I agree. I have the feeling HHJP gave CM one last chance to get his ducks in a row and act better in court, probably based on CM's long career. I think he feels sorry for CM to have work with a lowlife lawyer like Baez too. However, CM shouldn't be constantly going down to Baez's level, pulling shenanigans time and again instead of vigorously defending Casey, and that is no one's fault but CM's. Sparing CM was probably HHJP's way of warning CM to not go down like Baez has. CM still has a chance to save his career, which has spanned many, many, MANY more years than Baez's has or ever will. I hope CM gets the point and shapes up, or it'll be his career that gets flushed down the toilet next. Baez is totally out of chances with HHJP. Now CM is on his very last one. I hope he takes it seriously or he will get a sanction, maybe even contempt of court against him. HHJP is through playing games here.
I mean, come on, CM, do you really want to be known as the great lawyer brought down by Jose Baez, the most laughable lawyer out there? Don't you want to finish your career with some dignity left intact? This is your chance to take a good, hard look at this case and at the team you're working with and go out on a good note instead of letting Baez drag you down into retirement. If you're smart, you'll shape up and quit all of this foolishness, which has gotten you exactly NOWHERE. Quit the Foghorn Leghorn act and do your job for once. Quit throwing your career away for the likes of Jose Baez. I'd like to believe you're so much better than Baez, but I haven't seen anything from you to prove that yet.
