense thinks the more they surround KC with women, the more likely some of it will rub off on her.

May I ask why JP is shown such respect by the defense but they couldn't seem to show it to Judge Strickland?
What is the difference between the 2?

I thought Jeff Ashton was wonderful; very passionate and well spoken.
I didn't like the judge giving him a little dressing down and I don't feel that the judge is very well spoken at all considering his position of power.
He should say his words more clearly.
Maybe i'm just pizzed at him for scolding Ashton. How dare he!

I got the impression that the judge liked Ms. Lyon.

I thought it appeared that KC was actually crying...I saw her nose turn red and tears (thank you HD big screen) but my issue is this...of all the horror that is involved in this case, the "timing" of her tears in court puzzles me...whatever could it be that brings tears to her eyes? It is not concurrent with anything that disturbing occuring in court....my only guess is that she is pondering that fact that the DP is NOT GOING AWAY perhaps as easily as her counsel led her to believe it would???? Is Kc upset because she is facing the reality of this case bit by little bit in these hearings? Oh it makes the mind wonder....

I think her conscience is absent. She only cries because she feels sorry for herself.

I didn't like him dressing down Ashton, either, but at the end of the day, JP is a fair and excellent judge. This will be a fair trial, to be sure, imo.

JP may like AL, but team Caylee won today's battle, again, it's just my opinion.

ETA: I got the impression JP was annoyed with AL at certain times.
