It seems he has the attitude of one who thinks he is beyond reproach and does not need to bother with all the minutiae and facts of a case. HE will tell you what he has to say and you will like it. You have no place questioning him because you didn't go to law school. He will answer your questions quickly, confidently and in a way that makes you sound stupid for asking them. Forget substance. Forget facts, it's all a 'sale' to him. This may have been great back in the 70's, before the internet age, but he comes across imo as a bit of a relic. He tries to cash in on the 'good ole boy' vibe, but he doesn't understand - the world has moved on.
I don't even know how to say this without seeming to cast aspersions upon my elders, which is NOT my intent, but... is the defense shoving CM into the spotlight because they presume that they will be able to challenge their way to an older jury pool? Who may not be as MS/FB-WS-up-to-the-millisecond savvy as might be a jury that skewed younger? Who may chortle their way along with CM to an eventual NG verdict?
Oops, duct tape evidence. Nevermind...
This is my opinion. I really don't get how people like him sleep at night or how they feel good about what they do...it's not a defense he is putting up, it's just a shell game and a prayer that the prosecution screws up. In a perfect world he would be sanctioned for his obtuse arrogance and shameful unprofessionalism.. Again, just opinion. Sorry if o/t
Our, and Caylee's, best defense against a bearded charlatan is IMO the EVIDENCE. Aw-shucks your way past that duct tape, Cheney. I dare ya.
