2010.09.07 - Ron talking to LE per AH on JVM

Ronald might have been shrewd enough to have involved everyone in it and then told them you are just as guilty for having helped. By everyone, I mean Misty, Tommy, and Joe.

Just throwing that out there from a head that already hurts.

I've thought the same for a long time. I think he told them that they would be charged with the same offense.

Correct me if I am wrong....BUT....If you are getting a text message on your phone..will your phone ring...like normal???

The point I am trying to make...IF...Ron was sending Misty all these text messages..instead of calling her....Perhaps in receiving a text message the phone ringer is SILENT and therefore..where ever..she/he is...they can communicate without ALERTING they are on the phone...in their surroundings............anyone??? thanks

Don't know if anyone answered this yet but my phone does not ring for a text. It gives a little one not bell sound. And it buzz's. FYI.

Levi just stated "breaking news", that $50,000 bond had been posted for Ron. Actually this is old news. Not enough bond to get him out.

Somebody better start telling the truth, IMO. Haleigh deserves to be found and the person or people guilty of her disappearance need to pay for it.

I hope MIsty, Tommy, and Joe hears about this from their respective attorneys. Why in this world would they see Ronald get all of the breaks and not say anything if he was involved?

The really, really sad thing here is that none of them can be trusted, tho.

My initial thoughts:

If Haleigh was thrown into that river at Shell Harbor, why would Ron point out that he knew Tommy was at his parents' home? Unless he called him on a landline at Magnolia St and the records are there to prove it so he has no choice but to admit it. :waitasec:

By the same token, if he's finally admitting a fight took place it's because he can no longer deny it. Everyone else is willing to testify that the fight took place, so they've got him dead to rights on it. :waitasec:

I've got to muddle this some more. lol
I think maybe Ron owned up to the fight, in exchange for some gun immunity. & I don't think Ron ever did deny the call to Tommy, just the reason. But come to think of it, I remember Werter saying that Tommy was changing the TIME of his story, not necessarily recanting. So, it looks like LE is trying to place Tommy in his folks house at a certain time. a crucial time, I do believe, that doesn't match up with the Joe story. I think Ron realizes the jig is up, & that's why he's talking...to save his own hide.

I have tried zillions of times to find an article earlyon that covered Ron's call to the Croslins home. The article stated that the call was made to a landline and not a cell phone. I can no longer find the article. But that may be why Tommy has to change the timeline on that call.

bolded by me...

Could it be ...this was the time that Haleigh was picked up at the bus stop in the van driven by Misty..and she drove over to the Magnolia house...to hang out...and Tommy joined up with her....and then something HAPPENED to Haleigh???...Perhaps Misty was NOT home that night...BUT...at the Magnolia residence...with Tommy...and Joe????..
all in my own opinion...

Hey Lone, can you refresh my memory...I need a little help..LOL

What times does Tommy give for that phone call? I know one was at 9pm, right? What was the other time? TIA!

I assumed it was a landline, because I never heard otherwise. &. During the bust, it was said that Tommy went into a pool hall to use the phone, so I assumed he didn't have a cell, but am just guessing.

Just to reinerate: Ron's statements need to be vetted, ie., by answering the RIGHT questions while hooked up to a poly. Any other way is totally BS. If LE comes up and say that "John" is vouching for Ron's answers, I'm going to puke.

If after 'interviewing' Ron, LE wants to talk to Misty again, I really don't see how that points to her being guilty of killing Haleigh. Early on, LE claimed to suffer from some kind of technical difficulties, & I assumed it meant pings...surely it wasn't the text messages. If they were written to & from unregistered track phones, I guess that could screw things up, but what if 1 of the phones was on a plan? Without those texts, we may never know for sure, what happened. & if Ron has been keeping that info from cops, well why would they trust him now? He could claim anything.

Oh man, I was thinking that he said 10 pm but I don't have a link ready, just going by my poor memory.

It's true that none can be trusted at this point but I do recall two recorded phone conversations (jail visits of maybe end of April/beginning of May), one in which Tommy indicated he tried to tell LE about Ron but they didn't want to hear it, and another in which Misty claimed Ron should be looked at more closely by LE. I am not sure what Tommy tried to tell LE about Ron but whatever it was, evidently LE was not interested. And from what Misty said I could not determine if she tried to talk about Ron and LE said forget it...of if she had simply suggested to LE that they need to look at Ron, and they declined.

So, even though those two cannot be trusted I have to say those statements made by them during jail visits piqued my curiosity.

I seem to remember some of that too...Didn't he have to wait until his wife got home???... he was babysitting his kids...

But why did he go over to his parents house.....???? To find Misty???

all in my own opinion

lone, I was thinking that 10pm was the time that Tommy supposedly went to the house and Misty wasn't home. I certainly could be wrong though, there has been so many stories, I can't keep up anymore. I don't believe a single word that any of them have said so far anyway.

Actually, I recall seeing a video where TN admitted the fight and Ronald was standing right there. As she said it, Ronald started shaking his head and said, "no, no." It was the video where the guy from the funeral home first spoke.

JMO

I remember that video to La. dont know where to find it though.

& let me tell you...if Ron was sending out as many texts, as Art now claims, then I'd bet money that Misty was answering back. To continue to send out unanswered texts, would be pointless. Also, IMO, if that many calls & texts had gone unanswered, Ron wouldn't have made the peanut stop, & asked Misty what she was still doing up, when he got home. He would've wanted to know where she had been.

Are we sure Misty had her phone, or could TN have had it?:waitasec: I am confused.
